I came in a couple of days prior to picking up the trailer. I provided my information, such as my name, address, phone number and secured the equipment with a credit card. When I came into pick up the equipment, the u haul reresentative was sitting at the computer assisting a customer. There was another u haul employee, a gentelmen, who seemed to be in a rush, he quickly went out the side door. I stood inside the store and looked at items, while the young lady worked with the customer. It was approximately 10 to 15 minutes before another employee came into the office area, I believe her name was Mrs. Escoto, I could be wrong. During the time I was waiting, another customer had walked in as well, and he too was waiting. Mrs. Escoto promptly assisted me, and eventually I was able to leave with my equipment rental. Let me explain what was most aggravating to me, in this scenario. Not ONE time did the young lady who was assisting the customer when I walked in, acknowledge me as a customer. Nor did she acknowledge the other customer who walked in while I was waiting.........nothing, zilch, goose-egg, nada, not a single word! I moved to Phoenix from Montana, where I owned and operated a Vermeer Agriculture equipment rental store. So I have extensive knowledge with customer service, and is the primary reason for me taking the time to share my experience with you, in hopes that you may correct this issue, at this particular u haul site. Every customer that walks in to your facility, needs to feel welcomed, and that feeling needs to be genuine. I cannot stress enough that every employee needs to understand that everyone needs to be acknowledged with a "Hello, or good morning, how can I help you, or Hello, I will be right with you or I will get someobe to assist you ASAP". When I walked in to pick up my equipment, the u haul representative did not even look up at me, nor did she say hello, or I will be right with you. That lack of acknowledgementof any customer is, disrespectful. Not just as a customer, but as a human being. If allowed to continue, it will slowly degradate your customer base, one customer at a time. I strongly suggest whom ever owns and operates this particular u haul store, use this as a teaching point, not as catalyst to reprimand anyone. I did have to give more attention to "millenial employees" when I owned my store, as they were born in a different generation, and dont see the value of a simple gesture, as acknowledging a customer. Not their fault, they just need to be taught, and understand. It is a generational issue for some, not all, but it does help an owner to understand and use the information to correct an issue such as this one. Also, get some walkie-talkie, so employees can contact others who are out in the yard checking or working equipment, when they need help in the store front, that would help immensely. I will continue to use this particular u haul store as I look forward to experiencing the posit

I was told that I could return the van outside of office hours, however, the instructions on the website were not explained to me at all. The online instructions were more detailed than the verbal instructions I recieved. There were no issues with the drop off, just a little frustration. Otherwise, great service!

we were given a sheet for the gas we filled it to where the mark was and they said it wasn't enough so we had to leave get more gas and ended up giving more than what we got.

Had a small issue when I reserved it on line. I didn’t complete the reservation. Sale rep fixed my mistake and was treated with great service. Will rent again.

The drop off was almost 30 miles from my home in Maricopa. Uhaul would not change it to a Maricopa location. Had I known that at the start I would not have rented from Uhaul. I should have received a price reduction for my inconvenience. There are plenty of drop off spots in Maricopa. I did not rent from Uhaul for their convenience.

NO pickup trucks! So the location had theirs stolen. So what. REPLACE THEM!! When you need a pickup you need a pickup. Not a van or a moving van truck. This van stunk like dead gerbals. NASTY. The staff was ok.

Yes this location did a fantastic job compared to the previous location that I was going to use on Sprague and Adams in Spokane Valley the owners name was Greg coil and that crew was very rude and not helpful at all I will never ever suggest anybody using that place ever again

There was a mix-up as I reserved a truck, but reservation couldn't be found. However, the young man I worked with, matched what my reservation would have been, and I was able to and get my moving done. Thank you for allowing your representatives the ability to take care of the customer.

Truck was old and dirty. Had problems with the steering, A/C, gear shift and ignition switch. Truck had over 84,000 miles and should be taken out of service.

Three young guys helped me checkin. I pulled into the wrong area and one guy ran out and guided me. When pulled up, the second two helped me out and one guy recommended I fill up the gas myself, which saved me $40. They were fair and polite. I appreciate this experience and look forward using U-Haul again in the future.
