I told the lady at the front desk that my truck was showing a low windshield wiper fluid symbol and she just told me "low wiper fluid means there's still some. It's not empty." Whilst driving on the highway, I tried to clear my windshield and there were only a few drops which ended up spreading the dust and dirt over. Couldn't see a thing.VICTORIA C.

Most of it was clean but the window was so dirty we could barely see to drive. Location staff were rude and another couple dropping off while we were picking up found the same thing. We ordered boxes on line and paid for them and then were told we had to pick them up 20 minutes away which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard and we went elsewhere to buy boxes. The boxes were shipped to our home address which couldn't be more useless. We also got invoices for 2 trolleys but only ordered and got 1. We will never use uhaul again.Gillian C.

I am first time using 24/7 mobile pick up, picking it up after hours is excellent, but returning the truck back is quite confusing when the website says â€œ put the keys back at locker #7, I wasted my time finding that locker #7 & so i went to uhaul office and ask where is the locker 7 and the uhaul lady just said â€œ put the keys inside the cargo and lock it . The building access itself is really confusing (doors are gated shut, signage everywhere and none of it clear, and staff eventually saw us confusedly trying to figure out how to get in and came to unlock the door to let us in). The staff was not that friendly and pushed every step to be completed by me on my phone. This can't be the only way to rent a truck - entirely by phone?! What if I didn't bring my phone or it was low battery? What if I don't have data? I wasn't able to complete it myself because the check in required me to upload photos and my phone wouldn't complete it due to "low memory". It's a good thing I had my partner is with me for us to do on his phone. But seriously - no manual option to show my license or have the staff enter the information himself? That's insane! There's literally no way either of my parents would have made it through this process, let alone others without the technology. Very exclusive practice that I am totally disappointed in and truly makes me not want to rent with U-Haul again.JENILEE F.

The staff should check the truck before giving key for me. I did not order dolly and pads. I received the truck, then they were there in the truck, i had never been used it, they are still in seals. Then when I return the truck the staff still did not check the truck and charge me $10 or something plus tax for both dolly and pads that I did not order nor use. Very disappointedHung Phi L.

I was missing one of the equipment for moving and was asked to call another store to see if they had it, basically the customer service wasn't great. I know on the contract it states that the equipment may not be available, I just think this 'Rental Pick Up Location' should have in storage or make sure they do have it available, I had booked the truck one week before, I suggest for customer care service to make sure all is in order at the moment of the pick up. Sadly, my experience has been mostly pleasant until when I received my bill via email. I was charged $21.03 for 11.35623 litres of gas! For starters, I have filled the gas level to slightly above the level of when I first picked it up this morning. See attached picture which claimed that the gas tank was full??. I can accept the fact that the vehicle picked up wasn't as clean as it should have been, but this is "daylight robbery!" I can therefore understand why you guys have got mostly negative reviews from your customers. Please amend my bill and refund me the overcharged amount.Richard H.

My experience here was terrible. The online U-Haul website allowed me to book an 8am - 11am reservation even though this store doesn't open until 9am, and the office hours posted on the door said 10am. My text reminder changed my booked time to 9am, and I couldn't get the online check-in to work. I called the help desk, they basically told me to try again. When the store finally opened and I finally got to the counter (which was covered with a metal security gate and a dirty plastic separation sheet, the employee was unbelievably rude and disappeared for half an hour looking for an appliance dolly (which she found within the first 5 minutes and then disappeared again for 25 minutes while 10 people were waiting in line to be helped). I will never be using this location again and will advise others not to either.Stela A.

While the service at this rental site was good, I found the self-serve option at the site close to my home (31 Queen St. N.) to be very poor. The problems began with the automated on-line app's inability to read the back of my driver's license. My license was clear and clean as it was just renewed in September. Yet the app was unable to scan the back side. The poor experience continued when I called your help line. Your help desk representative was unable to help me complete my pick-up process. The only alternative she offered was to drive 10 km to the Mavis Rd site and wait for the office to open. The result of this 2-hour delay was to inconvenience the people assisting with our move and having to complete the move later in the day. To improve the automated pick-up process, I would suggest that the picture and license scanning process be completed in advance of going to the pick-up location. Furthermore there ought to be a means to check that the app will work for customers prior to the day of rental. If the app will not work for certain customers, provide real help to either address the problem with the app or provide a reasonable alternative to those who wish to pick-up their rental vehicle early in the morning (8:00 - 9:00 a.m.).David S.
Horribe customer service. Horrible experience overall. My uhaul booking was changed on me last minute and when i finally arrived at the location, i was told my truck wasnt there. I then waited in a cold dark parking lot by myself trying to get a hold of customer service on the phone (after hours). I was told that "my truck that they promised they had for me, is for some reason not showing in the system". I then waited another hour for a uhaul employee to show up to give me a pair of keys to a truck smaller than what I was promised on the phone. Absolutely terrible and delayed my move by 2 hours. The guy was late to show up to work by 15 minutes. And we couldn't pick up truck at 9 like we were supposed to. I couldn't use the online app because he was late. And then I did and then I had to go inside to pickup key which took another 15 minutes waiting in line. So we lost an hour of our 6 hour booking and the girl charged us because we were waiting in line to return the truck at 3pm. Horrible experience.Vahid S.

Price on your website is in Canadian form, at 89c a km however on your bill your charging 1.49 a km which is way more than the current conversion. Also a tip. Just fill the tanks so your not feeling someone oh it's in between 3/8 and half. Like if it's full it's always to full. They definitely must be using this as a way to overcharge.
