Benjamin F | Overall ExperienceThe storage unit 0009 was auctioned in September without proper notification. My attempts to reach the location manager Yesica or anyone else at the Uhaul location- Pleasant Hill was unsuccessful. I received a call/vm the DAY OF THE AUCTION, I attempted to contact management, I called Uhaul customer service and they were not able to reach the location manager to assist me in rectifying the past due balance. I previously share with one if the Uhaul reps I was waiting for Short Term Disability to pay the balance. Prior to having surgery and actively working, I was on auto pay and didn’t miss a payment. I had my birth certificate, and my adult son’s birth certificates and personal items with my personal information that is now compromised. I requested to get my personal items ( of no value) college diploma ( which I received), sorority items ( Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc), I received one shirt and a bag, I requested my family pics - did not receive. This situation has been extremely traumatic. My personal items/ storage unit should not have not been auctioned off without properly extending the opportunity for me to pay the balance or take my things out the storage. I have used this storage unit before in the past, and proper protocol was followed, but not in this instance. My personal identity is compromised, as well as my adult children and that is not fair nor legal. I have communicated with Douglas Weston via email for assistance. I have reached out to multiple managers prior to be connected with Mr. Weston. I have not spoken verbally with Mr. Weston, only via email. I spoke with Yesica, on 10-8 regarding requesting the person which purchased my unit to return any of my personal items. I offered to come “dig through” any rubbish to find my items ( family pics, documents, sorority items, college books). Nanette McGhee 904-536-3900 I emailed Mr. Weston the mailed certified notice was received October 4th. The storage unit was auctioned on 9-3-2024.

maria b | Overall ExperienceI recently used U-HAUL , and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The storage unit I rented had several issues that made it difficult to use: 1. Ant Infestation: There were ants in my unit, which made me concerned about the cleanliness and the safety of my belongings. 2. Poor Ventilation: The unit did not have adequate ventilation, which caused a musty atmosphere and made me worry about potential damage to my items. 3. Customer Service: When I reached out to address these issues, the customer service team was not helpful and failed to provide a satisfactory solution. 4. Never had full access to storage because card did not work. Overall, I was disappointed with both the facility conditions and the service. I would not recommend this storage facility unless they make significant improvements.

JEAN B | Overall ExperienceI had the worst experience ever in a storage bin. I was lied to and told that it was climate control and downstairs. It was 105° where my storage was. I also had live rats that I have a picture of that was stuck to the gate after rolling the gate up in the rack getting smashed on the gate was stuck from, his boy I took pictures. It was horrific they help me to get out of the storage, but they are still charging me $400 and I am going to fight it and report it to the top is the best of my ability so it was not a good experience it was the worst
