I would suggest lubricating the ratchet binders on 2 wheel car dolleys often to prevent rusting other than that everything was great. I believe the price could be lower on 2 wheel car dolleys $44.95 is steep for a 2 to 3 hours car move thats local. $29.99 would be fair, unless used for over 4 hours.

The Avenue of the Cities facility and trailer were excellent. I was totally disappointed in being sent to three different locations before getting the trailer I had ordered online 10 days earlier. Lost nearly 2 hours!

When someone reserves a truck using the 24/7 service, make sure the truck is actually available when it is supposed to be. And when no truck is available and you have to pay the $50 Reservation Guarantee to the customer, make sure it is paid within the window that you promised.

I rented a tow dolly which was all fine until it was time to undo the ratchet straps. Neither one would release when placed in the release position. Had to spray them with WD40 to get them to release. A little maintenance would make the renting experience top notch.

This was my first time reserving a uhaul online. Make sure they go over your online reservation and make sure you understand what you signed up for. I made an online reservation and requested the hours I needed the uhaul. However they didn't go over the mileage with me. I end up going over my miles which were 23 miles I did 39miles and that was $1.09 per mile I was over. Now why would i check 23 miles for 4 hours!! But they made sure to upsale me on the dolly. My point is make sure they're going over your reservation or you will probably end up paying $80.00 for a $19.99 uhaul truck like I did.

In regards to question 2... the pick-up truck had quite a bit of snow in the bed that I had to clear before I could load the items I needed moved. To be fair, it did snow last week...but it would've been nice to not have to shovel snow. If I had not brought a shovel to clear a path at my storage unit I would've had to buy one! The associate, Dan (I think was his name), was very nice and courteous.

Checking in the truck after use was particularly easy bcs employee was friendly and quick. When I first received truck, I did not understand that there was a requirement for self check in upon an after hours return. I’ve had problems with self check in via the web portal in past. I’m glad the employee told me about the requirement, but I would not want to be charged 20$ for a process that was difficult to accomplish.

I rented a 10 foot truck and went 9 miles. Darrin charged me for 36 miles, which was $12.00 of fuel. When I called to find out why he argued with me and then hung up on me. I called Uhaul and got it refunded. Unpleasant experience. Watch your actual fuel costs not your gauge when you return your truck because at an incline the gauge can fluctuate.

After the Bettendorf location dropped the ball literally 20 mins before pickup for my guaranteed equipment reservation I had to go to this location for a truck. They were great to work with and friendly.

Employee awful rude hung up on me made statements like she knew what happened at pick up when I told her I did not receive information. She was very automated rude insistant ! I would never do business at Moline Ave of cities location again and most likely not choose u haul again

The young man named Larry was very helpful. His customer service was 110%. The trailer itself was clean an pulled flawlessly down the road. I do have two big complaints about the trailer. The trailer had no way to lock it down to the hitch of my truck. The items in the trailer were of high value. While parked and away from my vehicle at any given time, anyone could’ve unhooked the trailer from my truck and could’ve taken the trailer with the high value property. Also, for the certain job that I was on, I was required to unhook from the trailer. I was unable due to there not being a dolly to drop the trailer temporarily. Hopefully these issues can be addressed so that I can do business again with uhaul.

I reserved a truck at 8 am. I received several confirmations and a text to pick up the truck at 8 am. The store did not open until 9 am so I had to come back and I had friends and family waiting to help move for over an hour. It’s extremely inconvenient that only certain sizes of trucks are one way. The size of truck I needed was only a two way truck. After moving all day, the last thing that I wanted to do is drive two more hours to return the truck, pay $60 in extra gas, and $50 in extra mileage that could have been avoided. Very bad business. Will not be using this company again and will not be recommending.

Computer issues with rental. But staff was great, the gentleman that received trailer back was kind and polite! Update computers to make your staffs life easier!

I was told I could drop off my transport trailer in white pigeon, mich. But then it was changed to Elkhart Indiana 45 min. out of my way...not happy with that!!

The trailer # on my contract was incorrect, so there was some confusion when I returned the 6x12 cargo trailer. No big deal but the rep needed to call his manager to figure out the correct billing. Otherwise this location is a lot easier to use than the one on Utica Ridge in Bettendorf, Iowa that I normally use.

The manager told my husband that no small vehicles were available. He could take the next size up. She said the price was 10.00$ more making it only 29.95$. He returned it only 4 hours later. We received the receipt the next day. We were charged not only more for the rental , but also for returning it after hours. If we returned it at 6pm and you close at 7 then obviously that's not after hours. The day prior we rented your largest truck and went twice as far and both charges are the same. Not happy with my experience.

This was the least organized and worst experience I have ever had with any business. Lack of communication and poor planning has RUINED my thoughts of the U-Haul brand. It would take a miracle for me to ever use U-Haul again.

The facility was old but I understand you are building a new one. The trailer was old and dirty. I rented from your Rock Island location 2 weeks ago and the facility and trailer were very nice. The quantity of trailers needs to be increased at the 2 locations as well.
