I could not get logged in to turn the truck back in after hours. I attempted several times and finally called the 800 number and talked to someone at corporate who said they would put a note on my account to not charge me the $20 for not turning it in correctly. I have not seen whether or not that happened. Waiting for my bill to confirm.Other than that it was great.

Everything was amazing.
The gentlemen who helped us at Pinnacle Storage were wonderful and very helpful. However the U-Haul app and website were both down and working incredibly slow, the reservation we made had to be transferred to a different location because the first location could not access their computer. Then at the second location the website continuously denied our card or simply wouldn't load and caused us to be there waiting for a website to load for over 2 hours and majorly delayed our moving and packing and was quite an inconvenience. The employees were wonderful but I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to anyone, we were supposed to start our move at noon and weren't even able to get started til 3 PM. We did what we were supposed to by reserving in advance and using the app but were still delayed hours. Very frustrating experience for us and the employees at Pinnacle. Again the employees were kind and patient and we appreciated their help.

My girlfriend was told at pickup that there would be a $100 deposit refunded at drop off. That did not occur. We were then told it would be put back on the card it was charged to within a couple of days. That also did not happen. I then left a voice mail for the district manager whose name and number were listed at this location and never received a return call. Brutal service. Or lack thereof.
The staff was super helpful and were very nice. I would rent from this location again.
The person who rented the vehicle to me was very helpful and personable, unlike previous experiences. The person at drop_off, no complaints either.
This was by far the BEST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with renting a vehicle. I would GLADLY rent from this location in the future. Staff person was personable and professional, transaction was quick and very smooth, truck was immaculate.

Dolly was in cargo loose because retaining bracket was missing parts. Had to upgrade truck (at no additional charge) but the truck I got was dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke (ashes still in ashtray) and was horrible on gas. Approximately 10 miles from Virginia border, exhaust system failed creating a horrible (possible damaging) sound. Called emergency line three times and received horrible service from first two assistants. Third assistant seemed genuinely concerned but not very knowledgeable. Did not receive any resolution in three hours so I researched the issue, found that the exhaust pipe had rusted through after the catalytic converter and continued trip without assistance after ensuring that the damage would not adversely effect the engine. This was the second incident with Uhaul with less than favorable results. The previous week, I rented a 26' truck and car dolly and before I left the county, the fender on the car dolly became detached which shredded the dolly tire and created significant damage to my car. I was recouped most of the money spent on the car dolly but I am left with a car that has been damaged and the only response I was given was "file a claim". I don't know who to file a claim with. This move has been a disaster and unfortunately Uhaul was not the sole cause but had contributed a large portion of frustration and financial burden. I do not foresee recommending Uhaul services to anyone nor using these services in the near or distant future. The real shame of it is that I have not had any issues of this magnitude with Uhaul before and now I have experienced major issues on multiple levels in the span of two weeks with three different Uhaul providers.
