I'm a regular renter of uhauls I had an unusual issue with my rental last night, I put $28 (4.44 cost per gallon = over 6gallons of gas) proceeded to drive the truck 2-3 miles and the gas gauge Did NOT go up in fact went down. I went for a second time and put and additional $26 of gas (at the same dollar amount per gallon ) and upon turning truck on the gas finally registered that gas had been added my problem is I know with out a shadow of a doubt that I should not have needed to add additional money for a trip that intially was 19.5 miles all additional miles were me trying to understand the gas issue non the less I would really appreciate an adjustment to my charge for the $26 of additional gas that should not have needed to be added. Oh and I did click I would recommend to a friend but PLZ understand the staff is great I don't want them portrayed any different my issue is they need more equipment to continue to service the community appropriately multiple Dollys (piano, regular , appliance) WHICH ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

GERARD QMy total distance for the rental was 2 miles. Had to bring 2 big, heavy boxes back to Home Depot from my house less than a mile away, but the receipt shows that I'm getting charged for gas for $10.20. I'm pretty sure I didn't even use a gallon of gas, let alone 2 gallons.
RONALDO OI think my big frustration was the charge for the extra gas. When the truck was given to me it was written as 1/4 tank. As soon as I started the truck the dash panel indicated 36 miles to low. I returned it at 32 miles to low and was charged for 6 gallons. The truck had trash and debris inside. Found a half full box of cigarettes under the seat.

Diana cI was pleasantly surprised with my whole experience. From when I walked in, and promptly and greeted, to the point I dropped it back off. I wish I could personally thank the person who assisted me both at the start of the day and the end, she was fantastic, not just answering my questions, but making the whole rental process super comfortable! My moving helped also commented on how clean and well maintained the truck was.

India WJust don't particularly like uhual over all wasn't the location or the people they were nice. I don't understand why I should pay before and after for the little bitty truck and put gas ? It's crazy. The process on the phone was not good either. Kept not working and restarting. Just wish it could be better.

NATHANIEL HTry having some dollys in the location are tell you that no equipment is available for you at this location before you get there.
Larry PThe people was very friendly, attentive and easy-going. Usually I rent u-hauls online and then just pick them up at the location, but this time I had to do eveything from scratch at the location and they were knowledgeable and precise. Strongly recommend them!

Jesse BNEVER USE THEM!!!! I was charged a late fee because the store was closed when I returned it, even though I returned the uhaul an hour earlier than I needed to. UHaul still hasn't refunded my money so I am forced to work with my bank to get the fraudulent charges resolved.
Matthew VTruck is in desperate need of maintenance. I'm sure the misfire and oil leak isn't going to help fuel consumption we are putting back into the truck. Ashtray still had someone's ashes in there that made the truck smell pretty bad and it was dirty inside like it hasn't been cleaned for some time

Derek AMake sure that when a customer mentioned the equipment condition such as a flat tire / low air tire go check it or ask your agent to go put air in it. Otherwise the customer will end up on the road side meeting assistance due to a blown tire. Then your district manager will show up on the road, while you're waiting for a tow truck.

MARIA NI was disappointed due to the reservations I had. I scheduled it with a person on the phone and requested it to be at a closer location. So when I went to pick it up it wasn't the right spot and had to pay $100 more than I wanted.

Adam AU-Haul changed the location on us after we had arrived at the initial location. We were supposed to have contactless key delivery which didn't happen. It took ALMOST AN HOUR to take all the pics and get all the info uploaded in order to get the key. We were late picking up furniture b/c of this. The app asked for a PASSPORT!! Who carries a passport with them. We were lucky in that my husband had his passport card with him. We should've been notified that this was required. What a mess!

vance vLocation did great, but they had to make an exception because they generally don't accept one-way returns. Why did Uhaul send me to a place that had to make an exception to let me dropoff?

JEREMY CI was told that the tank was full but it was not (I drove 22 miles and had to put 5+ gallons to fill the tank). Windshield was filthy. The desk clerk was just terrific!
pierre tMake sure your uhaul is running properly. I had to have your truck towed from my driveway because it wouldn't start after calling roadside assistance 2 different times. Then had to get another uhaul the next day and now I have two pending uhaul contracts. So basically I have paid double for this truck. I will not be using uhaul again.
