Respond to Smartphone responses by the earliest opportunity when the consumer indicates they “Do not agree with the charges” when turning in the equipment and the charges as shown are way over the top!!!

Trailer dirty- we had to clean ourselves. Staff behind counter not knowledgeable about adapters needed for cars and electric. When I returned the trailer, they made me go through the app while they all sat inside and watched me. Customer service at it's finest. Will go to New Windsor next time.

It has been 1 month since U-Haul took my U-Box, the guaranteed delivery date was June 11 (today is June 27). Yesterday, they told me my box had been delivered to Chicago. We are moving to California and never ever thought about moving to Chicago. It's been a nightmare. We packed our beds, clothes, and important papers into that box and now it's been a month living out of a suitcase with 2 kids. Unacceptable. Will never use U-HAUL again. My friend had warned us that U-BOX was not a very reliable service. She used them moving from Arkansas to Boston. She had issues getting the box delivered to a remote Arkansas town and then in Boston, there were issues with placement of the box on the street. I was warned, but moving from NY to CA, I thought I would be ok. I should have listened. I hope you do! Do NOT use this service.

Uhaul should make sure that drivers know “layout of the land” before delivering Uboxes so that they can bring an appropriately sized truck. I live on dead-end road with no cul-de-sac. Driver did not want to turn where most truck drivers turn, so ended up driving in my neighbor’s private drive and damaged some of her property - she was not happy!! Otherwise I would have given 5 stars for this service. Everything else went as smooth as clockwork.

The only 2 positive reviews I will give is that I got the pods earlier than expected and the workers dropping and picking up the pods were great. However the pod boxes were super flimsy and poorly made. The pods were super hard to close and put our locks on them. When after shipping our stuff we got wood residue over everything packed in the pod and there was big black ants crawling around in our containers. Also the customer service calls are a joke. Any time I called I was on the phone for an hour just being transferred because no one could change my pickup date for me. I kept being sent back to the main calling message over and over again. And then when came time to call about how I only used one pod instead of 2 no one could give me my refund back. They put out a claim that never got responded to. So I tried calling again after 6 days passed and the guy on the other line said I never put one in. The amount of times I got transferred was aggravating. I just wanted my money back as promised. They finally said it was a computer glitch on their end and had to cal technically support. I don't even think they sent me back to correct amount. I'm never going to use Uhaul again for moving. I might even call my back now and have them cancel the amount of money I put into this. Horrible service and horrible boxes. Alot of my wood furniture was damaged and torn up also. Never again!

The service i received was accurate and prompt. The Ubox arrived and was picked up as scheduled. It arrived at its destination 10 days early. The only thing i didn't like had to wait those 10 days for delivery. Great price, great customer service. I am recommending Uhaul to my friends and I will use Uhaul again inn the future. Dont added hidden charges to a bill after the vehicle is returned! Also, a hand truck and a dolly are not the same. I was led to believe I was renting a dolly when in fact there was no Dolly there was a hand truck. I had no use for a hand truck and shouldn't be charged a rental of $7 for the hand truck.

The truck I rented was flawless - worked perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised how well it handled the hilly terrain - automatically downshifting to keep the vehicle speed in check. Smooth ride, excellent gas MPH for a vehicle this size, would definitely rent again. Only issue was the mileage allotment was low - it didn't take into consideration that I had to pick up the vehicle from a different location due to my original reservation wasn't ready. No issues with that, I was notified in plenty of time and U-haul found me an alternative reservation in less than 10 min.

The counter person was very nice and cordial. Good guy. Have option for people who leave gas tank with more gas than they started with to get credit for it. Truck had 1/4 tank of gas and had to stop with 30 min to get more. Would’ve topped it off if I got credit for it but left it with the same amount of gas as I got it with

My ubox arrived a day early. My issue is no one called me I had to find out on my own that my box was here. Then I tried to call the site and got the call center. They said I was late for pickup. We went to see what was going on and the woman said they never call only send emails. Which I never got till after we emptied the box. I was not happy with the site where my box was.

Customer service at check in was not awesome. Provided no solutions to a booking problem. When a solution was offered and I accepted, it was then renigged... apparently it was a scare tactic as opposed to a real solution.

I was told in the Nanuet NY uhaul location I can't rent a van which I wanted to do. They said vans and pick up trucks are only for local uses local in rockland I can't leave the area with the van and in Middlehope, NY location they said I can rent the van as long as I bring it back to the same location I am still pist because I wasted all that money for a truck I didn't need and I could have gotten a van I hate Uhaul company I rather be ripped off at Enterprise and use there trucks and leave a deposit intstead of being purposely lied to by your company.

I used Penske or Budget in the past, but U-Haul has really stepped up a it’s game to make your moving experience a pleasure from their online bookings, customer service phone reps and location service people for returns. Glad to see that they are decayed to being #1 Go team U-Haul????

Keep current mailing info on record. Each use of storage for each time I've used Uhail..my old information comes up and mail sent to wrong address. I kept getting late notices going to old address. Cost was 15.00 each time. Using email easier.

I was charged for a dolly that I never used.. employee spent 45 minutes trying to figure out how to reverse the charge... I eventually gave up.. I feel that was the point and they charged me for the item on purpose

My truck pick-up time was for 10AM & I did the express check in. I had my movers meeting me at 10:30. When I got to the store, there was no one at the counter available to help me (the one person was out doing something else). After waiting for about 10 minutes, he came in & asked me the same questions I had answered on the web. He then told me the wrong location where my truck was parked. After all this, I was late to meet with my movers.

My friend and I arrived about 4:00pm traveling from NYC with a load in a Uhaul 15’ cargo truck. We got help signing in and started unloading. Closing time was 5:00 and there were more people to serve.
