Prices are too high. Advertised as $19.95, it seems like a good deal. Once everything was said and done our bill was $107 for a 6 hour rental of a 10 ft. truck. .99/mile is simply a ripoff.

Picking up the truck went smoothly. The young lady was very nice and polite. She had a line of people amd kept it moving. Now, returning it was another story. I brought the truck back and parked it in the first available spot I seen next to 2 other trucks. I went in and a heavy set gentleman was behind the desk and 2 other gentlemen off to the left. There was a hispanic man in the chair being waited on. John Florence Jr, the emoployee behind the desk, was on the phone. When he got off the phone his tone and the way he talked to the hispanic man was very degrading. I wasnt sure what had transcribed before I walked in but he talked to the man as if he was 3 yrs old. Omce he left, John asked how he could help me. I smiled & told him I needed to return my rental. He asked where did you park? (While looking at the cameras) i told him and he tosses the key back to me and said "you shouldve parled it around back". I explained I was never told that but the lady was busy that morning. He looked at me like I was dumb and told me I had to move it. I asked is there anywhere in particular I need to park it, he said NO. His tone and attitude was some of the most unprofessional I had seen in a long time. I was in a great mood bc I started the move on my new home. So I go out, tell my husband hjat happend & i had to move it. So I drive around to the back & park it next to another truck in an empty space. He proceeds to send one of the other gentleman out there to tell me I need to move it again, to the back door where his lazy butt is standing. He didnt tell me when I asked. So I told the gentleman he can come over here bc Im not moving it a 3rd time. As John walks over to me & my husband, he says "im having you added to the do not rent list!". Now, the truck had more gas in it when I returned it then when I left, it was in the same condition, with low mileage. I always take a picture when I get in or gas, milage & time and do the same when I get out. He was the MOST unprofessional person I have seen in all my years of renting trucks. This weekend we are renting 3 large trucks for a bulk move and had planned on renting from Uhaul. We have now chosen to go to another renter. This cant be the first time this "guy" has acted this way with customers. His snide remarks when I walked out was heard as well. He talks to people like he is big bad and important. Im telling you now, had he kept getting smart, my husband would've taken over. I advised him NOT to take any of my personal information or CC info off my account. This jerk is not to be trusted. He's causing you to lose business, trust me!

Both team members were returning from smoke breaks when I went in and the cigarette smoke followed us all the way in. I undarstand smokers are a protected class in Kentucky, but perhaps staggared smoke breaks could limit this issue?

Was told one thing when I picked the trailer up but then was charged an extra day after dropping off on Xmas day as we were instructed. This is a shady location, I should have gone to the Bardstown Rd. location where you are always treated as a valued customer. But even Uhauls customer service line was pathetic, rude and not willing to listen to a honest customer complainant and resolve a simple issue. Will never be doing business with this company again.

Far as my opinion,it's been very good customers service and in and out and always have great experience. I've rented several,several times I never had negative service and will always use U-HAUL 4 any move short haul or long great company. I rate my experiences great,and recommend U-HUAL to family and friends. Thank you U-HAUL.

Do not give reservations that have been called in away to someone else and you guys need better communication customer service I know that they get a commission and they need to know if there's going to be a truck at the location poor business

The employee could get the contract to remove the insurance coverage that was placed on the rental without my permission, she had to call for help which took a while. The truck reeked of cigarette smoke. Overall poor experience but sadly it was better than Budget rental. Sorry comparison

Employee checking me in was quite rude. When I checked in I had to walk around the building to get waited on. I mentioned they really needed a rear entrance so customers didn't have to walk around the building. I was told they only had one for employees. She said she didn't hear the bell and it was cold outside she wasn't standing out there in the cold. I said there were two trucks parked in the return area so I could't trip the bell. she said I'll check you in as soon as I'm done with what I'm doing. (She was pasting stickers on a board.)

I did not get a good deal for the girl who took care of me I imagine that it was there why I am ispano and I do not speak English should have someone who spoke Spanish so that Latinos do not go through discrimination

Our experience was horrible! When we picked the truck up FINALLY!,There was only one person in there and a line out the door. The guy was also trying to train someone and I heard him comment that the general manager had decided to leave early, People were upset because it was taking a long time to receive service AND the computer system was obviously on the frizz because he kept having to call someone to ask how to do things. The guy, John was very nice but he is one person and cannot do it all by himself. We also was dealing with an issue of fraud on my fiancee's license. Someone had booked a truck some how using his drivers license in 2006 and we could find no one to help us sort this out. We paid a bill of $142.60 in addition to what the cost was for the current rental of the truck. I had made the reservation so they flagged my name because I sent him to pick up the truck and he presented his license. I felt it was not right to allow me not to rent as well even though my license was clean. The whole experience was an absolute mad house and as far as I am concerned that IS NOT how business is supposed to be. We did get a truck in good working order and was able to get moved but wow!

Original reservation was at a boost mobile business on new cut road in Louisville with a pick up time of 10am. I arrived and was told the truck was not there. I would appreciate if this is researched and remedies for future customers as it damages my confidence in securing a rental from Uhaul in the future. Luckily I was not in a hurry.
