They had rented the unit I reserved. The one she offered me did not meet my needs. I had to accept one that did for an extra $100 a month. At the time I didn't have the time to shop around because I had to return the truck at a different location. Beyond aggravated.

The girl at the counter told me one price then I got billed for $225. I tried to pay cash that day, but she was too worried about her fingernails and she didn’t wanna have to count her drawer at the end of the night, so I had to put it on my card to buy a lousy lock. You have kids working in a place and they shouldn’t be the old owners. Dell and her husband were the best and now that they’re gone, the place has gone to crap.

I moved everything out on 10/3/24 and called the U-Haul location on 10/4 to inform them that the unit was empty, so that they could have rented it again. The girl checked the unit and confirmed all was removed, and clean. During my rental, the electric access gate did not work properly. It would not accept any assigned access codes. I could only access my unit during office hours, as the staff needed to open and close the gate.
JAMES B | Overall ExperienceThe only thing I was unhappy with is I had a 10x25 which had two doors and they would only let me open one door and it was crazy it cost me extra money for helpers it caused me aggravation and this is over a course of a couple years he just kept telling me the second door won't open and he even came back and did a playhouse 90 showing me it wouldn't open meanwhile they had an auditor there one day and she was checking the units and I asked her about it and she said sure it opens and I'm like you're kidding me she's like no. Well now that old guy is gone and made a new girl there and she's great and she came out and opened it up for it and I'm so thankful but I'm really upset cuz I went 3 years not being able to have access to that.
