This was one of the most frustrating storage experiences I've ever had. It felt like every time we solved one problem, another one appeared. Moving is stressful enough without constantly running into preventable issues. Problems we experienced: - We couldn't check in when we arrived because the computer system wasn't working. There appeared to be only one employee trying to run the entire facility by himself. - One of the storage units we had been assigned was already occupied. Because of that, we ran out of room and couldn't finish unloading our truck. - Because of this, we now have to make another trip back to unload when we were supposed to be going back to our old house (hours away) to finish our house for closing. - We weren't given a lock for one of our units, even after informing the employee, so I had to stop what I was doing, leave the facility, and buy one myself. - The alarm was repeatedly going off throughout our time there, and no one ever responded. That did not give me much confidence that security issues would actually be addressed if something happened. - There were only three standard moving carts available for everyone using the facility, which meant multiple families had to wait and take turns moving a single cartload at a time. - Two of the doors were out of service, forcing everyone to use one entrance and creating an unnecessary bottleneck during an already difficult move. By the end of the day, what should have been a straightforward move took far longer than it should have because of one issue after another. The only positive part of the experience was the employee working that day. He was kind, professional, and clearly doing everything he could despite being put in an impossible situation. My frustration is with the condition and operation of the facility, not with him.

I used them throughout the United States as a service member and as civilian. U-Haul has kept pace with changing technologies WITHOUT loosing its CUSTOMER SERVICE ... especially this one in Moline, IL
DANIEL B | Overall ExperienceWe got a storage that was too small the lady advised us of good deals but not the right storage space we needed a 5x7 or 5x10 instead of a 5x5 so we had to stack a lot of s*** upwards either way the price was good and they gave us a free month so peace to U-Haul and we're happy with our service amen
