The person at the gas station the one who handled all the paperwork and got my license information. Spelled everything wrong and he had my correct information informing of him. He just gave me the key and did not explain anything about the car he just said that he would leave by six pm and another person would be there to take back the truck. When I return the truck it was past six and it was the same guy. He did not even check out the truck. I put a bit more fuel in the tru k and I was not refunded anything back. It would be better if they give customer service.lazaro P.
I was charged for gas because supposedly it was at 3/8 and I returned it with 1/4. It was never at 3/8 you should get a better system for tracking your gas system because I had to pay an extra $18Yarilyn S.

The customer service representative did not fully explain the terms of the contract to me. I asked him, could I return the U-Haul van to any location and he said, yes. I was not aware it would be double the price. I would have planned accordingly if he would have explained in detail when I asked during the pick up. It was a BIG inconvenience. I will not rent another uhaul. The staff needs more training!QuantÃ© M.
I had a terrible experience here! First, the gas station cashier imposed insurance coverage on me by stating its mandatory for my vehicle but not other trucks that are larger, which makes no sense at all. That's a lie, I know for a fact. He called someone in Uhaul to simply just take off the coverage from their system. Magically, coverage doesn't apply anymore but nonetheless I'm glad the problem was corrected and I wasent continued to be lied to. So he then gives me an additional paper to sign which I've never signed before (I've rented dozens of Uhauls before) that appeared threatening stating any damages I have to immediately pay them whatever they ask for and they dont go through my insurance first. Speaking with the Uhaul representative, she mentioned if I was to take the $20 coverage and damage occured I'd still be responsible to pay out an additional $150. No where in the contract does it say that and it's misleading to pay for coverage thinking you're entirely liability-free. Finally I get the truck and there is a lot of dried bird crap running down the rear side of the truck. At the end I asked the lady inspecting my truck if they allow their trucks to leave with that much birdcrap on it and she said "we dont clean our trucks" at least thats what I think she said through the mask because its odd they'd have a car cleaning station and not wash it. Overall I wasted a lot of time with the coverage and won't be returning here again, especially with the gas station cashier deferring all blame to Uhaul by saying "he doesnt work for Uhaul." Annoyed. The people working the were short staffed and were either not well trained or didn't care. Additionally, on the return, the lady that received the truck didn't know how to drive, and so she'd me to park in a spot too narrow for the size truck I returned. I told her so, but she insisted that I park there. I attempted to comply, but stopped when it was obvious that I would scrap the truck in the next spot. I tried to use my Geico full cover insurance, but the attendant didn't let me use it because arguing that the vehicle, a van is targeted by robbers very often. So he charged an extra fee . Is that legal?Donald H.
I think the mileage can be adjusted. I did not used 10 miles but the way it is setup, there is no in between but instead it's in multiples of 5, so over 10, it becomes 15 and so forth. Overall, it was a very good experience. Will use the service again.LINDA P.
Entering & exiting is very difficult, to much stuff going on in such a small location. They have a car wash, food truck & a auto mechanic station all on the same property. Also they only have 1 attendant which handles the Uhaul, the convenience store and those who want to play lottery and/or get gas. Everything takes long and it can get hairy trying to put your uhaul truck back in the tight parking space due to all the other stuff going on.Alex B.
Customer service very inefficient, very unprofessional, made me wait a long time, the miles were incorrect, the ignition key was very hard to turn on. It took me a while to start the truck; which I let the lady know about the problem, but she didn't seem like she really cared. Anyway, a bad experience overall. The location made me purchased the CDW insurance even though all insurance through U-Haul is optional. The gas station personnel told me he could not rent me the cargo van unless I purchased the CDW which is a complete lie. Still waiting for a follow up phone call from U-Haul.Anthony C.

I was very dissatisfied with the rental and its location. The truck was not clean. It had bird droppings all over the windshield. The truck was in poor conditions. Parts were missing like the drivers window handle. Second bad experience was the location and the customer service. I do not like to give bad reviews but i must admit i had to on this experience.Modesto N.
