This place was great. I called last minute on Friday night and the person said no problem. He stayed past his work time to help me. He was really helpful and friendly. The problem I have is with UHaul. They made me rent the trailer for 5 days when I used it for 1 1/2 days. Why did I have to pay for 5 days? This is not right. They said UHaul says people might "speed" to the location. I didn't speed to Texas. I shouldn't have had to pay for 3 extra days. Richard Thomas

Very upset over charges for folding rented blankets. I used movers from the UHaul website. They finished after dark on a rainy night and put everything rented in the back of the truck. The day after I returned the truck, I got the bill by email and was shocked to see a charge of $120 for folding blankets. I have a problem in several ways: 1)No had mentioned I had to fold them, but was told afterwards that it is in the contract. 2) if it was required by UHaul, why didn't the workers hired from your website know this and fold them and 3) even if the contract stated it, I feel it is rediculous to charge $20 per each for that many blankets. Or why did they not call me and give me a chance to come to the store and fold them. Bottom line I think it is a gross overcharge for this.

A big thanks to the drop off location. The manager there was power washing the returned equipment and gave our car a quick wash down. Thjanks! Unfortunately we have since been double charged for the rental but thats a different story

I did an after hours pick up untraveled one hour to get a truck just to find the keys were not on the vehicle and the manager or not answer the phone I was charged for the rental even though the online app said I’d be refunded the money I waited for a week and called U-Haul and they said oh rented the vehicle and returned it the next day which is untrue they would not refund my money and said mngmnt would call me in 3 to 5 days with a decision as to if they believe me or not... I also went back the next day during open hours to get my money back and they told me they were no longer online and I would have to go elsewhere

Trailer Pickup I picked up the 6’ by 12’ cargo trailer on October 26, 2017 from Crossroads Self Storage in Windsor, Colorado without incident. The attendant attached the trailer to my pickup truck for me and sent me on my way. I was scheduled to return the trailer on November 2. Trailer Drop Off I was ready to drop off the trailer on October 31, 2017 so I called Crossroads Self Storage at 4:59 PM and I asked how late they were open. They replied that they close at 5:00 PM so I knew I would have to return it in the morning. I arrived at 9:05 AM on October 1st at Crossroads Self Storage to drop off the trailer. I had to leave the truck and trailer in the driveway since the facility is gated. I went into the office and told “K**” (a young male) that I needed to return the trailer. He said he could not perform the trailer return because U-Haul has cut off Crossroads Self Storage and he could not even log in to the website. He said I would have to return it somewhere else. I told him it was a local rental and it had to be returned at Crossroads Self Storage. He said he could not do it. He said he could call U-Haul, but I declined (because secretly, I wanted to talk to U-Haul myself). I asked “K**” if he could open the gate so that I could turn around in their facility and not have to back the trailer out of the drive. He said he would do that, so I left and went to my truck. I waited about 45 seconds for the gate to be opened and then gave up and backed out of the driveway. I went down the street and called U-Haul. I explained the problem to the first lady I talked to and she said that this is a strange situation. She forwarded me on to the “scheduling department” so that they could handle re-routing my return. The next lady said that as far as she knew the trailer had to be returned to Crossroads Self Storage. She verified this with the district manager. She told me to go back and tell the attendant that the trailer must be returned there and that he has to accept it. I asked the lady to remain on the line as I went back into the office. I went in the office and “K**” was talking to the district manager and he pretty much ignored me. Once he got off of the phone I told “K**” that he has to take my return and asked, “Where do I put the trailer?” He said to put it in any open slot. I said, “I will put it where it is easiest for me”. So, unassisted I parked the trailer, found some chalk blocks, un-chained the trailer, lifted that heavy-assed trailer by myself off of the hitch and left it there. I then went into the office and asked about some paper work. “K**” said I will not get any. So I said, “I am returning the trailer and not getting any paper work? How is anybody going to know in what condition I returned the trailer and if I returned everything?” That just warranted a shrug. By now I was seething due to the incompetence, unhelpfulness and total ineptness of “K**”. I did not yell at “K**” but I am sure he knew I was not happy. What should h

I have used Uhaul many times as our work takes us many different locations. I have NEVER been treated or spoke to the way the man did me today. I WILL NOT use that location when we move to our next location. If I can’t find a close location, I will use a different company. I don’t care what the cost is. When I reserve a truck, and I am told it will be at a certain location I expect it to be there. I went to 2 locations was told truck would be there. Each time the truck was not available. I reserved truck a week in advance your customer service needs lots of improvement. It took me 2 hours to get a truck and it was much smaller than what I needed, so we had to make 2 trips to get everything that would have fit in the size I requested. I am very disappointed with u haul customer service.
