Roof leak, minimal water thank goodness, but great staff, very helpful
CHRISTINE K | Overall ExperienceI had a pretty good experience minus the fact i had to file 2 claims for damaged Items in my storage unit due to an accident of U-Haul staff. 1 claim has been resolved awaiting for the second claim to be resolved.
Devante F | Overall ExperienceFor about 6 years, there was no staff on the premises. I could never talk to a real person. About 5 months ago, my unit got broken into. Some guy stole my autographed basket ball by signed by one of the Harlem Globe Trotters and other things like my jewelry that I still have not gotten back. This experience was absolutely horrible. The ceiling is leaking throughout the place which is an electrical hazard. This place is not safe.

SEAN G | Overall ExperienceExperience was all-around positive. Easy to reserve, pay, and cancel online. Unit was spacious and clean. Access was convenient, as was the location. Only con was that I did see a roach crawl into another unit while we were moving in. Luckily, all of my things were stored in plastic containers which we shook out thoroughly upon move-out.

When the end of June came, we went into the office to get everything set up, to be told that the unit we reserved was not available. What’s the point of a reservation? Anyway, that’s not this office’s fault, so just make sure you call this office’s line ahead of time to confirm what is available and what isn’t. This office was very helpful in finding us an accommodation any way possible. The only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is because our storage unit’s light was out, but they did tell us that before they rented the space to us, so they are transparent and were only trying to get us SOME space to use so last minute.

ROSE W | Overall ExperienceLaken and Philip at this facility were the only good parts of our experience. I booked my reservation in MARCH! In June, I walk into the office on the day of my reservation to sign paperwork and to receive the keys of my storage unit, only to be told the facility didn’t have what I reserved available. What? What is the point of a reservation, then? Absolutely ridiculous and inconvenient experience. I will NEVER be using u-haul again. I hope Laken and Phillip find jobs within a better company.
