the lights in the hallway where my unit never seemed to be working when I was there making it difficult to see inside the unit without having to use a flashlight. Other than that issue my experience was pleasant.
Kristina H. | Overall ExperienceThe move-in back in December didn't go well at all, so I don't have a good experience then. The move-out was fine. The bathroom is filthy. Every time I've been there - probably 8 times since December and the bathroom is always disgusting. The sink and toilet, and floors are dirty. Obviously not cleaned very frequently if at all.
Cheryl W. | Overall ExperienceI loved UHaul when I put my stuff in storage three years ago. Now I Would Never Recommend Them!!! I got a Ton of Overdraft Fees... After I'd Gone On A the App in Advance To Notify Them Of The Move Out Date, After I Had Paid Them For a UHaul Truck, After I Had Returned Their UHaul Truck, and After I Had Gone On the App A Million Times To Upload The Pics Of The Empty Storage Unit, and After I'd Spoke With Stephanie at the UHaul Call Center Because The App Wasn't Working For Days and Nobody Ever Answers Their UHaul Phone!!!!!! She Manually Went Into The Employee Portal and Emailed That Specific Store About Their UHaul App Not Working and Notified Them Because I'm Disabled and Don't Drive, And She Manually Deleted My ATM Card Information and Stephanie Told Me That Way If They Didn't Get To It For A Week or Two Then There Was No Possible Way They Could Have Access To My Card and Charge Me, In Fact They Owe Me A Refund For All The Days I Had Already Paid For In July Due To The Fact That I Overpaid UHaul!!!
Angela T. | Overall ExperienceThe loading bay was FILLED with garbage. I mean FILLED. Couldn’t open the second door into the unit so have to haul stuff fitting only through the door with the lock. Could barely open it all the way with the garbage behind the door. The unit numbers were not clear at all. No signs pointing to which way to go per your unit number. There was a rat poison trap in my unit which was not a good sign. All the lights were off in the hallway on the upper split level and it was pitch black dark. I had to use my flashlight on someone else’s door to even see my unit. The signs to even get into the unit for the first time weren’t clear. It didn’t tell me on the app which security system to use and which was to first alert the security system I was there and then the one for the actual garage door to open up to the docking station.
Payton A. | Online Move InRented a unit for 2 years and never had a single complaint about it. Definitely recommend them for storage and also easy truck and equipment rentals. I should add, its air conditioned/heated! We moved everything from unit to truck inside the a/c. We also made use of all the free to use dollys and carts. They really make self moving an easier experience.

I was not told the hours for access. And I try not to make recommendations to others for anything.

You have the special to get you to move in, but no break for long time customers I give you a 1 on that. Has to do with another facility I have with you with that.

ANDREA S. | First ImpressionsI've had continual problems with U-Haul from Cathedral City, Moving Help, U-Box customer service, and this location. On 12/8 I called to give 24 hours notice that I'd be there w/ movers to unload my 3 U-boxes. I asked that the boxes be dropped next to the storage unit so easy to unload. I was told that they would be ready, no problem. On 12/9 we arrived on time, and were told that no one there could move the U-Boxes to the storage unit, and 2 of the U-boxes were facing inward w/ no access to the doors. We spent 45 min moving items across the snowy, icy parking lot from 1 U-box to storage. It was slippery and dangerous. I complained again about the lack of communication and that I would've scheduled the movers to a time when the U-boxes would be at the unit. Finally, someone managed to get permission to move the other 2 U-boxes to the storage unit, and we were able to unload both boxes within 45 minutes. Today, 12/16, I received 2 email notifications that I was charged $108.85 for 2 of the U-Boxes monthly storage fees, even though the boxes were emptied and returned on 12/9. I've made 3 phone calls today. The unauthorized charges to my card are pending. Someone will supposedly get back to me within 72 hours. Yet one more screw up by U-Haul in the never ending saga of screw-ups. I regret even getting the storage unit now. I should've just moved it all out of any place owned by U-Haul.
