Site says you can pick up during any hours, so I scheduled extra early in the morning. But, no one provided me with a code to get in the gate. Called number on sign, no answer, called 1 800 number she sent me a link to a video to watch. Called 1 800 again and she tried to call "owner" no answer. I finally entered gate with someone else to access the lock box and truck. Also rented a dozen moving blankets and there were only 2 in the truck. Wouldn't recommend this location. And would think twice about relying on the after hours system to be managed well.Susan S.

U-Haul did not have the 20' truck that I reserved on-site. I have to go to another location a few miles down the road, have the original transaction cancelled and start a new reservation from scratch. I have never had a bad experience at other U-Haul locations but this was truly a bad one.Abrham D.

The representative called me ahead of pickup to confirm my order to prep the equipment for my arrival. Only issue was that the their printer was low on ink so the receipt was hard to read.Hugo W.
Fuck you for emailing me at 10pm first of all. You changed the location of my pickup and then had to wait 20 min outside a gate before getting the vehicle. The vehicle came with a dolly, I never wanted it and debated leaving it in a ditch because I hardly fit. What a pain in the ass experience uhaul added to my already pain in the ass move. You guys should know what moving is like and you obviously are completely dumb. Never renting again from such clowns. Terrible customer service and unorganized. You guys jerked me around so much it was a fucking joke. Get it together you idiots.Tosland H.

Could have had people in site when the time is started to open so we didn't have to wait for almost 45 minutes to pick up our truck. I understand if people are short staffed. I work in the service industry and get rated the same so I will give 5 star. I don't want any of the people on site to get a bad rating. The people were awesome. Just hope others don't have to wait as long.Michael B.

The attendant was almost an hour late keeping me & two other customers waiting to pick up our trucks. Myself and one other customer reserved a dolly & the location had zero. Your App that was recommended for checking back in is trash - it wouldn't upload photos. Finally went to website to complete. The U-Haul also had zero windshield wiper fluid for a sloppy winter dayDeanna D.
The receipt lists an "After Hours Service Fee" of $20 when I returned the truck on time, returned the truck during normal operating hours for 2/19/2022, and checked in the truck with the operator in the office. I tried to get the check-in online to come up several times, but it wouldn't load on my phone. The office operator also tried to get it to work on my phone and was unsuccessful. Because of this, he said he would check me in and close out the rental for me on his computer. Why was I still charged for after hours? The receipt also list a "Sales Item" of $5.00 on my bill. Is this supposed to be a rebate of some kind, or is this just an item that is actually part of the overall service? It says to look below for details about it, but there is no info on the receipt about this "Sales Item". item. Let me be clear, the employee in the office was friendly and helpful. This isn't meant to be a negative reflection on him. It looks like your corporate billing practices and guidelines have something to be desired.DAVID A.

It is not clear that this is a self-storage location where you have to park outside. That is super inconvenient. The first truck I was assigned would not start. Fortunately, there was another available truck. When I came to return the truck, the website hung up on me twice. Auto pick-up and drop-off is NOT easy. You need to fix some things there.Brian H.
The folks behind the counter were great, but the entrance is very confusing. And, when we got to our first truck (after going through check-in) it had a broken windshield wiper. Thankfully, we had tested it before we took off, so we could switch trucks.Stacia G.

I reserved a furniture mover, but there wasn't one for me. I rented one of those from a competitor down the street, resulting in 2 extra stops. Upon return the electronic gate was stuck and would not open. It was very cold day and I didn't have a pen so I had to leave a message for the emergency number in the snow. After finding out the gate was jammed I manually pushed it up. There were used facial masks in the cab of the van. Friendly staff!Alex P.

The web applications and U-haul app are really bad. The customer experience is extremely clunky (i.e., constantly having verification codes sent to my phone, needing to have locations services turned on, not being able to use a photo from your library, etc.).JEFFREY P.

Your rep (Amber) was very nasty to me. She pretended she couldn't find the truck when we returned it before 6:00 p.m. as the young man told us. We used the gate key, put in the same amount of gas, cleaned the truck (I swept it real good and folded up the rugs). Then she tried to pretend you all close early on Saturdays when the young man told us it's @6:00 and if he's not there what to do and that is what we did. I don't appreciate her getting smart and I told her I was going to talk to headquarters which I haven't yet but I will.Barbra M.

