I appreciate being able to rent from U-Haul. They provided me the truck I needed. They are very professional. They had great staff that were helpful. The truck I received was clean. The only thing that wasn't perfect was I felt the truck needed service. There was a strong smell of gasoline when turned on. I am guessing some fuel was being lost during operation. (gas mileage was awful). The power steering squealed whenever you had more than a shallow turn and the door at the back was hard to push up and down. The first concern had me worried about safety. The other two were an annoyance. The person I returned it to noted all what I have presented here and made me feel that the previous returns hadn't reported anything. Hopefully, all will be fixed.Maynard H.

The initial van that I was given had the tire sensor on in the dash when I switched it on. I brought it to the old black lady's attention and she said that she wanted to get the tire checked out before she would do anything about it. I believe that the van should have been properly check prior to me renting it. I didn't appreciate them wasting my time. There were at least 7 other vans in the parking lot and it should NOT have been an issue to switch it out. Safety should be the first priority but these folks didn't care about that. They were very comfortable attempting to send me on the road with a tire issue. The young black lady with long hair tried to tell me that the tires were fine and it was just a bad tire sensor. If that's the case then fix the sensor so the customer won't feel like they are putting themselves in jeopardy. The right front tire appeared to have low pressure and low tread wear. I had to make a fuss about driving a vehicle with the tire sensor on before the young lady eventually decided to change out the vans. These folks need to stop being lazy and be reasonable in their decision making. SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY!!!EDDIE M.

From preparing my contract to hooking the trailer up to my truck, everyone working at this location were very professional and helpful , and honestly there is nothing that they could have done better . The box had broken glass in it, the cab was very clean. The air conditioning quit working on a day when it was needed. I was charged for 2 gallons of gas after I put 5 gallons in for a 40 mile freeway trip. The gas gauge on the truck does not measure to eighths (let alone 16ths like your app) and it is an unfair business practice to charge a customer without giving them a chance to challenge the charge.Thomas G.

This place doesn't have it together. Orderd a truck for 24/7 pick up a few days in advance and that truck was not available for 24/7 pick up as a result of this location in lawrenceville on pleasant hill road. Called the manager left a message and no call back. Wasted over an hour or paying hourly workers, could have been way worse because I could have booked for even earlier. They don't know what they are doing. Won't be back and neither will anyone I know.Anthony D.

My experience with UHaul is offer. The truck was very dirty and all responsible is on the customer and gasoline gauge wasn't the same as your associate indicated on documentation. As a result I had to take time to call UHaul and explain everything. What's the use of taking pictures and doing all the work & UHaul doesn't view information. The totals are incorrect! The person that stated that they would check me out tomorrow actually check me out today he said that he would charge me for one day and on my receipt I noticed that I'm charged for two days one day for 3995 on the other day for 59 which is all incorrect I'm concerned that they have no integrity to say that they would do something and then do something different this does not sit well with me please call me to complete my rental and to get the amounts straight. Account myself a very flexible person. U-Haul store owner yessica. At U-Haul on Pleasant Hill in Lawrenceville is an awful communicator. However way she feels is how she will respond. The people that work there have poor communication and slow resolve. That facility has one job selling unit on Locker unit. This facility have taken locks off of my unit without my permission and try to charge me for new ones .. They have locked my unit on several occasions because they made a mistake and payments were complete. They would never unlock the unit in a convenient time frame from the facility error. I've always had to call customer service or home office for them to respond. I should not have to go to social media for a business to do the right thing no one should. The last and final incident they sold all of my items within 8 hours of me making Financial arrangements with the store owner and customer service and all of my items were gone. That's the worst feeling in the world to know that you trust a company to hold something. you trust a person at their word that they're going to follow through in the communication is broken down there's poor follow through. it's unacceptable I sent the email to the regional manager David Weston with no response to date . I moved out of the facility on February the 8th not February the 15th I was not giving such a grace. I was not given such a time to resolve any matters and then I'm receiving a bill saying I owe $400 Plus dollars which will never get paid because my items are missing I need $500 to restore my quality of life. This is unacceptable I would never recommend uhaul to a soul anyone talks about uHaul and their prices and their community in Georgia I will always always have a negative taste in my mouth on my Twitter Facebook tiktok Instagram I'm disappointed. This is not how you do business especially when you monopolize the entire Market of storage. Coming from Michigan I would never expect of such poor handling of its clients customers and responses. Your word is all that you have in your word is not good at all. untrustworthy I am not confident that you haul can handle any valid business without having to go five extra steps to get results why why is that acceptable why? Money cannot replace half of my items in the part that money can replace should not have been an issue. My unit should not have been sold my unit none of my items should not have been touched I have a text thread that shows the correspondence and the times that I talk to the store manager which assured me that we would have no incident. The things that were brought back stating that they were mine were not mine. I'm in a new state distraught with nothing and you guys go on with your regularizer lives oh it's not my problem it's unacceptable and I will keep putting in complaints until I get a resolved this will not go away.Lacasa G. | Overall Experience

I arrived to my storage after 3yrs of paying monthly on it and I went to use the key of the lock. I purchase back then and my storage had a totally different lock on it. The only problem I had with this location, was that there was never staff inside to greet the guest. The 2 times I went I had to wait in the lobby until somebody came inside, or I had to go get one of the staff outside for help. I am very disappointed, in my final paper work , being accused of not replacing gas in a 26 footer truck... paper work indicated I drove 28 Miles... I replaced that gas , and paperwork indicated they added 8 gallon more at $5.45 saying this was what I did not replace... When a 26 footer gets 10 miles to the gallon... The staff at Pleasant Hill was terrible. No social kills. The store is being ran by a bunch of young kids that could care less. I made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance and I didn't get none of what was promised. I was told my storage wasn't 1st floor access, it wasn't climate controlled, I did not earn the 1st month free, I did not get a lock free. Whoever you had working Sunday 1/23 were not knowledgeable of the info being promised online. They were all very unprofessional and condescending. If I wasn't moving my moms things and needed the storage right then I would have left. I'm very very very disappointed and unsatisfied.
