I believe there was issue with the gas level when we returned the truck the charged me an additional 20 in fuel on top of the 10 i put I drove very little mileage I don't feel the level was listed correctly on my paper workSabrina D.

4'X9' Trailer I rented had one of the 4 round pins in the electric plug smashed flat, possibly by whomever had used it last, and had to be fixed before I could use it. Staff that was there that morning 06/14/21 was very helpful about getting it fixed, but it did cause a delay in time getting Trailer picked up. Staff at this location was good. Maintenance on the equipment needs better attention.JAMES M.
Trucks are not checked for maintenance issues prior to renting out. Amy truck sat in the sun and heat for over 1.5 hours and when I went rostart this truck the battery would not kick over for the truck to start. I called the 19th ave location and they told me to call roadside service Calling roadside service is a joke as not one live person picked up the phone for over 15 min. I logged into haul.com/help and requested roadside service, it stated they received my request for help and I had a tracker but not one person called me to acknowledge my request. I sat out in the heat for over 1 hour and I decided to try the truck one last time and it started. But, I was afraid to turn off the engine for fear I would get stranded again. This experience was awful and I was told the truck I rented had just been returned which tells me no one took the time to see if mechanically it was ok or safe to rent out . My overall experience with haul is poor. I understand the rental location has nothing to do with roadside assistance but they can make sure their equipment is in good working condition not just clean , prior to renting to the next customer. I don't wish what I experienced in 108 degree heat on anyone. Then feeling helpless when requesting help , no one responded except for when I cancelled then the texts flooded my. phone. I was told that the fuel gauge showed 3/4 of a tank after I filled the tank at the local gas station. The pump stopped, so I assumed it was full. I was not charged for it, but i was surprised to hear that the gauge measured 3/4 tank. It was full. I have the receipt for the fuel purchase. When you have the problem I did in route, I would expect the manager of the facility to come out to speak to me. She hid in her office instead of speaking to me about the experience. I was advised to call the 800 number for uhaul. What a joke.BRUCE K.

This is not related to this location, but the website reservation system. I had reserved my Uhaul a week and half prior online and the location it assigned me to did not have my uhaul when I arrived. I then had to find another location that had the size truck I needed. This delayed me 2 hours after my original pick up time. I don't understand the point of a reservation and online check in process when what I reserved was not available.Leanne S.

I had a reservation for a 4 x 8 trailer for two months. The night before, I was called by the scheduler and told the trailer was not available. However, a 6 x 12 trailer was available at a further location and instead of paying the $108 price originally quoted, I could rent this one for $198! The night before I needed the trailer, a further distance to pickup and double the price. Felt like bait and switch to me with no option. Sat on hold for customer service only to be told nothing they would do. They knew I had no other choice. Very poor service.Scott M.
U-Haul failed to inform me that I was to pick up in Phoenix. I had scheduled with the Surprise location. Waited in line for 30 min in Surprise only to learn that I was to pick up across town in Phoenix. This added another 1.5 hrs to the process. Never again.KEVIN B.

My truck broke down between Tucson and El Paso. I agreed to unload the broken down truck and load the new truck. For agreeing to do this Uhaul promised to reimburse me $400 for the aggravation and inconvenience. I filled out all paperwork associated with this. They did not pay the agreed upon amount. I've spent over 2 hours on hold in one day to be told that no one knows anything about it. Customer service told me they are not allowed to check on this and call me back. Hire more people or more competent ones!! We stood in line for almost two hours to get our rental truck. t There was one person on the counter and two others running around trying to figure out where trucks were or where the keys were to one truck blocking the drive way. We didn't get the truck until 1230 but were expected to return the truck at 10 am How is this having it for 24 hours. Not our fault that we had to stand in line that long. The next day we are trying to return the truck and were stopped before the entrance by the manager. There had been a shooting on property. Not that is anything you can control but it just added to the frustration with this location.Marcy L.
