I was totally pleased with most aspects of my experience, except when it came to my checkout. Conscious, that my payments for storage was due on the 25th of each month, I planned carefully to vacate the space before that date and to notify, U-Haul that I had done so. Since that time I have received communications thanking me for using U-Haul, advising me that my payment was late, and advising me of late fees. Please review your records, I advised U-Haul of my termination of storage, several days before the final monthly payment was due. What has been a positive experience, is being negatively affected by this mistake. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

MATTHEW H | Overall ExperienceThere was only one elevator, it stopped working. Had to carry my stuff down from the third floor. Management, staff did nothing to resolve the problem nor offer any type of accommodation/compensation.
KHAMA N | Overall ExperienceThere was an initial mix up in the beginning. The storage unit information we received indicated the unit was vacant. When we arrived to unload the moving truck, the unit had a lock on it so we could not unload the truck k due to no access to the unit. However, U-haul worked with us and rectified the cost of the extra day's rental and mileage. But my Neice ended up missing a day of work on Thursday to unload the truck that morning. She then had to prepare to pack for the funeral in Florida. No getting that back. . . But, we are grateful.
Julie C | First ImpressionsIf I could separate my ratings based on the facility itself and the people who helped me out I would. The facility was dirty, there was broken glass, cigarette butts and rat traps scattered throughout the place (thankfully no rats were spotted I guess). Along with that I found a sock filled with a mystery substance in my storage unit and no that’s not a joke. Oh and how could I forget the lovely sound of the alarm blaring in my ear for the entire hour I was there. It wasn’t a pleasant sound either it was a high frequency tone playing continuously and it felt as though my ears were about to start bleeding from it. Luckily for me I was there “after hours” so nobody was in the building to assist with the alarm or my other issue. But I digress. I initially had a problem with my particular storage unit because it was an upper unit (one of the small ones you need rolling stairs to access) and there was no way I was getting my things up there. After about 45 minutes on the phone, however, I was able to get my unit switched. The people who helped me over the phone were very understanding and extremely helpful and for them I give a 6/5 star rating! For that god forsaken facility itself, I’m being generous with 3/5.
