Manager Jacob was fantastic every time I stopped at the store for boxes, to get a Uhaul and to answer questions regarding storage. Very friendly, professional, and responsive. On move in day Dylan helped us. While Dylan was nice and I understand it was only his 2nd time moving someone into storage, we were paying movers siding check in (I should have come earlier, I know) and I felt like he was a lot slower than necessary, on 2 occassions I was in the store both while there was a long line. Unprofessional chomping on gum and paying more attention to what his coworkers were talking about than the customer sitting in front of him. I'd like to make a suggestion for check out. If it's feasible, it would be nice to have separate lines for supply checkouts, key drop offs etc vs setting up for U-Haul vehicles/storage. To have people waiting in line for 45 minutes to purchase a few packing supplies isn't ideal.

Jill K. | Overall ExperienceI used a Uhaul truck to move my 2 bedroom apartment into Uhauls storage units until my new apartment was ready. The storage units and building was always clean and easily accessible. Their cleaning person I encountered was nice, considerate, and did a thorough job. She took pride in her work. I even got a phone call from the Uhaul team when my padlock was not on the door correctly. They were concerned my storage locker was not secure. I came back to Uhaul and they showed me how to lock my storage unit to make it more secure. All of my experiences with the Uhaul team were outstanding. The owner has a great team here. I highly recommend the Waukesha Uhaul location near Les Paul parkway & 164.
Linda L. | Overall ExperienceTruck rental was a little challenging. Older vehicle & know for direction of heat flow was broken (hidden as knob was still on) so couldn't change to defrost only main vents. Wouldn't turn. That is the only issue, all else was great
JARED T. | First ImpressionsOne of the employees (name purposefully removed) was either new or didn't care when renting the storage unit out. I requested a unit and said that i had a U-Haul truck. I knew from the website that I should get the first month free however when asked the U-Haul employee said that wasn't true. In an effort to not argue I let it go. They proceeded with getting the unit set up, didn't ask me to sign for the rentals agreement, if I needed a second key, what insurance to use (theirs or homeowners), and failed fully check out that unit from the system. After trying the key at the door it didn't pop up with anything but we assumed that was normal for the location and opened the door to the unit. Instead the alarm went off both when it was opened it and closed. Nobody came to check and make sure anything was being stolen. Moral of the story is the U-Haul employee that isn't well trained may cause you more issues than you expect. Thank goodness there was a second person on shift. They knew exactly what the other did wrong, what the storage area hours were and after an additional 30 minute wait, we able to get my unit figured out.

They all deserve raises, promotions and high praise. They are an outstanding reflection of the U-Haul name.

When the first employee who set up our reservation changed the date at our request, she didn't do it correctly, but i caught the error and was able to fix it with a simple phone call. The Employees i dealt with were friendly, and so far (with follow-up), things seem to be fine.

Actually went above and beyond as it were helping make it go as smoothly as possible. Milwaukee never confirmed my U box even arrived at their site. Vancouver WA staff made it difficult even after being told to ship the ubox, it turned out that I only needed 1 instead of two.
