I rented a truck for just a couple of hours. There was trash inside the cab that we did clean out as we left. Worst part about day was when we were trying to return the vehicle. We pulled up to the gate to return the vehicle after 7. Our code was invalid. It read something to the effect of code was no longer valid. I called a few phone numbers and after 15 minutes managed to get a gut on the phone.He did mention that he was told by the lady on duty that the code would expire. That tells me she knew we were not going to be able to get back in. Why she did not get us a valid code is a great question. Poor customer service. ... luckily another person showed up to enter the area. As they went in I just followed behind them. When they left I did the same thing. I just slipped out. I did not feel like waiting for anyone to come let us in to get our car out. Your on call emergency guy was on his way I know. I do hope the next time there is better communication.

They left me with less than a quarter tank of gas, so I had to maneuver a 17ft vehicle in/out gas station. Fill up the gas at/above 1/2 tank gas.

Truck was stuck in ice when I arrived to rent; another customer had to pull it out with a tow rope. Ceiling of truck leaked. All of my belongings were wet -couch and mattresses soaked all the way through. Was charged $45 for fuel..drove a lousy 17 miles AND put $20 of gas in myself. Rental desk clerk was nice; but remaining experience unacceptable. Will not rent from this location again.

Truck was dirty with loose tobacco when I arrived, location said it was open but when I arrived no one was there working, I didn’t receive the moving pads or dolly, was told I would be contacted within the next two days about the rental, but it took a couple weeks. I wouldn’t recommend u haul to anyone, I have deleted the app and would rather use any other service besides u haul in the future, really bad experience from start to finish.

Our truck was covered snow and got stuck trying to leaving its parking spot. The gate to leave the facility was also broken..so i had to climb over the gate and drive through the entrance.

I was very frustrated to have received a different vehicle than what I arranged. Your service agent was very friendly and respectful as he explained it to me but, regardless, I made the reservation particularly to have that vehicle and was not pleased that it was given to the customers who arrived before me.

Instructions for drop off not clear. Gate broken and code not given, ended up waiting around a lot and calling the number provided, waiting in cold weather. Would go into an actual store if I ever use Uhaul again

The van was covered in snow and a thick sheet of ice. It took 25 minutes to scrape it off in -10° weather. The power steering also seemed to be not working well in the cold. It was an overall miserable experience.

Temps when I arrived were 15 to 20 below and truck was buried in snow and not ready for pickup. Having rented U-Haul in the past, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The equipment wasn’t ready and I had to carry out to my truck- 2-hand trucks/ 2-4 wheel dollies/ 1 dz. moving blankets. The following day (return day) it was historically cold. The truck wouldn’t start (dead battery) went to several places looking for jumper cables and they were sold out. Called the location to tell them of the situation and nobody answered. Had to drive to the location to explain my situation and was told by the female office worker that I had “all of her dollies”, the male office worker questioned if all of the jumper cables “in the world” were sold out. I was told to contact the U-haul roadside assistance, which I didn’t opt in for coverage and maybe they would help me. When I was finally able to return the truck (4 hours late) I was informed I would be charged an additional day. In between all of this I had to load and unload the U-Haul and begin unpacking. U-haul did not live up to my basic customer service experience expectations.

The only small issue I had was that there wasn't washer fluid in the tank and it was a bright sunny day so hard to see through a dirty windshield. Not a huge deal as there was a gas station on my route so I could clean it but would have been nice not to have to worry about it. Everything else about my experience was excellent, especially the woman working there!

Make sure to tell people that the drop off location will be closed. Change the address so it takes you to the right place. Make it not so dark so you can see what you’re doing

The tire pressure in the front left tire was low. The instructions were not correct in getting my vehicle at first.
