I was overcharged and called U Haul to advise of the mistake. The woman I spoke with said she would have that location contact me. No one has I contacted me to date (12 days). The error is only $10.00; however, due to the fact that no one has contacted me I will not use U Haul again and have already cancelled two future bookings. I will encourage people I know and even people I don’t know to book with any other rental company.

There used to be options in the area to pick up the vehicles closer to our home location. Minor complaint but that was a nice benefit.

I’d say it would be hard to improve on the service I received. I picked up the trailer on Sunday morning and dropped it off this afternoon. The same lass looked after me both times. And she remembered me. I don’t know what you are paying her but she deserves a raise.

Line ups, confusion, extra charges, congested parking lot. Wait in line to be told just go, they'll charge your credit card (whatever they want) and send you an email. Fine Wash my hands of the horrible experience and cut my losses. I feel used and abused. No one should have to be terrified trusting such a big company. Then add insult to injury and they want to just charge my card whatever they want. Very unfair. I know I'm not the only one feeling this way. The girls at the office told me a bunch of break lines had be cut on all their trailers... . And moving Vans! So be careful you poor suckers.

Truck exterior was not clean. Inside was clean. Gas tank was a little less than half full. Attendant had to be asked to show me how to operate the truck. He handed me the keys and then walked off. No one mentioned to me that I would have to stop at the pay toll change entrance due to there being extra toll charges. I ended up getting in trouble at the bridge toll both for attempting to drive the truck through the regular pay entrance. Booking the truck, dealing with the girl who took my payment and dropping off the truck all went well.

It is a long drive to pick up and return the trucks there when there are other locations in the city. I asked about dropping off somewhere else, and they said all pickups and returns go to this main location. Customer service was great, prices were ok, but having to drive an extra 2 hours there and back twice in a day is quite frustrating.

Only thing I did not like was asking for a second name to contact for the rental. I am renting it and no one else should be bothered with this.

Ensure the customer is not overcharged or provide a more convenient reimbursement for said overcharge instead of issuing a paper cheque that takes 3-4 weeks to send

First trailer had NO working lights, second trailer two lights failed en route and the trailer had half of its D-rings inside ripped out meaning I had no way to secure my load in the trailer.

I have been dealing with U Haul for over 25 years, and I must say I have never had a good experience.....I recently rented a cube van which I reserved on line, only to be disappointed once more... First of all, I only wanted a 16 foot cube van (Anything bigger won't fit in my driveway) When I arrived at U Haul I was informed I was getting a 20 foot truck because there was no 16 footers available. But there was when I made my reservation? And sure, they offered it to me for the same price, but that does not make up for the extra gas this beast will cost when I am driving 250 km, Does it? And if this was the only time this had happened I would understand. We all make mistakes, but this happened last time I rented a cube van....and the time before that. Then when I went to use my credit card, they said they couldn't accept it. But it was the same credit card I used to reserve it on line? They explained that the machines they have are American and if your card has a cashback option, it won't work....but it was acceptable on line. Luckily, I had another credit card, or I would have been screwed.Ever think about posting this information on your website? After finishing my move, (Stuck out halfway in the street because I did not have a 16 foot van) I returned it, where I was informed there would be a two dollar and ninety cent charge for going 2 km over. I wouldn't have a problem with that....if it hadn't cost me 15 extra dollars in gas to drive a 20 footer. Maybe you should have offered me a free roll of packing tape or something? Any company that cared would. I know I would be ashamed to ask for another cent. I am sick of being nickled and dimed. I am tired of being given the run around and being told, "Well, that's our policy." After 25 years of using U Haul...I realized they are the ones using me. I would like to tell them all where to stick their 20 footer...

I showed up an 50 minutes early to my reservation, the parking lot was full of vehicles in the range of what I had ordered. I was asked to wait until my reservation before I could get a vehicle. I returned 30 minutes later to find the same vehicles in the parking lot, but I spoke with another agent. The second agent got me all set up and on my way.. left me to believe that the first agent could have tried to figure something out. My biggest complaint would be that there was a fee that was applied to my final bill that the agent couldn't explain. She seemed under-trained and somewhat apathetic to my concern. Most of the staff were really pleasant

The back sliding door was very difficult to close. Problem with the counterweight? I reserved a 15ft truck a month ago. At the last minute, they call me to suggest to replace it by 26ft truck. I had to wait an hour on the phone to be able to change from 26 ft to 20ft truck to be picked up at 7am the next morning rather than 4pm the day before which would have been more convenient. The service need to be improved, specially the waiting on the phone to have someone answer is not acceptable.

my problem is When I got in the truck I noticed immediately there was no gas which was fine so I drove to the gas station immediately I then continued on to do my move once I got back to the drop off location I was charged $80.13 for gas that I already put in and paid for so then I paid for it twice but here’s the real kicker the gas it’s self was only $36.16 there was a $30 fill up fee .... so I was already pissed off to begin with that there was no gas in the truck and I had to first drive to get gas then you guys charge me for gas a second time and this crazy fill up fee .. extremely unprofessional I was very very disappointed… Not to mention when I went to the drop off location which was on windmill Road in Dartmouth the girl at the counter was extremely rude to me the guy who did the inspection forgot to even write down the kilometres or the gas… At which time they said the truck was already taken to the field… Then some girl said she would go up and get the pictures and send them to the other girl who was at the counter through Snapchat we waited for 25 minutes for these pictures to come through on Snapchat which again is highly unprofessional they never ended up coming in because After all that time past they said there must not be Wi-Fi on the hill another employee said they probably wouldn’t even be able to get an accurate gas reading because the truck was parked on a hill… I believe I was ripped off and I would really like that portion of my bill back it’s not fair and it’s very highly unprofessional… Also I was promised a one month free storage coupon which I asked for three times but I was so modelled by the time I left I didn’t even realize she didn’t give it to me until I was home. Please do the right thing and rectify this issue.

very slow service I missed a connection because of the slow service, therefore I had to keep the trailer for an extra day. I called your customer service about this but they wouldn't help me.
