The guy who rung me out for the trailer was super polite and super accommodating and super informative. When I dropped it off after hours he happen to still be there, and although he was not on the job and I did not expect him to do this for me, he took my trailer off and told me he checked me in and I didn't need to do anymore. Awesome awesome awesome experience. The hold time on your phone number to get help is excruciatingly long. I had to call back to three times and one time after waiting for 18 minutes on hold it hung up on me.

A kind gesture on Easter. James and the rest of the crew took care of me on a very busy Saturday before Easter when I had an issue with not having the correct trailer light connector and loaned me the shops which saved me an hour round trip of having to go back to the house to get my own adapter allowing me to get out of my storage space in time to spend Easter with the family.

The van had excess cleaning solution below the floor of the van which soaked my items. When I told the woman who checked out me out, she just started shouting "babe, babe can you help?", he then responded shouting back that he's busy and to give him 10 minutes. She told me to drop my key off to the person outside and i'll be good. I then received my bill and saw that I was overbilled, $10 for insurance that I opted out of, and my rate was doubled. When I called in, I sat on hold for 20 minutes just to be told that needed to speak to a manager that wasn't available but he would call me right back. No surprise, I was never called back.

Made a reservation. Got there early and thought I would get out on time but they had misplaced the keys and spent 20 minutes waiting. When returning took 20 minutes to get checked in and now missed the ferry that I thought I would catch wich will now cost me another hour. Not very happy today. The truck was very noisy on the highway - loose universal joint or drive shaft. I tell the uhaul worker at drop-off. He says I should have told the place I picked up the truck. I'm trying to be helpful. Clearly uhaul is trying to save money and treats franchisees like you treat customers.

Paul noticed me in the parking lot, struggling with some boxes I was returning. He came over and helped me without even being asked, then when he noticed someone else was already being helped at the counter, jumped right in to help me instead. This, and he had quite a few cans in line that he was checking in and cleaning! He went above and beyond, and it made my day.

The location is located in a large area with plenty of space to maneuver the trucks. Using the App to perform the pickup was super easy. The staff was very polite and helpful. I will definitely keep using this location for all my uhaul needs.

I should not have to take a bunch of pictures and do work for you guys. You have employees for that. I should get a discount for doing your work. It takes 15 minutes to check truck back in. And you threaten me with a $20 charge if I don't do it. You should pay me $20 for doing it for you.

Overall great experience - seamless, everything was ready. Would just be great if there were better signage about where to park to load/unload, and a ramp at the lower entry door, the step up plus heavy door makes it difficult to carry things in.

Paul and staff friendly, helpful. Minimal hassle. Glad you have a bathroom there, in behind the storage lockers. Very helpful, both before and after my big adventure cleaning out the garage of 1,600 pounds of 25 years worth of old stuff. You got me interested now in cargo vans, and I am actually considering buying the passenger version, since it is so effective sitting up high above the traffic.

clearly there is much for them to do- for the most part the equipment issues of minor dirt in the cab, and the truck battery, depending on uhaul corporate policies are tough to maintain when one is wearing multiple hats... i would definitely use the service again there... the GM is very hard working!

THe original location I was told to drop off (Was a Shell station) turned my away saying they no longer accepted Uhaul returns.. I drove vehicle to nearest uhaul. The delay was extremely inconvenient and made me miss an appointment I had booked for many weeks.. very disappointed in my Uhaul experience overall.

I had unit that was accessed by stairs. this was main reason for terminating the occupancy. Rents seemed high compared to what i was getting, U-Haul should run better promotions or give more incentives for long time renters (I have been here for close to 20 years, same unit)

My comments are based on 5-6 years of renting units from Uhaul and for the most part having awful experiences be the norm instead of the exception. The current manager has been exceptionally polite, professional, and helpful - Uhaul would be lucky to keep him. The flooding of my unit was handled poorly, but worst of all was the management's treatment of me at that time when I was not the cause of the flooding and damage to my stuff. I should have been compensated properly for the damage to my stuff, but I just am too exhausted to do all the work that should have been done by Uhaul to get reimbursed properly. It would have been nice if Uhaul had actually given me free rent for a while after that happened considering I was a customer for years and was a customer for years afterwards. The $500 wasn't nearly adequate to compensate for the damage and stress it caused. It would be nice if the hours to access our units were extended to 8pm, but it doesn't matter personally since I no longer have a unit. I am glad that the location hasn't shut down as it is convenient for all of us in West Seattle. I hope the friendlier service under the new manager is kept up - it's a nice change. In the past employees often were not trained adequately and couldn't do fundamental tasks involved in the job and it was extremely frustrating if a manager wasn't around to handle it. Hopefully employees are being trained more/better now.

Labor day weekend monday. James helped me knowledgeable. He took care of me other rentals returning rentals. Propane tank filled he got me a locker perfect. This man was only employee there. You can never find the staff. The only time anyone has been somewhat friendly was today when I was moving out. The young female working was awesome but I didn't get a name. The youngish male was rude, snarky and completely unhelpful. He seemed to be some sort of supervisor. Also, I emailed and called the manager several times for help, due to Covid-19, in possibly waiving any late fees. I have always paid my storage, every month. I don't accrue late fees. Because of Covid, I have been late the last couple of months. I never heard anything back from anyone. I found somewhere else to store my things.

The letters sent if someone was a day or so late were appalling. Threatening and on no way customer oriented. Just rude. The unit was too expensive given how many units you have to rent, and on a corner street that is less than desirable. Even the "Please note" below is unacceptable given the world we live in now. I will NOT recommend.
