Upon arriving, the person at the counter was not there. Then when he got there 15 min after, he started my reservation, took a phone call and completed that reservation by phone. Then another phone call came in, then he answered it and tended to their reservation. Then he completed my reservation, said that I don't need to pay anything if I return it after hours (originally was booked for 2 but by the time this was done, it was 2:40), didn't say anything about the online process that needed to be completed after hours. Then I took the keys, he did not go out with me to do a circle check , and I found that the key did not fit in any of the cargo vans parked outside. Then after completing another person's reservation, he goes outside and drives me to the appropriate truck. Then I check it and realize the mileage and gas is not what is documented. I go back to the counter and he realizes the wrong keys were given to me, hastily completes another waiver then gives it to me. I then go back out to do my own circle check and then drive off. By the time this is all completed, it's already 3:00. Then I return the truck, put the keys in the slot, and as I'm driving away at 5 pm (when I originally reserved it until), I get a text stating that I have to complete a form online to complete the process. I then make my way back the the truck in the parking lot (I'm already 10 min away), take all the pictures needed to return the truck, then leave. So I could have saved more time with the returning process but I do not think the reservation itself needed to be that slow. There's too little manpower at the desk and he shouldn't have stepped away, knowing there is a reservation coming. By the way, I had reserved everything online beforehand, although I'm not sure if it helped transition the process at all.

Very rude slugish service employer telling me after 15 min waiting his A..to give me the van. that i cant rent you the van with a visa debet must have a credit card ..i told him i rented 2 times before with the visa debet ....and his answer was that he dont belive me ....stupid answer....he has no clue of any of what he is doing ......please teach employers like this one how to deal with custmors politly and stop wasting there time because by this way you will lose them

The vehicle was extremely dirty. I spent at least 2 hours cleaning the cab from top to bottom. This included cigarette ashes and butts, spilled coffee and Soda and windshield that you couldn’t hardly see through.

The van smelled like someone was transporting ponies (horse manure). The attendant at this location forgot to give me my blankets I had to return for them, and forgot to include the mattress cover I had requested. I did not return a second time.

HORRIBLE customer service. I reserved online, showed up and was told since I reserved online I had to proceed online while the woman behind the counter kept typing away on her phone in WhatsApp. Ignored I found my way through the online check in and finally got to the end screen and without looking up was handed the key to a truck. I went out to truck and then came back to inquire about the 8 grand wardrobe boxes I had ordered and pre paid for (2 weeks in advance), only to be told I had no ordered them. When I showed the confirmation and receipt my order was printed out, she looked back told me "nope don't have them sorry" and was told to head to another U-Haul location to pick them up. I was given general directions to another store and had to make them give me the actual address. I then had to drive 5 miles (US odometer) each way to get my pre ordered boxes and out more miles on the truck that I now have to pay for. The U-Haul location I ended up at on royal Windsor drove was an actual U-Haul, not a U-Haul partner. Save yourself the time and hassle, go to the full U-Haul store and get actual service and actually what you pay for. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone! Save yourself the hassle!

I think it would be better if the "office" was located by the trucks in the back, perhaps a trailer office would be a better use of customers time & the employees too.The owner is doing his best & I really do appreciate his efforts given the location in congested surroundings

The staff were extremely rude and did not explain why the price was so expensive. I rented the same size truck a year ago to move to London for school and the price was almost double. The staff at this location did not drive the truck around front for me, they did not do a walk around of the truck to make sure it was in working order, they didn't not explain anything about the truck to me and basically sent us on our way. I was extremely unimpressed with this location and due to I will most likely try to use another truck rental service over you guys next time.
