Very good experience. Every individual I met on 1/9 was knowledgeable and helpful. Ground surface outside office had begun to freeze over as I was dropping the van off - Wish I had made a deal about it. It was ripe to have a tired U-Hauler at days end take a fall.

They were unable to accommodate the appropriate size of the truck. They gave me a larger truck that had a taller clearance and made driving through New York City and Brooklyn extremely complicated. Also, the gate was frozen shut and it took me 30 minutes to open it. All of this resulted in a much longer than necessary journey to New York.

questioned tire condition and was assured the tires were OK and checked on all trailers. I put 20-25 psi air in the left hand tire everyday for the 7 days of my trip. I was given a location for drop off which was general and not specific and the location chosen did not take trailers only trucks. I had to move the trailer my self after dropping it at the closed location.

The 24-7 online pickup absolutely did not work—the software looped around and would not go to “pick up my truck”. It kept starting a new reservation. I’d give your software an “F” the people in this location are nice and helpful.

There was confusion with scheduling my trailer and I was asked to return it early. This ended up being a huge inconvenience. The mistake wasn't sorted out until I was already at the drop off location. It would have been nice to have been reimbursed the extra trailer fees. Please try and keep scheduling updated! Thank you.

The usable interior of the 15 foot truck is actually 11'8". The website claims 15 feet. This meant we could not fit everything. This is disappointing and in the future I will rent from penski who's trucks are designed to allow for more usable cargo space.

I made a reservation to rent a Cargo Van from Keegan Auto, North Hampton, NH close to my home for Saturday 12/10/17. The evening before I was due to collect the van the pick-up location was moved to Portsmouth, NH 10 miles away! When I got there on the Saturday the van was still being cleaned but the lady handling my booking was very courteous and it wasn't a big problem. However, when I returned the van on Sunday morning I asked if the extra 20 miles had been deducted from the mileage charged the guy just gave me a shrug and replied that you pay for the mileage used. Not very good customer service if you ask me especially when you factor in the extra time and journey which was out of my way. Uhaul should be more pro-active in this sort of situation and offer some recompense for the inconvenience.

The Poor is more reflective of the Salisbury,MA location. I had reserved a 20ft truck, they did not have one so they upgraded me to a 26ft truck. When I showed up they didnt have a 26ft truck and I had to drive to Portsmouth to get the truck i wanted. This was inconvenient and required extra drive time for not only me but others to get my car in Portsmouth.

Not much. Service was perfect. Truck smelled like cigs and I didn't want a 15 foot truck but they gave me one anyway (I saw 5 empty box trucks sitting in the lot as I was leaving) I would have liked one of those and I did reserve one.

I am an older woman who is not skilled at using a smart phone, so the smartphone procedure for pickup and drop off was Greek to me. I think I am probably not the only older person with this issue. While your young-ish employees probably wonder how I can possibly be so ignorant, it remains a truth that all customers should be treated with respect. The associate who served me when I picked up the truck was very kind and understanding; the associate who was there when I returned it, was not and I was embarrassed. (If this survey goes to the local U-haul location, the kind associate is the guy who, for some reason, had the word "samples" on his name badge-last name?) The not-so-nice one is tall and younger than the first one.) Someday he, too, will be older and clueless about something that the then younger generation will find laughable.
