I did not see if there was signs that inform customers but letting customers know that customer parking is in the back of the building would be helpful. If there was a sign then of course disregard.Kelly F.

When I made my reservation over the phone, I was quoted 29.95 for a 15 foot truck for a daily rental. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED if there were ANY OTHER CHARGES, and I was told NO. Upon arrival, I see there was a sign taped to the counter that explained the $100.00 hold on my account for the rental. NOT INFORMED ON THE PHONE. But, the charge that upset me was the .79 PER MILE, ALSO NOT INFORMED ON THE PHONE. I rented the truck because I needed it for that day. I have used u haul before with complete satisfaction. I am not happy that I was surprised with the mileage charge, and feel that should have been part of the reservation conversation. Please look into refunding my mileage fee back to my card, as I feel I was baited with this transaction. I understand having to make some money on a rental somehow, but the agents needed to be through when securing the reservation. I would appreciate a refund on my mileage, so as to do further business with this location. Thank YouPamela K.

Install a third "drop-down" wheel or stand on the tongue of all trailers so a trailer can be detached whenever necessary. I am unsure how it is even legal to not have a 3rd wheel/stand on trailers. What am I supposed to do if the trailer is full and I need to detach it, am I supposed to unload all the contents first?. I can't think of any trailers I have seen in recent memory that don't have a 3rd wheel.ERIC P.
Just let them know parking is around the back and it's a one way street. My gps took me to the front entrance of the store and I had to cut through the truck parking. Only a navigational error to let others know.Kelly M.

I was assisted by Josh and he was pleasant and helpful. The truck's check engine light was on. I mentioned that and was told it just needed an oil change. The truck shouldn't be allowed to go out with the check engine light on. After we had loaded the truck halfway, we found out there was not a ramp. I called Josh and was told he would take some money off the mileage. Apparently 10' trucks don't even have a ramp. I should have been told this upfront. The driver's sideview mirror did not work correctly. I adjusted it when I got in the truck. After I had driven away the mirror popped back into it's orignal location. I tried to fix it a couple of times but it popped back each time. When I returned the truck an employee outside took the keys. I told him about the sideview mirror. He said "you should have had someone fix it before you left." I said, "I didn't know it was broken until I was down the road." He repeated that I should have had someone fix it before I left 3 more times, each with me responding that I didn't know it was broken before I left. He was rude and impertinent. I am a customer and I have choices. All customers should be treated as if they rented the Uhaul b/c they are moving all their Mother's belongings out of her last home b/c that was what I was doing. I certainly didn't feel I was being listened to.bonnie R.
Reserved equipment was not there, 4 other people in line all had the same problem. Uhaul accepting and confirming reservations for more equipment than is available. Horrible business plan. The last time this happened we got our unit 8 hours late for a one way rental 300 miles away. The unit I received this weekend still had construction debris and nails and screws all over the trailer floor.donald N.
Wrong equipment given. Treated poorly by staff. Staff didn't wasn't following procedure which led to the issue that caused. So much stress for 80$ yeah I'll be telling everyone to just find someone with a truck. This was the WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD WHILE MOVING. and calling customer service for a 49 minute wait time and for the reps to hang up on me multiple times. Special mention to Bob who hung up on me as a service rep. Yeah 109% shit surprised you still have business. I work in quality control and just the level of quality was abhorrentTawnee A.
The helper who attended to me outside at Tejon location was great. Inside service at Tejon location was in need of improvement, ( he gave me the impression that he couldn't care less about my business). Also the man who got my reservation on Fountain Blvd was outstanding. I believe his name was Ronnie. Tejon gets 1 out of 5 Fountain gets 5 out of 5Brian W.
