I had a more than HORRIBLE experience receiving the U-haul truck at 2 Toronto locations the day before and I didn't think anything else could possibly go wrong ... but i was wrong. I arrived at this location at 11:10 AM. I had until 11:30 AM to return my truck. Once I arrived, the Area Manager asked that we move the truck to a more convenient place for him. Sure (please note - this takes extra time). I then walked over inside the u-haul office, gave the guy at the counter the keys and asked what else I need to do. He told me that was it and that nothing else was required. A couple hours later I get an invoice for over $100!!!!! WHY???? Turns out, apparently I arrived at 11:38 AM. That is NOT TRUE. Just because the guy decided to sit around and chat with his buddy until it was convenient enough to check the car... and THEN log it, I was charged an extra days service (even though I was there 20 mins before I was required for my 24 hour rental), an extra day's insurance (did you even ask if I want insurance?), extra mileage (you made me drive to 3 different locations that were out of the way and you're going to charge me for that???) and $30 for extra gas (I put $30 in there before I returned the truck and it may have been a tiny slither away from where it needed to be .. NOT $30 extra - why did I even fill anything up if you were going to charge me)? At this point, I am furious. I called customer service (this is the 3rd time). After 30 mins, someone answered. I was on the phone with them for at least 30 minutes jotting down a complaint. I am really not one to complain, but this just left me with no choice. This was 16 days ago - I have yet to receive a refund for this extra invoice. I have emailed U-haul at least 4 times and no one gives a SHIT. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE and I do not recommend that ANYONE EVER rely on Uhaul for ANY of their moving needs. I am by far disappointed.

This is the second time I have been forced to use this location. I reserved trucks on two separate locations in Oakville, where I rent storage units. U-haul changed the pick up to Mavis Rd and even charged me for the extra millage. The first truck was in ill repair and the desk agent said he didn't have tools. The second truck was filthy. If I am charged $25 for leaving a truck dirty, why isn't U-haul refunding me for supplying a very dirty truck ? I have moved my belongings out of storage and will never use or recommend u-haul Mavis Rd. Very disappointing service for a once loyal client. K Horton

When you know there is a pick up and there is parking in front of the store closer to the key lockbox. Why would would keep the truck parked 200 meters far? As a first time user there was a lot of run around at 7.30pm without any soul around for assistance. Took me 30 minutes to figure things out. Truck was clean and well maintained. App is user friendly but the steps to follow on app needs to be emailed to clients. Chat assistant was prompt. Thanks for your services.

Make sure new paying system is up and running. Truck oil levels should be checked. Truck should be brought out for you instead of searching for it.

This is my first time using U-Haul. When I went to the store , I prepaid with my debit card , I did not want to use my credit card even though I reserved with my credit card. When returning the vehicle to the store, the agent said that I have a cash refund and he said that it's credited to my debit card automatically .I checked my account and there is no credit !!! I would like to give a fair and honest review but I don't know what to say..

Staff was a little bit disorganized. I could not get the van which I booked, instead I was given a truck. Also after I got the invoice, the cost was miscalculated so I had to email to get the correct invoice.

They charged me twice. The jamaican guy that worked their took a out 30min to check me put because he was dealing with another customer. Ans then he had the nerve to try and charge me for 2 days. I said i been here qaiting since 11am. And you took 30min to help me. So you cant charge me for a second day because ypu took this long. He says to me luckily you caught that. I sais im lucky that i caught you trying to over charge me. That's terrible. He corrected the ok invoice and i paid with my debit card. Then the next day i seen that he charged my credit also. He is a scammer

I need to claim this for business so I hope it will be enough that my address is correct and I paid for it. A little bit confusing on where to drop it off? I waited 45 minutes to get my truck. I understand there was only one person working but he spent the entire time dealing with another customer's dispute and I almost missed my moving window from my apartment. I would never come to this location again.

They charge us twice. In my previous experience I did not need to show my car insurance in order to waive the insurance. My credit card cover car rental insurance. They charge us $2.66 for some unknown item. I have gas the truck above what is required.

It is about the locker, not the drop off location. We were there to rent an unit... we have a big and heavy couch and they offered a location in the second floor. You should install an elevator.

I was told from the employee from the pick up location to talk to the drop off location regarding a refund for the pads that they charged me for and did not have. When I called, the employee was angry when I tried to explain to him that I was charged for pads and did not receive any. He kept telling me that on my return receipt I was not charged, and I told him I understand that but on the original order I was mischarged. At the end he understood what I was saying and told me I have to contact the store I picked up the equipment for and hung up on me. He also did not mark the things I got from the other store (dolly and mats) as returned from my second contract.
