I was taken to the emergency room and still had to trailer out for several days when I got out the hospital the tire blew on me I came back to return the trailer and they still made me pay for everything not even giving my money back for a blown tire and the tow Which I had a receipt for. They told me to call the 1 800 number the 1 800 number could not come out for several hoursI was not gonna sit on the side of the highway that long. I would like my money back for the Mounting of the tire tow and I would like the hitch were moved off my truck do not want to do business what you haul anymore. Worst service I ever had No sympathy whatsoever. How can you not do anything when you have documented proof to tire blew. Save. u haul a lot of money by not having you guys come out and changed a tire. So I lose hundreds of dollars on both ends

I was not happy about being redirected to the Newburgh/Middlehope location from New Windsor last minute. U-Haul needs a better inventory allocation tracker for your website. That way I would know my trailer is not in New Windsor when I place the order and find out it's in Newburgh the next day. The Newburgh location was very clean and organized. The associate that helped me, I believe her name was Angelina, was very friendly, polite and helpful. My visit was fast and efficient. I had no issues other than the inventory one. Thanks!

We used U-Haul last weekend and found the service to be terrible; the U-Haul rep in Newburgh NY promised my girlfriend a free month of storage in a "climate-controlled" U-Haul facility in Danbury CT - when she got to the Danbury location, she was told there were no climate-controlled units ther - or any units available of any kind. She then had to wait with her 3 kids for 3 hours while the Danbury rep tried to find some other storage facility. They finally found one with abandoned property in it - it was locked and the rep had to break into it and remove the other property before my girlfriend could put her furniture in it. The unit was filthy and had no climate-controls - it was so bad that we're going to rent another truck, and move the furniture again to some other storage facility. I paid U-Haul for this "service", and I'd like a refund - or at least a free truck so that we can move the furniture to a cleaner unit that - unlike the one your rep promised - actually has climate control. This is the second bad experience we've had with U-Haul in the past 3 weeks (look up the name Gena Bowden to read about the other problem that occurred), and if we can't get better service from U-Haul, we're going to use another company in the future. Insure that the pickup location which is confirmed, actually has the equipment your customer is supposed to get. My pickup was a clusterfu_k! I think it was 5 different locations where I was supposed to pick up the auto hauler trailer. UHaul added about 3 hours, and 102 miles to my already long trip of 7 hours. Not too good!

there was damage to the truck which was not noted on the contract. They said there was a sticker on the damage acknowledging it, however, after travel the sticker was not visible to the drop off people. They called me to say there was damage and I might be responsible for it. Thankfully they checked with the pickup location.

Know your dropp off locations. I was sent on an hour long wild goose chase, given 3 different drop off locations. Two were no longer Uhaul places and the third drop off location didn't check the truck in until the next day so my credit card was charged for another entire day when I didn't even have the truck. Had to fight for a refund. Supposed to be coming to me in the form of a check, and not on my credit card that they charged. A nightmare

Van had a bad smell. It also seems there is a real disconnect here with customer service. I've walked in twice now, over the last year, and 'interrupted' a conversation between two employees. On BOTH occasions, I was left to stand there while they finished their gossip. The first time is was for several minutes. If this location wasn't so close to me (the next best option is miles away) I would avoid it. Shame too, the facilities seem very nice.

U-Haul screwed me out of more than $100 by not having my reservation and sending me another 40 miles out of my way to get a truck when I absolutely needed one they try to sugar coat it by extending a a$50 refund but that barely covers half the expenses and none of the Inconvenience moving is a stressful situation when all goes smooth,when you have to use U-Haul count on it being even worse. Everytime

Only had truck for half hour. My move was canceled so it would have been nice if you could have rescheduled me for another day instead of me having to pay full price. Or just charged me mileage which was only 20 miles.

I dealt with one person over the phone ( on new years day no less) and one person at the desk in person. Both were helpful and friendly to the point where renting from uhaul seemed as easier than checking out a book from the library.

I picked up the van by using the online option. It was excellent, except I had to go to the counter to pickup the key. They were a little confused at first, but it went smoothly. The return was frustrating, because I had to go to the counter to complete it. They were very busy and I had to wait at least 20 minutes to be waited on. When I was called it took less than 5 minutes to check out. I hope the online checkin / checkout process is improved because I prefer that.

Although Truck physically looked clean, it smelled of cigarettes and old coffee. Employees were polite, respectful, and efficient, Place and location were clean and orderly. You should make the vehicles non smoking.

Two of the staff members - Alex and Paul were beyond rude and unprofessional. They did not attempt to rectify the discrepancies in pricing from what I booked online to what I was being charged at the location. They spewed profanities and threats at me and my fiance. Thankfully they called their manager who was able to assist us.
