There was some sort of server issue in the morning and we waited in line for 2 hours. I do not blame the local employees at all, whom I thought handled everything the best that they could have. The fact that in two hours of being on hold with Uhaul tech support that nobody answered on a Saturday, one of the busiest moving days is sad. The employees working that morning deserve kudos, but the process itself was incredibly frustrating for myself and probably 20-30 other people.

I ordered the truck and boxes on-line. Came in person a week early to confirm and ask that all be loaded into the truck by 8am on moving day as I was on a tight schedule with hired help. Counter Lady said she would send emails to the GM to get it done. Called the day before to extend my return time to 4pm and confirm message received about loading. 1. Truck was not loaded and had to wait an extra 30 minutes 2. Confirmed return would be 4pm. 3. Got a call at 3pm asking why the truck hadn't been returned yet. 4. Waited and waited at counter but never did go thru a check out process. Was told I could leave so I left without a receipt. It got emailed. This entire group is just not on top of their game but I do realize they were busy with lots of customers.

All interactions (with 3 different employees) were wonderful. As a health care professional, I was impressed and proud that they were doing such a good job with PPE and physical distancing. I would suggest making it a store/company policy to not come in without a mask. Given the nature of the lobby, it would be easy for customer to customer transfer. Stay safe.

I was told that the 5x8 trailer had been sanitized with foam. It had bits of field grass which had not been swept out. the floor was filthy when I wiped it down with a towel. NOT CLEANED AT ALL when I picked it up.

Mobile check in at this location doesn’t really work. Was hoping for no or low contact transaction, but ended up having to spend a fair bit of time in the office. Usually find that staff is under trained here and always have to wait for the one person who knows how to do something to be available

Although the service was friendly, it was not effective. When we went out to check our truck, none of the equipment we requested/paid for was in the truck. Due to a high demand on the date we arrived, it took another 30 minutes to leave the facility waiting on equipment. Not ideal when you're trying to move on a schedule.

I rented a truck for 4 hrs which would make my drop off time after hours. I was not informed there would be a $22 after hours fee. If I’d known I could have dropped off in the morning but then they’d probably charge me a late fee!!! Unethical and unfair business practices. I have 2 more moves this summer and was planning to use this location but not if this does not get resolved fairly.

The truck was not cleaned, It only had one emergency reflector. It also did not seem to have any service on the vehicle for some time. The vehicle broke down and did not have sufficient Transmission fluid. There were no leaks or fluid when parked. This was overlooked in Seattle. During pick up it felt very unprofessional.

I commented to the associate when I returned the truck, after driving it for 20 miles, that I had forgotten to add gas. She said nothing. I figured I’d get charged something like $4 per gallon, so no big deal. I got charged over $50 for the gas and fees. Would it have been so hard for her to let me know that if I didn’t take the truck down the street for gas that I’d be charged an arm and a leg??? This is absolutely unacceptable customer service.

Overall, this experience was by far the best I've had with Uhaul. Normally it is very painful, but having a good user experience online helped smooth things out - as well, the staff were more knowledgable and helpful than my past experiences.

The only hitch in the process was my reserved truck being in the back corner of the lot blocked in by a few other trucks. Onsite staff responded quickly to get me on my way.

I forgot the name of the employee who helped me. He was new and had another employee help him through the process. He was awesome. Helped me locate the vehicle I rented when he noticed me walking around the lot. Then when I came back to return the vehicle it was him again and he made the process really easy. I wish all my U-Haul experiences go this way.

Charged my card when I paid in cash and am now left with 20$ to my name. I wont even get the money back for up to 5 days. The people clearly dont know what they are doing. One set of people said yes you can pay in cash the other when I returned it told me they aren't accepting cash. Then the guy put in the wrong information on my receipt stating I got a huge sum of money back after paying with cash and I was like no, I got 2 dollars back. So I am so upset with them right now. Also the original location I was going to pick up from on vashon island took my reservation then closed and didnt let me know. Frustrated beyond belief

The trucks could be more clearly labeled on their exterior with their equipment ID so that identifying the rented equipment in the lot is easier.
