The staff and handling of services were excellent. My concerns for security are that the door closest to my unit was never locked upon entering or leaving. Using my plastic key card on the swipe pad was unnecessary. Always had access without using it. Also lighting was very poor inside the storage units, unless your unit was very near a light source. Mine was not. Other than that... I had a good experience. The office personnel was always wonderful!

When brought to the managers attention she was unaware of what climate control means and first started by telling me I was wrong about it being 100 degrees even with picture proof. There is no lighting in any of the units as they removed all lightbulbs and if the socket for your light bulb doesn't work the manager also said they will refuse to fix or replace it.

Dwight H. | Overall ExperienceI checked the "NO" box for the staff rating because while the manager of this facility is amazing, the gentleman I interacted with this past Saturday, and once before, was far from amazing. He has no customer service skills. His demeanor was dismissive. He acted as though he had better things to do and I was interrupting his personal time. For example, during my check out, I asked if there was any kind of partial reimbursement given for the rent I pre-paid. He just laughed and didn't answer me. I asked if that meant "No" and he replied (barely) with "Yeah. Also, after the transaction, I asked if I could wait inside the office area until my husband returned to retrieve me. It was 97 degrees outside. Without looking at me, because he was already busy on his phone, he mumbled something and I said, "Excuse me". He basically grunted and sighed at me, sarcastically smiled, rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah". His reaction to me asking to use the bathroom and thanking him afterwards was essentially the same, and he was still on his phone. He does NOT need to be the first, last, or any, interaction people have with UHAUL. Samantha, the manager is wonderful. She is extremely helpful, and has an extremely positive attitude. She is truly an asset to this company. On the few occasions I have needed assistance, she was a pleasure to deal with. Facility related, the only negative I have is the hallway where my unit (B-22) was located was not lit well at all. If the sun is not out, it is very dark and a flashlight is necessary. Using a hand-held flashlight or cell phone light while moving boxes, etc., is a bit inconvenient. I was pleased that for as long as I have had this unit, my things did not sustain any damage. I was also pleased with the convenience of the location and rental cost. I checked the YES box that I would recommend this facility to others, but with the caveat that they ONLY deal with Samantha.
