My locked rusted shut, you have to use Uhaul locks, so it took up a bunch of time to cut it, cost $50, plus I then had to buy another disc lock. That should't happen when I've had locks outside for 10-15 year with no issues.

I ran 8th a problem with storage for the dresses and suits as I had received a total of 160 dresses and suits donated from people all across the Hudson valley NY, and Javon stepped in and offered a unit to store the suits and dresses in for me. Lori K | Overall ExperienceI write the following in response to a situation that in the way it was handled was starling, unexpected and why I had to leave. I write hoping that management is informed of this situation. I have stored with this facility for approximately 8 years. Many of those years with 3 rooms. Till yesterday I had room 3042 that I used to store paper items. Taking precautions I kept them off the floor and covered in plastic. This past Wednesday, 10/9/24 I came to withdraw some the items to catalogue them, and planned to return the items Friday, 10/11/24. Opening the storage I was distressed to find a puddle of dirty, red water pooled in the plastic. Thankfully, nothing was damaged. I went to the office to inform them of the situation, showed photos of the water on the plastic. The employee said that the manager was not in that day but would be the following, and that they would review with them about repairing the room or maybe moving me to another room. In the interim, I decided it would be best to remove all items to free the room for those options. I returned Friday, went to the office to speak with the manager. The manager was unaware of the situation. When I reviewed it with him, his first response: "well, it's a building....things happen" and nothing more. I understand that, and that's why the items were kept off the floor and covered in plastic. I understand that communications between employee and manger can get "lost". But I can't understand "things happen" and then stop. I realized that with this person that my best action was to limit the conversation and remove and clean my unit - and find a another storage facility. I did, went back to the manager, who said "your checked out". Stop. I asked if I needed to sign anything. "No." So I filled it in for myself that, that's it. l left. And after so many years and still needing storage, I left. The problem with the unit was very fixable. But the response, NO. Not ever coming back. Ruedi Hofmann / ruedihofmann@mac.com
