I originally made the reservation for Labor Day not knowing U-Haul was not open Labor Day. I went with Moving Help too. The workers showed but I couldn't get a truck. Maybe don't rent to people on a holiday? It all worked out in the end.

The only thing was exterior of truck could have been washed. Especially the windshield. I needed to move some sod from home depot. The location was perfect and service was fast.

The equipment was filthy inside and out. The contract from the previous renter was still in the van, on the floor. Grimy, sticky cup holders, dirty floormats. Outside covered in black dirt. Couldn't see thru the dirty mirrors and windows. My contract was marked "full" tank, but was 200 miles less than full. There was an alarming mechanical problem with the gas pedal and also the brakes when backing up, but the store agent showed no interest in the safety of the next customer. They didn't even apologize when I notified them. I would rent from Uhaul again, but not from this location.

Found trash in the vehicle upon pick-up and didn't seem as though the dash had been wiped down or cleaned recently. However, the vehicle drive was great and the reservation process was smooth and efficient!

I did not fully read contract so did not anticipate the 1.09 a mile charge counter person said " that's how they get you" I don't plan on renting in the future!!

I rented this same van on Thursday and returned Friday morning. When I picked it up Saturday there was dog hair all over the seats and I am very allergic to dogs. Not sure if there is a "no pets in truck" policy, but a cleaning between uses if this is noticed would be nice.

Was charged $14 for insurance (6 hour rental) that I did not need or ask for. I gave them 24 hours to credit my card or will report it to them as fraudulent business practices & also file a complaint with the CA dept of Insurance.

I received an email confirmation after my reservation to confirm my cargo van at a specific location with the pick up time I requested. After arriving to the location and address provided by the confirmation email, it was not open yet. Came back at the opening time and I was told that was not where my reservation was located. I was then directed to a further location. I went to that location and they had the reservation there, but as I was paying, I received a phone call by another party to confirm my reservation. Which made me over an hour late from all the waiting and driving around.
