I tried to use the website to return my vehicle but it would not accept the odometer reading or the photo of the odometer and fuel and told me to submit a more recent photo. It was completely frustrating. I ended up just dropping the key in the return and keeping photos of the truck for proof of no damage and correct fuel level.

We dropped the van off after adding gas but were charged $21.00 for gas because we did not put enough gas in to bring it back to the exact amount that was in it when we picked it up. We only drove 68 miles and we put $10 gas in the van. We were still charged a full $21.00 on top of that. We will not rent from U-Haul in the future. The tank should be full when you pick it up and then you just have to fill it up when you retur. Very simple process

Have reliable truck to get you from AZ to Pennsylvania. The truck rear end or transmission went out. The hoist on the auto trailer didn’t work. We discovered that because due to the narrow streets in Fairfield Illinois we had to disconnect the auto trailer. I lost a day and a half of travel and spent an extra night in a hotel. There we no trucks with in 60 miles to transfer my furniture to. So we had to drive over and hour away. Fay at the uhaul roadside assistance was amazing. She called me back and made arrangements to get the movers and tow help I needed. My daughter in law and I had to ride in the tow truck because the small town of Effingham Illinois would not have a rental car until 3:30 or 4 p that day. No taxi, no Uber or Lyft in town. Our tow truck driver Kameron from Tri-Power towing was amazing he stayed and helped us reload the car onto the auto trailer since it was broke it took a couple of men to move it. We had to take the car off of the trailer because it was broke and would not lift to get the trailer off of the truck. If feel I was sent out with known faulty equipment. I was not placed in a safe vehicle or towing trailer. I want my money back and will not ever use uhaul again.

As soon as I left; I noticed that the fuel gauge read 1/2. I had 3 men waiting; so I could not go back. When I returned the truck the young man in the yard said I should have brought the truck back. I told him the circumstances. He stated that I would have to fill the tank. I told him that I only drove it 5 miles. I was insulted by his attitude. How in the He'll could I have used a half tank of gas? Otherwise the other employees were great and the service was great.

The vehicle was left unlocked and the passenger door left open, which wasn't realized until driving down the road and the door started to shake with every bump. Also, the ramp doesn't close. It may have closed at one point, but based on the gouge marks on the ramp, I assume this is a known issue. I had to crisscross bungee cords to make sure the ramp didn't come loose. The ramp issue also doesn't allow the liftgate to close unless it is forced through one of the gouges (the door actually opened while driving). Overall, this was an entirely disappointing experience.

I believe his name was so unprofessional with us we returned the truck and when i asked if i owe anything he was I DONT KNOW I HAVENT CHECK IT, in a rude way And he was like I NOT ARGUE WITH YOU!! Its not our fault that the system was nit matching with the paper and the truck. He said that gas should be in a quarter tank And he was like do have any proof Well we took a picture before we even started the truck and the lady yesterday who was not so friendly as well knows that. This is not our first to rent with you and because of that employee we are not going to rent with you anymore

I was redirected here by traffic after being sent to a location that did not have any trucks. My first location selected for pickup apparently did not have a truck available so I was contacted by traffic to a new location. When I got there they said they didn't have any trucks and she hadn't had a 15' truck in more than 2 weeks. My name was listed next to a blank space. She contacted traffic and they found a truck for me at a nearby location. So the first person directed me to no truck. I think she was mad that I didn't want to go into Tempe to get a truck but wanted to stay in the Mesa/ Gilbert area. To say the least I was very disappointed in my experience with the first person from traffic who directed me to an absent truck!
