The hours could have been better as I would have preferred a 24 hr access facility for more convenience but the facility was always well maintained and mostly convenient. When moving out I was presented with an issue of the elevator being out in August and was frustrated with not getting proper help. After getting nowhere upper management all the way to the president of U-Haul South Carolina stepped in and provided movers and a truck all at no cost to assist with my move since the elevators were out of service. That was a “game changer”, and the experience made me glad that I chose U-Haul and I have also shared my complete satisfaction with my friends and family as well. Thank you Mr Matt Womack for turning a terrible situation into an enjoyable experience!

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulI might have been overreacting a bit in my response but I was very frustrated. I got to the facility a little after 18:00. I began unloading into my storage unit. Realized there was no lock in the unit. I did not bring a lock with me. Office was closed and no one was answering the phone. I tried to call customer service and they were unable to assist. I reloaded my stuff back into my car and attempted to get in touch with the office again. I was unable to get in touch with anyone so I decided to cancel my storage rental. I planned on using this for about 6 months. I understand the person at the desk was away but there was no indication as to a return time and I can’t just sit around and wait to see if anyone would return.
Patrick M | Experiencia generalI only took the 30 day free storage because I had a one-way rental. I am a branch manager at a local staffing service, and if the two people that waited on me were my employees I would be looking for replacements. After my experience at the Elmwood location, I did phone the corporate office because I was unfairly charged extra fees ( which i was not aware of until i got home and looked at my bank account..) . The woman who helped me on the phone was very professional I appreciated her efforts If she were my employee, I would promote her
Alice B | Primeras impresionesHappy overall. Was a bit weirded out with the rap trap in the unit (had baby clothes near the poison found out about it when cleaning out the unit).
HUNTER W | Experiencia generalThey charged my account before checking to see if I was gone. This has messed up my account and I am told I have to wait up to 15 days for my money
TARRA W | Experiencia generalThe elevator did not work so had to take things up and down and it’s was 102 inside
Lauren R | Experiencia generalThank you for the help
RONALD R | Experiencia generalThe elevator was broken both times my daughter went to get her stuff for move out. She had to carry everything down two flights. This was over the course of a week. When she talked to the staff they made it sound like it just stopped working but it wasn’t working all week.
jennifer k | Experiencia generalDavid was such a pleasure to work with. He made the entire process very smooth. Will use UHaul again from this experience. Thank you!
Lisa B | Experiencia generalThere was a dead cockroach in my unit when I arrived and the light never worked. The fans in the hall were never on so it was extremely hot inside. The staff in the office weren’t the nicest.
CAMILLE A | Experiencia generalElevator broke on move out! On third floor
PAMELA E | Experiencia generalI really like the price lock and hope that they would keep it longer
