I rented a UHaul for Sunday, April 18. On Sunday I went to confirm my UHaul info via my iPhone. I was not able because the UHaul server was down. I drove over to UHaul to pickup the truck -up with a high level of frustration. There was another customer ahead of me when I walked in the office area. The women behind the counter was explaining that the server was down and she was very kind in explaining the process that needed to be followed. She apologized for having us give her the same info that was in the system. - but she could not access because of the server being down.She was so professional, kind, and sensitive to our level of frustration. By her explaining to us the situation and with her kind demeanor - my level of the frustration-was gone and I drove away being a happy customer. When I reflect back on Trish Sanford's excellent customer service - I hope UHaul is appreciative of her being a great professional Customer Service Representative. Thank you Trish - I will be back because of your service and kindness.Esther W.

I was charged for loving blankets that I did not receive! I also wasn't helped in dropping off the equipment and no one answered the phone to help. I felt treated differently and ignored. Horrible experience! Please fix. I will never recommend this service.Cherish O.
No one was there to help me when I arrived. When I called the number posted I received a very unfriendly tone for calling even though I was there at my scheduled pickup time and was told the employee would be there in five minutes. Then, the employee didn't appear to know how to look up my registration or to have any knowledge of the online reservation system including whether or not I had already paid. All in all, I would not recommend this business to anyone.Joel C.

Make sure bookings that are made in advance are actually ready. I booked my truck out a month before and when got there they said they didn't have one for me. It took 45 min for them to figure out where and how to get me a truck which caused lots of issues for the rest of our moving day. The truck was very dirty and full of trash bits in the front driving area. It was also extremely beat up with a cracked front bumper. I was also charged double for what i was quoted and was not explained why. I will be seeking to get a refund. It seems as if the workers are not properly trained and there is extremely poor communication between people. They had to re-do a forms multiple times and were expressing out loud that they didn't know how to do thier job. I would give 0 stars if i could. Especially if i am not refunded for how I was extremely over charged.Hannah F.

I was questioned by the front desk guy several times about getting insurance and since I opted out to take really good pictures before and after. I was given extended hours which I didnt need as it seemed as if they were wanting to push off me bringing back the trailer. The back of the truck was dirty, had blankets on the floor, dolly was not attached, and wrappers were left in the front.GARRET D.
A number of hidden, unexplained charges on my bill totaling $60 on an $80 rental. I would never go to this UHaul location again.James E.
Provide the Gate Code for Drop Off to make it available when you log-in to your account. Gate code was shown one single time during pick up then disappears for good. Another customer and myself were dropping trucks off and sat an waited 30+ minutes at 8pm to get in the locked space. No one answered after hours calls and U-Hauls main-line we sat on hold for 25+ minutes. Also Don't double charge customer's, including an unnecessary cleaning fee, then not respond to a customer service request via email. I still haven't been refunded.Ryan T.
Arrived at 9 am to pick up and no employee showed up till about 9:30. Then also had ordered a dolly, employee asked if we wanted a dolly, when we replied yes-they said they didn't have one.JORY A.

The location was difficult to find because there was little uhaul signage visible from the road, the staff member was very rude.Randall J.
The attendant was extremely nice and professional. The truck cab had Cheetos all over the cup holder and floor. The steering wheel was dirty and I had to stop to buy gloves to be able to even touch the steering wheel. Plus the box was also dirty and full of leaves. It also had a pungent Oder and made all my belongs smell bad like that Oder. When I went to check out or turn in the truck I noticed the rear outside driver wheel was bald. I was upset about the truck was not clean but was really mad that Uhual would release a truck with poor tire because that is a life safety issue. Entrance and office are poorly marked. Your instructions and communication should include how to handle issues after you pick up a truck.Luis B.

