The young man who served me on Friday gave me the wrong truck. When I started to head out this morning, I noticed my paperwork did not match up with the truck. Since I was driving by the U-Haul place on the way out I stopped in to get it corrected. The young lady who was very polite, professional, and helpful, told me I was given their day truck, rather than the one I was supposed to get. Moreover, the one I was supposed to get was no longer there and I could not take the one I was given on my one way trip. She gave me a 15' truck at the same price. Of course this increased my fuel cost. Also, I then had to move stuff from one truck to the other. Again, the young woman who helped me Saturday morning was great. My issue is with the mistake made by another on Friday.
The worker's there was super friendly, great customer service, answered every question that I had, also help put the dolly in the truck for me. Keep up the great work
Representative was polite but did not greet me or the 3 other people who waited almost 15 minutes for him to complete my pickup paperwork. No acknowledgement of them (or me when he unlocked the door at 9 am Sunday ) Also guy was outside waiting for something to be unlocked an he came in mad about waiting and representative said I will be with you when I am done with her. So now its my fault that everyone is waiting.
Staff was quite pleasant and informative.
Parking is awful at the location, but the area and store itself was clean and organized and the person who processed our transaction was very friendly and helpful. He even checked the truck out with us to ensure everything was in order. Thanks!
It was the first time I was told that I couldn't use cash.. The computer was down so I couldn't check out the equipment.. I went back the next day to resolve the issue and was told that I owed more money.. Which if was the case I should've been emailed or called so I could have resolved the issue.. Then I was told to talk photographs because trucks can be stolen by myself..
Staff needs customer service training.
Please get this poor guy some help. He was so nice but new and way too many customers for one person to handle.
They didn't have the Dolly I requested and offered no help to solve the problem.
The operator was not wearing a mask while I was in the store with him and Columbia has a current mask mandate.
They charged me for three days. I definitely want a refund.
The vehicle died on location. The blankets we ordered were not available
My check was not checked and now I'm receiving a bill for furniture pads . I could've brought them back that night instead him letting me leaving and fucking charging my card
I waited over an hour and a half standing just to return a truck. There were three other people behind me, no telling how long they waited. When it was finally my turn, another man walked in the door and this person was helped first.
It took a while to have someone respond to me. There wasn't enough signage and I was confused on where to park. But the staff was friendly and helped me check in the truck.

The attendant was very helpful.
Jacqueline and staff were very understanding of our situation and very embarrassed that UHaul would put drivers and passengers at risk in a defective vehicle. She told us we could use her name to confirm the truck would not go into reverse. She further stated that she would expect UHaul to reimburse me for duplicate payments as well as compensation for putting us at risk and returning ahead of schedule.

Jacqueline was the store manager who helped me and she was INCREDIBLE! Helped with every thing I needed very quickly and efficiently and was very friendly. Would definitely use this location again and recommend to friends.
The woman and guy at the drop off location on Elmwood St in Columbia SC were awesome.
