I unintentionally left allot of plastic sheeting in the back of the truck and was rightfully charged a $25 cleaning fee. Upon telling the (lady manager, on Friday morning, the 17th of January) my story that I had every intention of taking the plastic with me (but forgot to), she had the $25 fee reversed. The cargo trailer worked great! We took it to Cle Elum as we are in the process of moving. My wife rented it on Friday, 12/20, and returned in today, 12/23. When my wife rented the trailer on Friday, she was told by the clerk that the trailer would be due back by 3:30 on Monday, for a 3 day rental. Unfortunately, it took a little longer getting over the pass, so the trailer was returned around 3:45. We were disappointed to see on the checkout receipt that we were charged a whole extra day rate for just 15 minutes over. Is it possible to get credit for the extra day? We only had the trailer for 3 days, but we were charged for 4. We would like to continue renting from you in the future as we have many more trips to make out East. Thank you for your consideration. Staff at the location were helpful and friendly. Truck was available and clean. The web based after-hours self - return function never works for me. The tool says that it cannot recognize my location (even though it is turned on and available) and will not let me process return. Alas, I get charged an addition $20 + each time. Bummer!

Front cabin of vehicle had MULTIPLE USED OPEN HEROIN needles in between the driver and passenger seat on the floor and it made me feel disgusting to be inside the vehicle cab. I also prepaid for 6 blankets and those were never provided or remembered by staff before I left the rental location.

I walked in six weeks before I needed the truck and reserved a truck for a Sunday morning pickup. The agent behind the desk said I could pick up at 7:00am Sunday morning. The Saturday night before I was going to pick up the truck, I walked in again and spoke with a different agent. I said I was confirming the pickup for the next morning at 7am. He said "yeah, at 9." I replied "Wait, that's 7, right?" and he said "yeah." As I walked out the door, I though that was not a very firm confirmation, but I trusted both agents. Sunday morning, I showed up at 7am to find that Uhaul does not open until 9am on Sundays. Why was I not informed of this? I wasted two hours that morning, and it threw my entire day off. I will not be renting from Uhaul ever again. The only person who was any help at all at this location was Lexus, who helped my check my truck out (finally) at 9am.

Clean the van so I can see through the window. Removing the last renter's lunch might help as well. A working radio wouldn't hurt. Oh, and a summary receipt of all charges would be great if you could throw that in with the heap of other emails I've received

Staff did not explain after-hours drop off well. The guy said that, after I drop the truck off, remember to check the truck in on the phone through my uhaul account. He DID NOT explain that I'd need to take a photo of the dashboard as part of this process. I dropped the keys off, then went to check the truck in (which is the order in which he described the drop-off), only to discover that I couldn't complete the check in because I couldn't take the photo. The guy DID explain that it would be an extra $20 fee if I didn't check the truck in by phone. But... no problem, right? I'll just sort it out with a Uhaul staff member. I called a Uhaul call center that night, and they said there's nothing they could do except add a note to my contract. I'd have to take it up with the rental location. I went to the store when they opened, and the guy behind the counter basically said "tough luck" because the truck was already checked in and charged the $20 "convenience fee". I called the Uhaul call center again afterwards, and they said only the store could override that fee. They just chose not to. The rental was for 24 hrs. I picked it up at around 5:30 PM yesterday. If I had dropped the truck off this morning, they still would have had to do the SAME drop-off inspection, but I wouldn't have been charged $20. How does that make sense? I have been a loyal Uhaul customer for over a decade, renting trucks and storage units. After this, I don't think I'll be using Uhaul again.

Satisfied as usual, I always choose this location for a truck or van rental. I also always check the final bill in detail because mistakes can happen. This recent rental I found an over-charge of $25 due to the contract not getting updated based on last-minute discussion with the agent. The over-charge was corrected on the spot, no fuss and no issue.

They ran three of my credit cards multiple times and when the system was clearly broken, tried to tell us our cards are being declined. Finally got it to work after calling the manager a few times. Also told us we could change which credit card is being charged when we returned the truck (because they made us give them different credit cards when the others didn’t work) but then charged the wrong card at the end. Told us he would give us a $10 discount for the trouble but then at checkout told me he forgot to take it off so charged me full price.

I called in 5 times in total to fix a billing issue. On the 5th time the girl was nice and fixed it HOWEVER, it took 5 times over 5 days.

No one knew anything about Uboxes. Someone told me it had arrived but want accessible. Someone else told me it was at a different location. Multiple customer service agents were unable to locate the box and have it scheduled for move out. A very frustrating and disappointing experience. Clearly associates need to be trained and informed, and systems need to be unified. FIX THIS SERVICE.

Although you have a lot of folks working there, generally as a customer you end up waiting 10 or more minutes to get helped by the one person who is working with customers at a time: you have one person behind a computer and 2 other people standing there who won't even make eye contact with customers for fear of being drawn into a long conversation. Much of this issue is systemic: U-Haul's rental process is super long and involved, and even a self-service process with U-Haul takes 10 minutes to complete, partially relies on on-site staff, and you leave bewildered about what you're paying and why, and whether you're performing the steps correctly. Generally I like the staff at this location, and the folks who have talked to me have been helpful and responsive.