This truck is a mechanical disaster, The "Check engine" light cam on almost immediately after pick-up and at one point, it wouldn't start, which made me an hour later than I expected to be finished. It also kept going into low-gear, towing for no reason which I had to constantly turn off. The process for pickup/dropoff is also not user-friendly. It's just bad customer service. I took 3 photos of the dashboard mileage on return and your app didn't accept any of them. It was fortunate that the rental units manager was there to open the gate for me and complete my check drop off. I rate this entire experience the worst ever.Eric C.
The staff and equipment were good. Slight problem in that they couldn't find the keys for the truck I had reserved, but they put me in a different truck. The online experience was HORRIBLE. I hired movers through UHaul and was supposed to use the app to tell UHaul the work was done so the movers could be paid. Neiether I nor the movers could find the screen to do that, so I had to call customer service and spend 40 minutes on hold so the movers could get paid. Then I returned the truck after hours, which also required use of the online app. The app couldn't find my rental contract so I had to, once again, call customer service, who left a message for the employees at the return site. Customer service asked me to call the return site the next morning to verify everything was processed correctly but none of my 8-10 calls was answered. They all went to voice mail, and I never got a call back. I received a receipt by email a couple days later and everything was processed correctly.Gary D.

The Uhaual rep was not at the location when I arrived, so I could not get in the gate and I had to leave and come back later. It also took a long time (over 20 minutes) to give all the information and sign paperwork before I could take the truck.Jessica D.

Your App, which you suggest using, does not work at all, one big run around and your online check in does not work in anyway that is useful for picking up a truck. Three different representatives on the phone had no idea how to help us or how to work the uhaul app. We had a three hour delay just to pick up the truck by following your instructions. Our truck was full of wet packing blankets (hence unusable). The panel that enclosed the cab from the engine would not close making it loud and hot. The truck itself drove well.Michael N.

Apparently reserved 3 uhauls instead of one probably because the website didn't confirm the reservation and created multiple. Got a call from someone 20 minutes after renting the uhaul asking if I wanted the other 2 and that they'd been tracking my account. Why not reach out ahead of time if it looks suspicious?Ann F.
The customer service representative who checked out the truck to us was SO RUDE. She was frustrated that I created the reservation, but my boyfriend was going to drive (it messed up the phone numbers or something g?). She did not make eye contact or greet us or anything. The guy at the front desk was talking about some sort of racist scenarios while i was at the counter it was really uncomfortable and unprofessional. Apparently we are not sopose to be inside the office but there is no sign. I didnt drive the truck even 5 miles, the gas pin hadnt moved but he insisted it did and charged me for it. Let me know that the extras I requested, moving blankets and a dolly, are not available so I would have had time to make other arrangements. Instead I was notified when I picked up the truck. Also, the gates were difficult to open and no one was initially there to help. When they finally answered they were rude. Encourage them to be more professional and not comment on my id picture. Pickup process was easy. Staff was friendly and provided assistance when needed. The truck itself was could have used a bit of TLC since it had numerous scratches (they were documented but since there were so many it was hard to tell if I missed something as I looked over the truck). Stood in the heat while the two employees sat in the A/C office, splitting their attention between me and talking about someone who was having an affair. Nice. Front gate required special access because apparently it was Fort Knox. Didn't have the number of pads I requested, and apparently my number of three dozen was too outlandish. It was very easy to pick up. The one exception was I had entered a pick up time of 3:00, but didn't get there until about 4:15 and it said the reservation was cancelled. I did chat with an agent who did quickly change it so I could pick it up, but I don't know why it is cancelled so shortly after the requested pick up time requiring extra work to get it reinstated.Mike M.

This was an utterly awful experience. We arrived at 7am for pickup and did not leave until almost 9am. The online process to check in failed numerous times, even though I provided all the correct information. Then we were not able to get validated on the phone either. They kept telling us to wait until the place opened up, but that cut 2 hours out of our moving day. A supervisor should have been able to verbally verify me and not just tell me to try the online process again. I will never rent with UHAUL ever again after this miserable experience.eric C.
1. Have a phone number for site that is answered. This is a locked storage facility not a uhaul rental storefront. 2. Had no blankets or dolly that were promised and requested w rental. 3. I was trying to explain I would be a little bit late with my return when the location HUNG UP ON ME mid sentence. They started off firmly demanding I return the vehicle hours before my reservation ended because the â€œother customer was already thereâ€. Sounds like they overbooked and took it out on me. Drove the vehicle under 20 miles round trip and was charged for 7 gallons of gas â€" how does that even make sense?? Will never use this location again.Zachary N.
