The light in the hall didn't work, and there was no light in my unit. Also the bottom of two of my boxes were wet, luckily only a towel was damaged. Otherwise, the experience was satisfactory.
LEVENTE J | Overall ExperienceThe ceiling looked in the process of falling in. I had to push a specific way on the sagging door to align the holes to unlock it. Took over 5 minutes once. The floor to my unit was about knee high so I had to keep climbing in and out to load/unload which added a lot of work. Driving was difficult with unlevel and unmaintained driving surfaces - difficult to pull out with a trailer. Would never recommend this facility.

STEVEN W | First ImpressionsFriendly people. They made renting easy and convenient, and offered promos (that she could have easily ignored) that saved me a months rent. They had a variety of different sizes of units to choose from. Great experience. Would recommend Uhaul definitely.
Robert H | First ImpressionsPacked up all my stuff and went to the facility and the unit I was assigned still had a lock on it when I got there and the gate opener wasn’t programmed correctly so I couldn’t get out. Then couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the office after calling 3 times and had to call a corporate number and wait for them to open it remotely to let me out. The gate was wide open when I got there in the first place with no one even around so I just went right in(I’m assuming someone had just left). When setting up the unit the guy told me it’s a sketchy area and I should get my stuff insured. Then the lock I bought from them was defective. Second guy I talked to when I went back for the second and third time with issues was great and so nice. Tried to get me a unit at the main site and offered a free month but the same sized unit was $50 more a month at that location. I didn’t trust the company anymore by this point and cancelled my unit. Found a slightly cheaper storage unit a few miles away with a different company that was cleaner and better maintained and didn’t have any issues with them or the unit.

For these reasons I moved out of storage unit.

DEMETRES O | Overall ExperienceThe gate was broken when I first went with truck load to store. So couldnt get in. The whole front fence was knocked down. Y snow, I assume. The unit had plywood doors, and the hasp was 3/4s up. You could pull the bottom open. It was not secure, at all at the Steese Location. The Staff at College Rd were excellent. It wasnt their fault. I got refund. I will store elsewhere this time
