Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulOverall, my experience with this U-Haul Storage facility was great. The facility was clean, well-lit, and felt safe and secure. I felt comfortable knowing that both I and my belongings were safe. The bathrooms could use some improvement, but overall, I was pleased with the facility itself. Unfortunately, my experience with the move-out process was disappointing. I have used other U-Haul Storage facilities in the past, and checking out has always been simple and convenient. I was able to complete the process online or over the phone. However, this location handled things differently. I attempted to check out online and over the phone, but each time I was redirected and told I had to come into the facility in person. When I called the location directly, I was told they required customers to come in to verify that the unit was clean, the lock had been removed, and the key card was returned. I explained that my unit was clean, the lock had been removed, and I no longer had the key card. I asked if I could complete the checkout over the phone, but I was told that I still needed to come in. I called back and spoke with another employee, who confirmed the same requirements. Since I was told an in-person visit was necessary, I arranged to leave work early. I was specifically instructed to take a picture of the unit, bring my key card, and make sure the unit was clean and the lock was removed. When I arrived, the employee asked for my unit number and handed me a piece of paper. He did ask for my key card, and I explained that I had already thrown it away. However, I was not asked to provide a picture of the unit or verify that it was clean or that the lock had been removed. None of the other requirements that had been communicated to me were checked. This was frustrating because I had to leave work early and make an unnecessary trip to the facility for a process that could have easily been completed online, through the app, or over the phone. If an in-person visit was not actually necessary to verify the condition of the unit, I feel that customers should not be required to make one. Despite this frustrating experience, I want to emphasize that the storage facility itself was great. I would still recommend this location to others and would consider using it again. I simply hope management reviews the move-out process to make it more convenient and consistent with the customer service experience offered at other U-Haul Storage locations.
TRACY B | Experiencia generalHave access to the units available 24/7
omar u | Experiencia generalI liked U-haul’s price, and it was very convenient to have my storage locker at the same place I was picking up and dropping off my U-haul truck.
Christopher F | Primeras impresionesI really appreciated there was a restroom at the entrance— not just for relief but also to wash my hands.
Roxanne H | Experiencia generalThe staff at the Burnsville location are amazing, friendly, and most of all helpful
April N | Experiencia generalMichael has been especially helpful, kind and compassionate. He’s a keeper!
Jean A | Experiencia generalRead the perks you get with units. I rented a U-Haul to bring some big stuff to the dump not knowing that Dumpster service would’ve been a little easier. They also supply people by the hour to help you if you need it.
Dorian M | Experiencia generalThe fact I paid for the month but moved out with 2 weeks still left on the month and didnt get my storage pro rated for a return is ridiculous, the monthly cost divided by days in the month is a daily cost so I should have been credited 12days back in payment. Horrible policy and staff seem angry and mad they have to work there
SHAWN M | Experiencia generalMainly use U-Haul for renting trailers (great prices). The 1 month free with trailer rental allowed me to move my daughter into a smaller apartment by being able to store some things in storage while we arranged her place.
