They were under staffed. I had completed the online express check in but it still took over an hour for me to get checked out. There were six people in line when I got there at 8am.

Used them for a 26' truck to move across town. Picked up the truck at 7am using the application without any issues, except for the fact that all of the equipment I had payed for (furniture dolly, 3 dozen furniture pads, appliance dolly) was not in the back of the truck. I called the night before I picked up and they verified that the equipment was on the truck. I had to go to Home Depot that morning to rent equipment. When I returned the truck, I was initially asked to pay the full price (which included all of the equipment), after they were well aware that the equipment I had preordered was NOT on the truck and tried to charge me for use of the half dozen furniture pads (available on all trucks if you cut the zip tie). Only reason I'm giving three stars is the manager (third person I talked to) gave me a refund for the equipment not provided and did not charge me for the usage of the half dozen furniture pads. Although I did get my refund, I still wasted almost a full hour figuring this situation out - which clearly was not my fault. Thanks to the manager for at least making it right in the end.

Get the equipment to the place on time and call the day before like you say you will, also putting the truck time in the first page of the conformation would have let me catch your error. You have to dig into the conformation email to get the time. I just saw the date was correct and thought all was good. Never again.

I did the online check in, then waited in line for 45 minutes (I was 3rd in line) . The owner had a bit of an attitude and seemed way under staffed. The computers kept freezing ehich compounded the wait time.

This store severely understaffed for the amount of business. Employees left customers standing at checkout to run out and clean/find trucks. I was also asked to hold longer (on hold 30+ minutes) when called in to verify pick up time.

How to help the next customer? Turn them away and tell them not to waste their time and money and the fight to pickup equipment and turn it back in with an antiquated and buggy computer system is not worth the headache. Mayeb pay employees more than minimum wage and try to actually take care of the customer's needs and address the issues. Close down all stores and start the equipment tracking system from scratch. 0/10 -I would not recommend to anyone.

An employee named angela, was the WORST customer service representative I have ever encountered. She was yelling at customers, and employees. Slamming her fists down in the counter, grunting because she was aggravated. It was absolutely horrific watching her help a customer. I felt so bad for the poor lady being helped by her and I felt horrible for her co workers having to up with her. I will not rent from uhaul on 19th ave and bell.

Tried to charge me for extra days when I brought it in on time. They did charge me 14.70 extra for insurance which I expect a refund on. They told me when they charged me it that there would be a refund. I have not seen it yet. Get it refunded.

I've been a customer for a number of years renting varius trailers several times a years when extra equipment is needed. Today I was at the 19ave and Bell store, (Phx,AZ) and was asked to provide a alternate phone number for "verification". When I provided it, the U-Haul associate preceded to call the number. This was my home number and it was 7 in the AM on a saturday. The rest of the house was sleeping. My Question is why would U-Haul need to wake a house-full of sleeping people to "Verify" someone who is in the system and has been a customer for over a Decade? This needs to be fixed!

Brian Richardson did a killer job and appreciate home for keeping us knowledgable of what damages are looked for and other things. He was very nice and pulled the truck up and reinspected it for me before I left for just in case purposes. Due to Brian I would highly recommend this place and will be back June 20th for sure to move to my apartment! Thank you guys so much!