The new building was across the street from the old U-Haul parking lot and office building. It would've been helpful if there was a message or sign stating to go across the street. A UPS delivery person and I had no clue so he could not make the delivery. I had to call customer service to have them let me know that the office was across the street for the storage building.Eng X.

Not a problem with this location, but the mobile check-in process. I opted for the mobile check-in, but when I arrived at the location, it would not recognize I was there, so it didn't work for me. I was able to check in at the office (great service) but office was closed when I returned the truck. Mobile check-out did not work for me, and I waited on hold for an hour to speak to Uhaul customer service, only to be disconnected before I could speak to somebody. I was charged a $20 fee for not completing mobile check-out. I've requested a refund, but have not heard anything. I don't have more hours to wait to speak to somebody on the phone, so I'm disappointed in this experience and extra unexpected expense.Andrew W.
The phone e-mail links were different and less informative than a previous rental from U-Haul one month ago at a different location. They wanted to change a penalty fee for not using the U-Haul app.MARK H.
Make sure employees know what they are doing. Did not give accurate information. 0 customer service skills did not look at me at all. She told us we needed to download the app and take pictures before we left then take pictures when we returned we had struggles setting up and I count from the app when we called 800 U-Haul they said we did not need to download the app or take pictures before I spent more time in check out and return then it did to pick up the item unload and go back to U-Haul to drop off it was a terrible experience extremely frustratingPaul M.

Charged $26 for gas even though I returned it with the same amount that I got it (3/4 of a tank). I paid for gas on my credit card and still got charged by Uhaul. The woman behind the desk said she would fix it when I told her the link was charging me. Nothing changed on the final bill when she checked it in.Sarah M.

I was overcharged for my rental. I returned my rental earlier than expected, and not only that, I only put about 10 miles on my rental, which was 20 miles fewer than my estimated driving distance, but I was charged for driving 70 miles and the photo I took on the app can verify that. Plus, constantly changing the amount I was charged is ridiculous when I upheld my end on the estimation on how long I needed the truck as well as how much driving I was doing.Noah M.

I scheduled my reservation for a UHAUL dealer in Minneapolis. When I got there, they told me my reservation had been moved. I had not been informed of this prior to my arrival. This ended up costing me more money as I was charged MORE mileage than I originally had planned for and cost MORE to refill the gas tank. I am not sure I will reserve another truck from UHAUL after this experience.BRITTANY B.

Re: vehilcle. There were problems with starting the ignition.Also, a metallic clanging sound...like exhaust or heat shield problem. And, truck puts out an occasional high pitched squeal. This is primarily a self storage facility so it wasn't immediately obvious it is also a u-haul location. No problems with the drop off. If you have furniture pads, be sure to fold them prior to returning. I did so, and the agent told me I would have been charged extra if I hadn'tPETER N.
When I showed up, it took over half an hr to get the truck. And the employee wasn't sure which truck I was supposed to use. I paid for 3 dollies and furniture pads and none of the equipment was in the truck. When we returned to try to get equipment, the attendant was no where to be found. We called 10+ times, no answer. Had to go to another facility. It was a huge headache and it delayed my move by 1.5 hrs. Not to mention then had to go to that separate facility to return the items which was a lot of extra driving and stress on a moving day. Truly will never go back to this location and will recommend no one else go there.Lauren J.
We had reserved our U-Haul for pick-up prior to office open. The employee working close on the prior day had not put the key into the lockbox for us and the window of the truck was left open in the rain. We called and were told to wait ~20 min for the office to open. Luckily, we were helped quickly and readily upon office open. The furniture blankets we had requested were also not set in the truck, but we were able to get those as well. Drop-off was very easy, and as the office was still open we were able to return the truck quickly. While entering the location was easy for pick-up, I can't recommend this location for equipment pick-up outside of office hours. However, once there the office staff were helpful, polite, and apologetic for the delay.Samuel H.

Holy Jesus your mobile app is hot trash. If you're going to force people to use it to check it make sure that it can actually upload pictures. It took 3 phones to finally be able to get the odometer picture to actually upload, and I triple checked to make sure the permissions were correct. I will do my best to never have to deal with U-Haul ever again because of this.Max W.
