The system was down so I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen ( part of that was also because the person in front of me made a reservation & the truck wasn't available. After having to wait the guy with key was horse playing with a co worker walking back & forth to the truck just playing around. After I took the key he made a very sarcastic remark to my sister about our wait time wasn't his fault... it wasn't sooo much what he said but how he said it.

The guy was a little surly at first but to be fair to him they were pretty busy, and at he was cool about not charging me extra even though the trailer was a few hours late after my cross country rental

My reservation was not ready and the manager had to come back out to give the vehicle. I only had the it for 2 hours and returned it the same night. I received a phone call 2 days later asking when I waa going to return the vehicle. Manager also stated he would accommodate me with a $50 VIP credit but I have not heard back from him

Was sceptical at first to be honest. I checked the review's and there were lots of complaints but I had a good experience. No long wait time, straight to business, in and out with the truck I needed to complete my move... Nice one!

The truck I rented obviously needed a tune up, as it burned gas excessively and it was empty. I only used it to tow relatively ‘lighter’ car. The staff were like robots, no conversation. With the exception of the guy that hooked up the trailer for me. Customer service is rapidly disappearing in this country today, so not only U-haul is guilty of this.??

We scheduled our pickup for 10am. When we arrived there were 7 people in line & two people checking out. We finally received our uhaul at 11:45. Almost two hours of waiting in line. We also hired movers a starting at 11am & had to pay them for the 1st hour even though we were not there. Horrible service. No sense of urgency. One person even went on break while we were in line. I ordered the 17foot online & we were given the smaller one so we had to make multiple trips. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Never going there again.

If I had a complaint, it would be that the wait times in line were long. The same staff member was responsible for helping truck rental customers and storage facility customers. Extra staff - especially on a Saturday - would be appreciated.

The check in process took too long. I was 3rd on the line and I wait 45 min from the time I arrived to the time I left with the rental truck. Also, I was charged $25 for a cleaning fee and I returned the truck swipe clean and all furniture pads folded. Not sure why I was charged this fee

9 am reservation, express checkout at home, and still spent 2 hours there. Unorganized, broken equipment, terrible customer service. Worst experience with U-Haul ever, so disappointed and frustrated.

The manager is great, he helped me to connect the tow dolly. I cant say the same for the other employees. They have two old ladies that should seek retirement soon. The other guy that works outside, was not helpful. He ignored us all the time to avoid any question. I feel sorry for the manager. He seems to be a great guy.

Very easy online booking. Easy pickup although maybe a bit understaffed for a saturday morning. We requested furniture pads but there weren't any in the truck. Our return was easy and were emailed our reciept and refunded the money for the furniture pads. We will use Uhaul again for any in town moving. Thank you

When we rented our truck it was not cleaned. But we were in a rush and took the vehicle as was. We also kept the truck 2 days longer than originally reserved. Upon returning the truck the representative checking us in gave me a tongue lashing for having the truck longer than anticipated. I told him I was perfectly aware of the fact that I had the truck 2 additional days, and I told him "you all are going to charge me for it...so what's the big deal?" Well he liked my answer less than I liked him tongue lashing me about the additional 2 days. A few more words were passed when he took it to the next level by throwing the big "F" word at me. I was appalled, as was my husband. So a verbal altercation did ensue between the two of them. The customer service was horrible. Something needs to be done with respect to the length of time it takes to check-in/check-out...the process is ridiculously long, most especially when there is only one (1) person in the store assisting customers and the line is almost out the door.

Increidbly slow. I had to wait 2 hours so was 1 hour late to my reservation that was only for a 4 hour window. They seem understaffed, frustrated, and frankly not willing to walk out to the lot to check on what's available for customers (which I imagine has a lot to do with the ladies who work there being probably around 60 years old so I understand but still it hurts customer service). Also there were dozens of walk ins but this uhaul was only taking resrevations... how are folks suppose to know this before walking in? I would suggest a sign outside, perhaps as high as the UHAUL sign itself that distinguishes this. I felt bad for the older folks who sat patiently for a couple of hours only to realize they need to call in a reservations (they did not even had email addresses so could not do it online). I was very disappointed overall. It made me want to take charge and help because the experience was so poorly executed. Thank god the truck was in good shape.

We rented a U haul truck which broke down and we were up most the night between trying to get uhaul to repair or tow it... We did not get a chance to complete our move and had to back to U haul the next day only to be charged again for another vehicle.... Management promised they would remove the charges for that U haul truck that broke down but still charged for mileage and then on top of that he promise a Vip $40 credit. After 5 visits back-and-forth to that you haul trying to get the credit on both the broken down truck and the VIP credit for the inconvenience I have only seen the Vip credit for $40. I tried several times to call the toll free customer service line only to be left on hold for over 45 minutes with no one ever answering. Uhaul Has much to learn when it comes to customer service and customer retention.

I had a confirmed pick up location at Arcos Auto Repair, 3120 Josephine St. New Orleans. When I got there at 9:30 am they told me they had no trucks! After some time they checked on the computer and saw my pick up had been changed to 2801 Tulane Avenue. I was never notified of this change. It was after 11:00 am before I got to Tulane Avenue, waited in line and got the truck. This is unacceptable customer service.

I arrived 20 minutes before my rental time and still didn't get my truck until 25 minutes after my rental time. Then when i was returning, 25 minutes before my time due back, they were so busy they just took my keys and said they'ed email me the receipt. When they did they said I kept the truck AN EXTRA DAY and charged me likewise! Now they will not reply to to email to fix this discrepancy.
