First and foremost I would like to thank God for sending me to this location 3 years ago. Adam you and your staff are blessing. The staff is amazing and they thrive to give the best service. I appreciate you all working with me. I really appreciate what you all have done for me and my family. I definitely would recommend the location in West Seattle on 35th. I called this location repeatedly I nearly every single time I was routed to your call center. Which was fine unless I needed something specific from the location. I left many messages for the manager of the location to contact me and he absolutely never did. I'm disabled and so I had my driver/mover do most of the hauling and retrieval. However, I often needed to speak to the manager and was never able to. When I did speak to someone at the front desk they were helpful but they had limitations in what they could and could not do. What most frustrated me is that nearly every location in the area give some sort of special I had two units with you for over 6 months. I feel like I overpaid. Also when we first were estimating how much space I would need I described the amount of stuff in my apartment. Explained that there would be no bed no couch and no dining room table. There were a lot of boxes some chairs and small furnishings I took pictures and I walked through my apartment and described exactly what we needed to get into the unit and we were told that this unit originally that we were going to rent would definitely be large enough probably too big. Instead it was too small the next unit that we were given was not much bigger and my driver and his helpers had to move things upstairs into another unit and still needed the other unit for my stuff. I've never had that problem at any other storage facility. I had to pay my driver and his helpers more because of the time it took them to move everything around. You need to have some of your marketing people rent with Extra Space Storage to see their experience because it is Miles beyond what you offer their customer service is unbelievable I've had people call me back no matter what I asked for and they work with me very diligently. I must also mention that I understand that you want people to use your app but you push it way too far and you make it impossible to rent without using your app which can be frustrating. I realized that the only special you give is one that combines a truck with the storage but you need to come up with another special just for your storage. Overall I cannot recommend you to anyone I know in the area compared to my experiences with extra space.

The lighting outside the storage unit is good but why isn't there any motion detector lighting inside the units? I was moving a load of boxes onto one of your carts. Aidan (I'm not sure that's his name but he's very young) came over to me to ask if I needed help. I thought that was very nice of him.

Jefferson A | Overall ExperienceFirst, I would like to thank Adam for helping me deal with my unit issue. My Unit was broken into twice. The first time it happened, I made to formal manager to install a camera where my unit was. That did not happen. I went on a year deployment with the Army and when I got back to check on my unit, I found out that it has been broken into again. So, I went ahead and look for another company that would actually care for their costumers belonging.
Walter R | Overall ExperienceI emptied my storage unit March 30 and went to close out and was told I was already billed for April and there was no refund. This is bad customer service. If there's still a way to refund me, I'd like that please. There was often garbage in the hallways by the bay door that would sit there for weeks. The front desk wait times were often greater than 10 minutes, which was tedious when you're trying to get something basic, like a bay door key.
JACK M | Overall ExperienceIt took me three times to close my storage rental. Moved out of unit February 14th (this text says I moved out March 20th). I contacted customer service at time of vacating. Was told it was done. March 1st i get message i owe for March, I call again & am told its done. Get email on intent to lein March 15. I call a third time, get Robert in customer service again, he was very nice, & again am told its taken care of. Will see. Was never able to contact uhaul on 35th, no answer & was sent to customer service each time. Everyone is short on help but this was frustrating. I'm hoping I don't get notified i still owe down the road. Until I moved out billing was fine & no problems.
