U-Haul just forgot about me after they took money from me they never gave me back my $100 deposit took a truck for me that they ran me a stolen truck then they repossessed it with my bones in it and nobody has helped me nobody to turn my call they just acted I was told by the boss there that y'all have insurance and you don't even care about your customers and I am a three-term vet but maybe daughter and my old man is army veteran as well
Stires J | Overall ExperienceWhen I first rented my unit the first time, the promotion was to receive one free month for signing up. Within a week of getting my unit, many of the lower units flooded; all the customers were given a free month for THAT inconvenience. I received a bill a month too early, in essence only getting one month instead of the promised two months. The very friendly clerks told me that because I had checked in online rather than in-store, the one month free sign-up discount was not automatically applied--that they had to do it in-store. But because some deadline had passed, the system would not let them apply it. This is not right. The only reason I checked in online is because I received a text telling me to do so. I think this is scammy business practices to promise a promotion, guide customers to a work-around, and then blame "the system" for not giving what you promised.
Jocelyn D | First ImpressionsMy unit flooded twice and both times I told your staff to not throw anything out - I would be there to do it myself. I came the next day (in both instances) and your team decided it was okay to cut my lock and throw away thousand of dollars of products that I could have cleaned and sold. Unacceptable. I will tell anyone that asks to never trust Uhaul.
SHANNON M | Overall ExperienceNicholas provided atrocious customer service. When we walked in, he was cursing at one of his coworkers, who appeared to be subordinate to him. He was extremely agitated and talking so fast I could barely understand him. I explained to him that I have had a brain injury and asked him to please speak a little slower. He did not, and seemed even more angry and agitated after I asked that of him. I walk with a cane and asked him if I could have a unit as close as possible to the door. He sneered, ‘ everyone wants a unit close to the door.’ I asked him a second time if he could please speak a little more slowly, and he threw his hands in the air and exclaimed loudly, ‘ I can’t help it! I have ADHD.’ I told him it seemed like it had been a stressful day and asked if he needed a break and he shouted that he did not. Finally, an assistant manager was free and came over to help us. Overall, Nicholas was hostile, threatening, unkind, and unhelpful. If I owned a business, I would not want him representing it. I don’t believe there is any amount of training that could allow him to be a courteous agent of customer service. I have rented a storage unit from U-Haul before, but this will be the last time I do business with your organization because our experience was so horrible. thank you for allowing me to leave feedback.

Adam S | Overall ExperienceA significant number of the storage units all flooded recently. I did get money from insurance to cover my water-damaged items, but Uhaul refused to refund me for the month of storage I did not even get to use. I have tried calling and they give me the run-around.

Was on and off hold with service for an hour and a half and still have not received payment back after 2 days of phone calls.
customer u | Online Move InThe guys at the Glenstone location were very helpful and professional. They were busy with other people but they got to me when they should have. Professional knowledgeable and a top notch facility that I felt comfortable leaving my property. I think the truck has something going on it ran well but it vibrated at idle. The check engine light is not on and it ran well other than the rough idle.
