The gas gauge was not at the level indicated on the paperwork. I showed it to a customer agent but I still had to go through the cumbersome technological procedure to change it when it could have been done and noted by personnel at the scene .

I was not given the proper vehicle (no studded/snow tires) and felt unsafe to the point where I did not think I could refuel without getting stuck, so I returned the vehicle thinking I would not be charged that much. Instead I was given an inflated fee, which surprised me since I had bothered to purchase the insurance and explained to the manager that I felt unsafe even going to refuel. Once I got in my car, my partner told me I should have asked for a partial refund due to the unsafe ness and the lack of proper vehicle, and I agree. I don’t think I should have been charged as much since I was not given the vehicle and safety I had paid for. I will not be using this location again, and probably will not use any Uhaul location again if I can help it.

The staff was really nice but it took them a long time to get the truck out because it was snowed in. It did not upset me, but then I opened the back of the truck and there was a bunch of pallets and stuff in it so that took time to clear out. They worked real hard for me and even hooked up to my trailer but as soon as I left I needed to use the windshield wipers and found out that they were torn so that really annoyed me.

Poor customer service. Accessibility was poor. Couldn’t pull in to return trailer because of people parked in the entrance accessing their lockers. Spent more time waiting for employee than I had to use the trailer for.

usuallly when i rent i purchase the insurance direct from uhaul and it well worth first time i got safe trip and 30 minutes after picking up the van i locked my keys in a running vehicle call 800# and it was less than 30 minutes . my only thought is i should not be responsible for informing staff that the vehicle has mechanical problems this thought has also crossed my mind every time ive gotten uhauls insurance ive gotten a vehicle that needs to see a mechanic After 15 plus years of an account with uhaul i was informed on last rental the uhaul insurance does not cover wheel wells. why bumper to bumper insurance that was i was told at pick up and the friday day crew 25 below zero and the staff managed to start the vehicle for me did NOT CLEAN SNOW OFF and insisted it was of to drive the vehicle off the curb all employees were in break room eating and i actually went in break room to inquire about indicators light on dash like low tire pressure the return of vehicle on saturday great crew also the staff on saturday informed me about wheel well not covered

Open air trailer had about a foot of snow in it. A 6’x12’ trailer was the only option and was bigger than what was needed but still had to pay the full $45 for a two hour rental

The only issue I was charged 4 days versus 3 days The truck was returned on time I should have been charged 3 days as per the contract. Do not understand why this happened. Luckily I caught it and it took some time to make necessary adjustments and be charged 3 vs 4

Be more clear about your policies and fees. No one reviewed the contract with me. I was not informed I needed to check the mileage on the truck and take a picture until I returned it. Unfortunately I couldn't contest the mileage because of this, and I was charged 300 dollars. They said i drove 178 miles which is completely impossible. We used the uhaul to haul a few things to the dump, which is only 4 miles from our house, not a HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHT. It was super frustrating. I would think that checking the mileage would be the job of the employee, not me, but if for some reason it's my job, the employees should tell me beforehand.

When it came time to return the vehicle we called the office to ask where the winterization plug was to plug in said vehicle after use for the day. Office said that particular vehicle didnt have a plug and to either return it or start it every 4 hours. We returned the vehicle and upon returning it at 730 pm, the guy was rude, and said it was pointless for us to return it and to just start it up. We have 2 small children and it is -18 degrees outside. Recommending to have better customer service, or have equipment that is meant for this weather in Alaska.

Took the truck with 3/4 tank of gas. Returned it almost full. No refund or discount is a little bit of stealing isn't it? Also the Employees were just acting like it's got nothing to do with them and telling me "it's a rule from corporate".
