One clerk was waiting on customers and he was having trouble with the computer. I had to wait nearly 45 minutes before I i was serviced, and It made me late for my next appointment. There were large box remnants left in the trailor which eventually blew out of the trailor that could have caused a driving problem. The facility did have my reservation, and did have what I was looking for.

Was charged for a dolly. In person, we canceled the dolly rentals before leaving the center however final bill still showed One dolly rental.

Overall a good experience. The staff was helpful and courteous, the check-in process was quick, and the 12'x6' trailer was in good shape and worked well. The only issue I faced was with the online check-in when I returned the trailer to where I picked it up. I had reserved the trailer for 12 hours, 7am-7pm, but could not make it back until 7:15pm. When I checked the trailer back in via the online method, it said it was going to charge me an extra day, even though I returned it in just over 12 hours. The web app wanted to charge me for a 2 day use, but thankfully gave me the option to disagree. I checked the disagree box and entered an explanation, but I have not heard back. Perhaps just a glitch with the app? The cost for a one day rental still shows pending on my credit card.

First time I have used U -Haul. I am impressed with your company. All employees (at the location and on the phone) were exceptional under less then optimal circumstances. (New Years Eve and exstream cold weather.) I will use in the future and will recomend to friends and family.

Nothing. The employees were very knowledgeable and helpful and the 6x12 trailer was in excellent condition except the back lights didn't work after we started the trip.

This place was a disaster from beginning to end. Again, I had selected a return location conveniently across the street from my office, but a guy named Jeremy called and asked that it be returned to this location--again, forcing me to impose on someone to follow me to the location, and then wait for 30 minutes while the three guys staffing the store sat on their butts wandered around at the speed of turtles. The check-in guy was three-hundred pounds-plus with one speed..... very, very, slow. He (finally) got into the cab to read the mileage, etc. and actually fell asleep at the wheel. Due to all the issues with the move, I asked for a copy of the receipt and he mumbled something about eMailing it and shambled off. No greetings, "thank you for your business", nothing. This process alone took more than 20 minutes. I then went into the store and there was one guy (yet another 300-pounder) talking on the phone. Apparently trying to answer a customer inquiry, he seemed more confused than the person on the phone. Me, and 4 other customers, stood around while this guy failed to acknowledge our presence or offer a "I'll be right with you." I waited for 10 minutes and finally left. More about Jeremy.... 30 minutes after the system generated return time came and passed, he called demanding to know where the truck was. I tried to explain that I actually didn't complete the rental until 8 hours after the U-Haul system indicated. He was unmoved and utterly lacking in grace, empathy, and gave no indication that he had any interest in accommodating a customer--even though I know from experience that the local stores do have leeway for such accommodations. When you rent from ANY U-Haul, be sure to check what time their system claims the rental started! You can be assured that it will not be in your favor. My business rents 10-12 U-Hauls a month. You can bet that we will not be renting from this location. And any requests for favors (like dropping equipment off at an inconvenient location) will not be considered--common courtesies are a two way street. Take my advice, go somewhere else.

I appreciated both guys that checked me out and in. They were efficient and friendly. I rented a 5x8 trailer. The only confusion and frustration I had was in returning the trailer. I went to the return lane but was asked to back up and go to the other side of the building where someone would meet me. The man explained that I was blocking the truck return lane. Now for many, and me in this case, backing up a trailer is not the thing I do best or even well but I managed to back up without hitting anything, Let me insert here that he could have instructed me to pull forward and circle the building to the other side which would have eliminated me backing up a trailer in a busy area. I drove to the other side and not seeing anyone I proceeded around back where a staff person was checking in a car towing trailer. When he finished he came over, asked if I was returning the trailer and then told me that the one I was returning belonged up front. He said if I would go up front he would be there in a moment to assist me. Frustration. Anyway I went up front, no one immediately in sight and I'm getting impatient and frustrated, so I unhitched the trailer and rolled it into an open location I saw, then I proceeded to go inside and check in. Not a real big deal and I didn't mind unhitching the trailer. It was the time of day when people were returning rentals and was a busy flurry of activity. I'm in retail so I understand these momentary rushes. What I think would have helped is for the person who checked me out to have told me where and how to return the trailer. But let me restate, through all this the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and I had a very good rental experience.

We had a problem during the pick up process. The person assisting us was very straight forward about the problem and very apologetic. Also, he gave us a discount for the inconvenience of the problem. We are very pleased with how our rental was handled and the genuine care Jeremy and Charlie showed to us during the rental process. Honestly, they went above and beyond. Their direct approach to the problem made the problem not that bad. This is the best customer service experience that my husband and I have encountered in a very long time.
