When I picked up the truck the manager had waived the milage but told me that there was a1/4 tank of gas and to make sure when I put gas back in, that it read a1/4 tank or more. I did that but when I checked the truck in I got hit with the milage. I don't think that's fair. Whether the manager had the right to do that or not should not fall on me, and I in no way should have to pay for something that I was told I wouldn't. I will, from now on, be looking to rent from a different uhaul.

I order a 17 foot truck on line, they didn't have one so I had to take a 15 foot truck and make 2 trip cost was hire due to mileage.

When i reserved the uhaul, i was never told about the deposit at all. I had to drive 9 miles to pick up the uhaul (thats where they said was the closest), when there was 3 of the truck I reserved only 5 miles away. When i arrived and was paying cash the clerk told me of the deposit. When I told him I didn't have the deposit, he said there was nothing he could do. So I had to go to the nearest Wal-Mart to load money onto my prepaid card and that Wal-Mart was 2 more miles away. I asked the clerk if there was anything that he could do for me for me having to inconvenience myself and he said no. I told him round trip it was 22 miles and even though i returned the truck early, put more gas in because I had went 24 miles, he still charged charged me $5 more. I am so displeased with my first uhaul rental and I feel that this clerk, considering his name badge said owner, could have done more to make this experience better. Something should be done.

I dropped off two pieces of equipment 3 days early and was told they only received one, four days later. I am still taking up time and energy trying to convince the store that I dropped off a Dolly. It is totally unacceptable and incompetent.

You need to verify that the email address provided actually belongs to the customer that is renting the vehicle. I am so tired of my email being used fraudulently by people and having to deal with emails that are not intended for me.

I ordered the trailer online from the Oddie location and even after an online confirmation, I was told that I would have to go to a different location to get my trailer but that I could drop it off at the Oddie location. When I went to drop off the trailer at the end of the day I was told that I have to drop it off where I picked it up from. The people at both locations were friendly but the computer system not knowing what is or isn’t on site really needs to be addressed as this was very frustrating.
