They should look over their equipment for nails in their tires when getting the trucks back. They also need more cashiers available. No one wants to do it; they're all behind the counter just watching the line get longer but not one wants to jump in and help so the lines just keeps getting longer and longer. They also need better resources to problem solve when issues occur
Everything there was a mess systems were down never had good experience there.

Pulled up, U-Hall rep. unhooked, verified email address and we were done. Never had to get out of the truck.
Truck was good and clean, and the staff was friendly. My major, MAJOR complaint is with the MObile Uhaul check-in process. The Mobile Uhaul pickup that I had to do (since I was picking up my truck before this location opened up) was horrendous!! It took several attempts for the agent to confirm my identity and all of my information. It would be a tremendous help if you would state that you are calling my alternate contacts, since most of my contacts were sleeping when I was picking up my truck and the agents kept kicking me out for "not having all of my information ready" and made me restart the process again, meaning I had to scan my license and take pictures and wait forever for another agent to confirm my identity. It took 30 minutes from the time I got to the Uhaul location until I was able to complete the process. After the 2nd agent couldn't reach my sleeping alternate contacts and made me restart the process, I was extremely tempted to just drive away with the truck since the keys were underneath the seat, had the 3rd attempt not worked I would have!! You should strongly consider adding more details on the Uhaul Mobile check-in websites because the critical details (like calling alternate contacts prior to completing the process) are not there. I'll never use the Uhaul Mobile check-in again after this fiasco, I'd rather pay more for a Penske or Enterprise truck just so I don't waste half an hour on this BS.
transaction #28549370. this was the worst experience that I ever had with uhaul. first, they were way understaffed, so the line was out the door, and I had to wait 45 minutes to get the truck. they said the tank was full. I got in and started the truck. I noticed the fuel guage would not go all the way to full. I made 1 trip, less than 15 miles. I went to the gas station and topped off the gas tank. at 1.66 worth the gas, I looked down and gas was pouring out on the ground. "its full" I said. this morning I received my final bill and it showed I returned it under empty, and was charged 8.50 for fuel. yes I was ripped off! I will be contacting the better business bureau, and filing a complaint on this, and I WILL NEVER use Uhaul, or any of its affiliates again. in these times, I would expect businesses to be more honest, and try to make things right. on a lighter note, when I stood in that line WAITING, every customer in front of me, was angry and not happy with the service. they told one lady that she had to leave and go fuel the truck up before she used it. UNBELIEVABLE.
The first thing we were told was that we were going to have to unload the car ourselves or pay an additional $20. This was the first we had heard of this. My husband of 79 with a recent back operation and myself 75 with a recent knee replacement, unloaded the car. Poor customer service.
keep doing what you're doing
first of all, the reservations I made one month in advance in Susanville were cancelled by you folks the day before pick up. We traveled from Indio, Ca .to Susanville to move what we needed. So in comes Reno instead. I understand the reason for the paperless check in, but some of us folks in the 70 plus, have a hard time even using the cell phone for any thing but calling someone. My husband was very frustrated by the whole experience. Why did we make a reservation one month in advance, when you could not take care of it? We had to go two hours away to get equipment. The job got done, and we are back hone in Indio, Ca. so all is well.
This was my first time at this location. I will definitely return to this one again. The vehicle was clean and the personnel was very helpful, friendly and took the the time to explain the contract and how to properly refill our tank of gas. Appreciated their services!!
Being l did not take a pic of the miles before , which l did not now l had to do l was scammed and charged for a 100 miles when l only drove to two locations in town only 27 miles The computer was also down this day and l only got error messages on my phone

Unit was clean, but one tire was extremely worn and chopped. Called another dealer on my 2000 mile journey to ask if they would replace it and the answer was no. They gave me a phone number to call if it blew.
Rented a trailer, tail lights did not work, brake lights and turns did, so I was able to use daytime only. Put me off a few hours but got the job done. Your assistant manager was very rude, I even told her she was, and I don't tell people that. She needs to learn how to talk to people. I will never use your store again, I will tell everyone I know not to use that store.plus my 88 year old mother in law was taken advantage of by your staff. Yes this store took advantage of a little old woman. I hope karma gets to them.
The wait time for service at the counter was too lengthy. I ordered my rental and submitted required documentation online, but still had to wait a long time at the counter, perhaps, a priority line for those willing to complete the order online should exist.
Once I got into the truck it said low tire pressure I also had to screw down the gas cap
The cashier/reservation maker (girl) was awful. Her attitude made me want to leave immediately, and apparently I'm not the only one that cringes regarding her attitude. The other gentlemen that check in the trucks and clean them were awesome and were honestly the reason I decided to keep my business at this location.
The lady I worked with was friendly and helpful. The young man who prepared the truck was helpful
The guy who helped me was great! He made sure everything was working properly and when we found out that my right turn signal wasn't working properly he came up with a solution.
This location was EXTREMELY understaffed during both of my visits. Once to purchase boxes and the second to rent the truck. To further add to the frustration; the online check-in web site is poorly thought out and very tedious to use. All the while not realizing I had to stand in the long line anyway to get the keys to the truck. Had I known that I would have just skipped the online check-in and let your poor, overworked, employee stumble through it all.
