First time dealing with self storage. Overall good experience. I would recommend improving the flooring as the ridges and bumps can cause goods in transport to become dislodged from trolleys. Very aggravating experience.

Roderick G | Overall ExperienceI had issues with the management and tried several times to file a complaint on her behaviour with no success. My hours were changed without notice and my suitcases got stuck in the storage locker 30 minutes after it closed. I tried numerous times to ring her after hours number that she refused to answer so we missed out flight and costs us a fortune to rebook and find a hotel. When I told her this the next day she basically said to bad, not her fault. When the whole thing was her fault because all we needed was her confirmation to be let back in. Super rude. Charged us more than we originally signed up for with no improvement.

I showed up with a truck full of my stuff and was turned away even tho the hours were posted at the door and on google, the staff decided they wanted to go home and did not let me unload. the amount of time arguing about it would of been plenty of time to finish up. I was eventually compensated for my truck since I needed to add a whole extra day, find somewhere to park it and hire movers a second time but I will never be okay with that type of customer service. Everytime i speak to any staff member I'm appalled at their attitude.

mohammed a | Overall ExperienceWhen I was moving in, I could not believe that the second floor doors were non functional. This would have made my move phenomenally easier. Without the second floor dock being accessible, it took a lot longer to load/unload than it should have. I started renting maybe DEC/JAN. During this time i believe there were people sleeping on the floors and leaving a large amount of garbage and mess around the building and after about a week into january, y'all started locking down the entire premises and restricting access to only daytime business hours, effectively keeping me from accessing my storage unit. My employment hours far exceed the hours of operation. It took me excessively longer than it should have for me to empty my unit, because sadly I could only take one load *if i was lucky* before the building was closed, and only very rarely as my hours of employment are fluctuating. Something that should have taken me about TWO months took me about EIGHT. $300/mo for eight months is $2,400. Another major setback was when all the tenants started locking the flat carts into their locker. I had previously left the premises after searching the entire property on all floors for a cart to use, there were none. After talking to a disgruntled employee, he told me he "did not have the time to look through the camera footage to see who is locking carts within their locker." Because there were no carts provided, I was unable to move my items off the premises. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO SIT BACK AND PAY YOU. If I would have known that the hours of operations would have changed so quickly after I had started renting, I would have not have rented here. I was COMPLETELY unable to withdraw my own items and was stuck paying the bill month after month. I ended up using all of my personal hours at work in order to get the appropriate time to empty the unit. I have been a longtime user and enjoyer of uHual storage, I like that I can come and go when I want, in a secure location. uHual makes it easy with lifts, and big bays that i can pull my vehicle into, and access to my unit at all times of day and night. This experience was anything but. I am incredibly displeased and am unsure if I will be returning.
