The first two reservations were ruined. Uhaul rep made reservation for wrong day twice!! The day before I moved told me my neighborhood uhaul was sold out. Had to drive 30 min to get a truck the next day on moving day! Uhaul recommend I use movinghelp.com I did. That company charged my credit card close to 400$ without my knowledge. Not to mention the moving labor what a disaster. Late, unprofessional and tried to squeeze me for more money they brought there kids and dogs to my home!!!!When I asked if uhaul could give me a coupon or wave any type fee for my troubles for losing my reservation, the women couldnt care less. I will never use uhaul again. The only person who was nice was the lady who checked me in at the Redmond ridge self storage uhaul place. I will add, because of the moving company charging my card over n over, it send my account into a hold at bank of America.. all around an awful experience. Oh yeah cherry on top they rented to someone else a truck in my name. I got a receipt emailed to me with someone else info. Never again will I use uhaul or movinghelp.com

My experience at both my eventual pickup and drop off locations was excellent. I cannot say the same for the UHaul scheduling experience which was diabolical. My pickup was moved from Sammamish to Bellevue to Seattle (which is over 20 miles from home). The drop off was also moved from Sammamish to Redmond.

The only thing I do need to complain is that the initial email I received upon my reservation had a completely different address. Which was closed at the day of the rental (Labor Day). I did actually call this "wrong" location twice (Overlake Towing) in Bellevue and they told me they were going to be opened. Thankfully I called U-Haul and they redirected me to another location that was open and had the available size truck I needed. I do hear lots of complaints about this Overlake Towing location , so I think you guys should check them out since it can end up hurting U-Haul's name.

The location I received the truck was fine. The problem I had was with U-Haul corporate changing the location from which I would receive the truck. The location I would receive the truck was changed twice making me have to drive many more miles, which cost me more money. The corporate website is misleading and dishonest when it says it has a truck available. U-Haul as a corporation needs to work harder to accommodate customers with honesty.

The oil warning light was on when I picked up the truck. I ended up adding two quarts of oil. I was reimbursed by uhaul location, however it would have been nice if the truck had been checked and oil added before I picked it up.

The truck ran horrible. It was shaking so violently you couldn’t drive more than 35-40 on the freeway. Our reservation was screwed up so we couldn’t get the truck we needed at the time or location we had originally reserved it for. All around very bad experience.

I was disappointed that I was not contacted regarding the change in location to pick-up the rental. The change in location, resulted in an additional 20 miles put not he vehicle, resulting in an additional costs. Highly disappointing.

I wish it were more-exacting about the amount of fuel that's in the rental vehicle upon rental. The U-Haul representative warned me, "Now, the fuel tank is FULL, and it needs to be refueled before returning the van." In my case, I drove my rental van for fewer than 70 miles. The fuel-use-estimator indicated an average mpg of about 16.5 mpg. I expected to pump in about four (4) gallons to bring fuel gauge to "full." My rental vehicle took OVER SEVEN GALLONS to fill! Unnecessary extra cost! Doesn't the rental agent (or staff) top off the tank and charge the PREVIOUS renter for the gallons that go in to top off the tank?
