Uhaul promised that I could pickup the vehicle using my cell phone app but when I got to the location they said I needed to go inside to sign up and get the keys. When I returned the vehicle, an attendant who was outside the office told me to park it near to where she stood and that she would wait for me there to receive the vehicle. It took me one minute to park there but when I exited the vehicle she was nowhere to be found. I waited around for five minutes and she never returned so I went into the office. Not surprising since while I was standing in line in the office. I was the second person in line. While the person in front of me was filling out forms, I could see the sole attendant chatting away on the phone with what appeared, from the nature of her conversation, to be her friend. I put the keys in the drop box and drove away. Tried to call them to explain that I had put the keys in the drop box because I was short on time. Could not reach location staff on the phone. On hold for over fifteen minutes. Drove all the way home while listening to inane Uhaul voicemail messages. Uhaul wasted so much of my time that I hung up in discuss. Received a receipt chargingme 5.85 for gas dispite the faxt that I drove 15KM, put in 4.5L of gas and returned the vehicle with more gas than when I took it out. Spent another twenty minutes trying to speak to a customer service person. Eventually called Uhaul HQ and spoke to someone who promised to resolve the issue. I emailed a copy of the gas receipt to her. Haven't yet heard from Uhaul. Perhaps you don't really need my business.

UHAUL honestly has amazing products. The packing materials, selection of moving supplies and variety of trucks to rent are second to none. However their service is always awful, whether it's the booking process or in store customer service. And yet I keep coming back because of the products. For example, I go to rent these plastic moving boxes at the store location. They tell me I can only book online. So I attempt to use my phone to book them while standing in the store. My phone only lets me book for 1 week even though I need them for longer. So I end up calling customer service to extend it. Meanwhile no one tells me that extending 2 days means I pay a full extra week. So there are surprise fees at the end. And still meanwhile no one in the actual store location has a clue or is helpful at all. And yes, the boxes were filthy and had belongings from the previous renter still inside. One box had stuffed toys, one was full of salt and spices, and all still had tape and labels and were dirty. Nasty. Despite all that, yeah, sorry to say I will keep coming back to UHAUL because I love their moving and packing products. But I do pray every day that a competitor realizes how easy it would be to take over the market and does.

Maybe have parking for customers and also I'm disappointed with the service as I booked a van in advance on the website where they said it is available. I then got a call and thus had to use more kms and pay a higher price.
Good experience! The issue was that when I was called to confirm my rental I asked what way the 4 wheel dolly rental would work if I was picking up outside of opening hours and doing an online checkin/pickup (Sunday 31st @ 7:30am). The lady told me that they would be open at 7:30am and the dolly is first come first served and I would be given the dolly upon arrival. When I arrived the store was closed, which wasn't a huge unconvinced as I was able to do the online checkin. When we checked there was only a 2 wheel dolly in the back of the truck.. this was the main inconvenience as we really needed the 4 wheel dolly for our move. Been misinformed about the opening ours and incorrect dolly caused us to lose some time but overall it worked out. Great truck, location and friendly staff at drop off.
Although I did mobile check in there wasn't an easy way to â€œskip the lineâ€ which made pick up take over 30 minutes! I returned the vehicle with just minutes to spare on my booking. This needs to be more clear. The mobile app experience wasn't working a lot of the time which delayed process.
The person at the reception is not accomodating to customers needs and refused to give us truck when we said we would want to return to a different location as there location would loose a truck and it would cost us 300-400$ more if we return to other location. This location was 40kms away that's why we wanted to return to a closer location
There was no air in one tire and when I asked where I could get it filled I got some attitude from some of the staff. The windows and mirrors were so dirty I couldn't see out of them had to ask for a cloth and clean it my self. I was expecting a clean and ready to truck but instead spent more than an hour finalizing my truck. Horrible experience.
The man by the name of sunny or sonny provided excellent service and exceeded my expectations in terms of customer service. Will be coming back again soon!
