I had initially reserved the truck through Schraders. Received a call from â€œcorporate â€œ two days prior to pick up with a change in location. Was very frustrated with the lack of collaboration the staff calling with the location change provided. I was able to call Schraders directly and arrange for them to go get the truck, and bring it back to Mt. Pleasant. They were wonderful and extremely helpful. The staff from uhaul were not helpful.Michelle R.
The chain that was attached to the hitch was twisted up but still hung close to the ground. At my first gas stop the chain was broken. Upon closer inspection some of the links were worn very thin. I rigged it up with zip ties, but of course those kept breaking, too. If something would have happened I would have had NO emergency chain to depend on. I ask that the chains are replaced regularly and not hung so close to the ground. I spent several days very anxious about the lack of safety measures that the chain would have offered. I've tried to contact people about this, but was unable to reach anyone that really cared about the danger this poses. I only received a $50 gift card for putting up with broken equipment.Cynthia M.
Attendant was friendly but I left the location with no receipt to show that I had returned trailer. Received electronic confirmation later but customer should have a return receipt immediately when trailer is returned. A dishonest employee could claim trailer was not returned or was returned damaged and customer would have no receipt to refute that claim..Daniel M.
Only problem I have I wanted to rent in Washington but no vehicles there to rent so I had to go through Mt Pleasant which caused me to be charged for more mileage that is my only complaintRhonda M.
