We returned the truck the way we got it, would not give full refund. It's a crap policy to enforce that a customer must return a clean truck if uhaul isn't required to give me a clean truck to begin with!! I am a customer... not your maid!

I scheduled a 10-foot truck, and the day before pickup I was notified that I had a 15-foot truck, and that all their 10-foot truck were used for local moves. If that were the case, I should have been notified as I was scheduling via the website.

the truck was dirty, the seat adjuster didn't work, too much gas was reported on the paperwork and i had to go back in to adjust, i had to pay for 20 extra miles and i had left a quarter tank extra gas. after the problems on pick up i should not have been charged extra!!!

When my wife and myself pulled into the Uhaul parking lot there was a homeless man standing right in front of the store in plain view of the employees and customers urinating. This is after the original location we were supposed to pick up from was changed by the company last minute so we had to go out of our way to the other side of town.

The shelves in front of the registers where the customer stands are a bit close together. It's uncomfortable.

I had a small issue that needed to be discussed with a supervisor, I was told I would receive a call back, but never did. Other than that things went fairly well. It was clean as far as nothing on the floors, but it could have been wiped down with a little soap and water something sticky was in the cup holder and console area.

I have never had an issue with a person at u-haul but their web-based system is an embarrassment. I had requested to drop my truck off at the same location I did the last time and this was confirmed. When I got into town I received a text telling me I needed to drop the truck off at the Elmwood location. When I pulled up the guy tells me "I don't have room for you to turn your truck in here. You'll need to take it to the 2 Notch Rd location". Which is where I had requested to take it from the start! When I called the 800 number to sort this out, the lady tried to pull my contract up from my phone number and couldn't find it. Only my previous rental. This was in spite of the fact that I had received 6 texts to that number to include the original reservation confirmation and the text telling me where to turn in the truck 4 hours before. While the truck worked great and again every actual person was polite and helpful I would never use U-haul again if I have any other option.

The dolly was needed for this move, I asked the front desk if they had one in the store she advised they didn’t but it should be one on the truck. Of course it wasn’t one.

I had made a reservation for 1pm and decided to try the online checkout to expedite the process. After I completed the steps towards picking up my key, I was directed to get the key from the counter. There was no one working, but a number was posted to call. I called this number and left a voicemail. After waiting about 15 minutes, I contacted an online chat feature to let someone know of the issue. After waiting a total of around 20 minutes, a worker showed up with no explanation or any acknowledgement that we had been waiting past our 1pm reservation. Unfortunately, this is the second time I have rented from this location, and I have experienced similar issues on both occasions. I have rented from UHaul on multiple occasions, and this is the only location where I have ever had an issue.

Per my contract it says Uhaul would calculate the best rate. I reserved my vehicle with their best rate garuntee and did not receive that rate. I feel like the people representing Uhaul are trained to rip patrons off and I will take my services elsewhere in the future.

the mobile/self-dispatch feature was extremely difficult and frustrating, and it simply didn't work. I had to go into the location to get the van, and had to download the app to return the van.
