Received charge of $30.49 on our debit card 5 days after returning the trailer. 2 people helped me on Tuesday June 1, 2021 when I returned the trailer they told me everything was good, there were no extra charges, they seemed friendly and helpful. Then I was charged for an extra day 5 days later. I spent 45 minutes waiting to speak with someone to find out what the charge was, only to be told that I returned the trailer on Wednesday the 2nd. I explaned that was not possible, as I had taken Tuesday off work which was when I returned the trailer, not Wednesday when I was at work an hour and a half away. To which they finally relented and said they would reverse the charge, which has not happened yet. Having the customer sign and date at check in would help in situations like this, as well as an electronic date stamp with an email or text notification to the customer.Brian E.

Was busy on Wednesday the 26th when I picked up the truck. Was given the truck and go, had 3/4 tank, wasn't full. When I dropped it off on Sunday the 30th I filled it up, took $25 dollars cause of the size of the tank. Only discount I received back was for the half of miles used. I put down for 20 miles total and only used 10 miles all together.ADAM H.

IÂ´m assuming u-haul must be franchised or this particular locationÂ´s management is extremely poor. i would never refer this location to anyone, they are lazy, rude, and are so disorganized that they have no idea whats going on. We extended our reservation every morning till we were through with it, only to receive a call from an employee claiming that we stole it and were going to be reported. my wife then spent 4+ hours on the phone till we were told it was all taken care of and to have it back Monday by 1230. That evening they repossessed it with our belongings and my wallet in it, creating a huge shit storm for us on our final day of moving. Have a manager who will show up to work on time. It was a mess but luckily the temp there knew how to handle a group of customers professionally. Took awhile to find the key to the truck I rented and was almost out of my reservation if I didn't push to find it. Also this location is listed as a â€œtruck 24/7â€ but when I showed up at 6am originally it told me to come back at 9am when they opened.. this slowed my day down considerably.ZACKERY K.
I had one problem. I was told to fill up the tank before I brought it back which I did. It cost me $26. I went a total of 9 miles. Even though the gauge showed full it wasn't. I mentioned this to the employee checking me out. She said people occasionally don't fill it up and they don't check. I think you need to start checking. First of all I was told there was a half a tank a gas in the 26 foot U-Haul when I got in and examined it myself which no one bothered to come out and help me I just assumed that the gas gauge was broken because the lady inside Lisa the manager said there was a half a tank of gas so we loaded the U-Haul and broke down 7 miles out of Spokane sat on the side of the road for two hours while we waited for the manager to bring us gas it was an error of U-Haul not double checking she told me that their gasket safe and all the time with that being in mind I feel like they should be checking the trucks before each person leaves. When I returned the truck IStood in line for 17 minutes before anyone could help me they had the nerve to try to charge me for two days because apparently it was my fault that I had to stand in line for 17 minutes which I think is complete bullshit then the man at the service desk told me that they would be crediting the $70 worth of gas I had to put in before I left headed back to U-Haul to return the truck. When I called they did not even eat bother to email me a receipt so I had to call and request one and she did not send me the receipt but told me over the phone Cassidy was her name told me over the phone that their manager Lisa said that they could not do refunds on gas which I was already told they were going to because Lisa I had told Julie to return the truck on empty I feel like there was a huge lack of communication and U-Haul does not keep their promises like they say on their recording. I will never be going back to this location for U-Haul again or an I will not be recommending it to any of my relatives or friends very bad experience!!!!!!!!JOY H.

I appreciate that we were ultimately able to pick up our trailer at our preferred location, but find it frustrating that until 5 days before (when I called to check), we were picking up at a facility 40 minutes away. I shouldn't have to call to see if something is closer and I shouldn't have to have the stress of wondering where I'll pick it up.Eric B.

My whole experience with Uhaul was not pleasant at all. I reserved a 20 foot truck to pick up at 7:00am. I arrived at the pickup location at 6:45. When I went to the online site to do the 24/7 pickup, it told me to come back when they open at 9:00. I chose pickup at 7:00 as I was moving. I was given 1 week to get everything moved due to a fire at my apartment. So, i had to switch my truck to a 10 foot truck in order to pick it up at 7:00. Due to that switch, i did not receive the 2 dollies that I had requested on my reservation. I called 3 times and was assured I would not be charged for them. When I returned the Uhaul, the location was still open. So, the associate took the keys and said I didn't need to do anything more. 2 hours later, and the uhaul was still showing that I had it out on reservation. The associate never checked it back in. So, I had to call again... Again, I was assured that it would be checked in and I would NOT be charged for the dollies. Then I receive my bill, and, big surprise.... I was charged for the dollies.. This move with the 10 foot truck caused me to have to make 2 trips to the storage unit, which had I been able to use the 20 foot truck that i had reserved, it could have been done in one. But, I still had to pay for all the mileage even though this was uhauls fault. I will be having to move my stuff again as soon as I can find a place to live. The whole situation with the fire in my neighbors apartment and me being given one week to move and then not being able to find a place due to covid has not been fun. My experience provided by uhaul didn't help. Lastly, that will be the first and last time I ever use Uhaul and will encourage all my friends/family to use a different company.Cori D.
The young man at the Spokane location was fantastic. He literally went above and beyond. However, my rental was to be picked up in another location 1.5 hours away. I was very upset that the day prior I was told of this. The representative informed me that I signed an agreement stating I would receive a call the day prior to go over options. Well, in our opinion, picking up from another location wasn't an appropriate option. The emails I received leading up to my rental mentioned nothing about non availability at my reserved location. Seems very subversive. We were not impressed. I was pleased however, that the original location was able to get me the unit I needed a day early for no extra charge which prevented me from having to drive a total of 3 additional hours. Despite the good service I received, I will likely choose a UHaul competitor next time I have a need.PAUL K.
This review is more for management than the poor employee that was stuck in the store alone on a Saturday. We were scheduled to pick up a truck on Saturday morning and upon arrival we noticed 1 employee helping a customer. There were a few customers wandering around the store and within minutes of getting in line, there were several more people that filed in behind us. After about 10 minutes of waiting, a manager casually comes downstairs and offers to assist. Several customers are complaining about the wait at this point. We take the truck and get our move done. When returning the vehicle the same day, I entered the store and see 1 customer waiting at the counter, but no employees. The customer and I start to chat and he indicated he had been standing there for quite awhile. We finally see that the one employee is out helping a customer get propane. (this is the same employee from earlier that morning). I felt terrible for this poor man who was running the store alone, on quite possibly the busiest day of the week. He came inside and apologized. There were now 3 more customers in line behind me. The customer in front of me was there to pick up a truck and was then told it would be about 30 minutes before he could take it because it had not been washed and sanitized. From the time I entered the store that afternoon, until I was able to hand the keys to the employee, it was 30 MINUTES. That is unacceptable for a simple vehicle return. I felt especially bad for the customer in front of me who had been waiting just as long and was now being told he would have to wait longer to get his truck. Shame on management for only having 1 employee there to service the customers. And if he wasn't alone, it's even more ridiculous that no one came down from upstairs to help. We will definitely be utilizing another location or company in the future for our rental needs. Again, this review is not for the employee, he was doing the best he could. Perhaps management could schedule better so customers aren't waiting so long for simple services.LEIGH A.
