The staff were very accommodating and polite. Also they are responsive! Which means there are people actually working! This means a lot to me in business nature. This created a process of a smooth flow, simple and easy. There is a lot of talk about policies and the paperwork that comes with it when obtaining a storage unit I could fall asleep lol which can be a little too much at the time depending on your reason for getting a unit and the type of day your having. However, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Great experience!! Fairbanks UHaul #209 Who Dey!
JULLIUS N | Overall ExperienceThe U-Haul on College 826056 is AMAZING!!!! The only thing is I think U-Haul should provide better Tires for their trucks because we are in Alaska!! For the U-Haul on Airport. You All need to get off your high horses. Just because you are employed doesn’t mean you can treat people like they are less than you!! The U-Haul on Airport needs to get rid of people who can’t maintain at least good customer service The U-Haul on Airport Sucks And does not maintain a U-Haul Mission. It’s like if you’re not white or rich they don’t appreciate your patriotism!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will ONLY RECOMMEND U-HAUL STORE 826056. 👎👎👎👎For your airport location they can KICK ROCKS. I will make sure I tell everyone never to rent from that location!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟AGAIN THANK YOU TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES OF U-HAUL 826056 “the College Location “ These employees maintain your customer base and should be given the opportunity for advancement and/or more money!! They all need raises!!!! U-Haul you should keep and retain employees like the ones at Store 826056!! You should show your appreciation for employees who create an amazing experience at your locations!!! We all know that having employees that make your business shine is imperative in a day and age where people don’t want to work or go above and beyond!!! TIFFANY T | First ImpressionsMy only complaint is when calling the local store #, after 2 rings, the call is transferred to a national call center. The national call center is geared more towards truck rental and NOT helpful about local storage. The local facility is always helpful, immaculately clean, temperature controlled and easy to access.

Never had a problem I was handicapped in a wheelchair and they always provided help when I needed it when I went over to my storage unit and I never had a problem with U-Haul. It was awesome great and I will use it again if needed thank you.

BRENDA R | First ImpressionsI used a rolling cart to move my things to a bus stop about 20ft from the facility. I staff member came and demanded $15 for the cart while chastising me about sleeping in the unit. I have never slept on the property and only come to get my things and leave, as I did this time. I am a fulltime student at UAF and felt this behavior was utterly disrespectful as I had communicated my intentions, and emailed Management concerning my unit. This was disgusting. I'll never be back.
Sloane D | Overall ExperienceOn the day of check out, I had to return to the office several times and wait five minutes before anyone made an appearance and when someone did show up, I was rushed out so they could take a smoke break.....facility roof had leaked and items in my storage got wet, moldy, and destroyed. Inquired about compensation, but nobody including the insurance were willing to help. Wound up losing some personal items and furniture to the dumpster rather than getting any type of compensation.
