Every thing was great. Picked up 17' truck and dolly. Was waiting and ready to go. Gentlemen was very efficient and knew his job well.

My 15 foot box truck had an engine issue that caused the truck to shake while at a stop.It ran so bad it only got 7 miles to the gallon while it was unloaded on the interstate and if it hit a bump the steering would get play in it and it would swerve on the road.I used 30 gallons of gas and only drove 197 miles

Both locations were great. Fast and friendly start to finish. My only complaint is with the woman who called me the day before to verify my reservation. Please know that this woman does not work at either location but she was without a doubt the rudest person I have ever talked to. She called and told me my noon pickup time had to be moved to 4PM because they wouldnt have a truck for me. I asked why because I had made the reservation online 5 days before. She said she didnt know and that it wasnt her responsibility. I asked if she could confirm if a truck would be ready at 4pm. She said she couldnt and that's the best she could do. I asked if there was another location where I could get the size truck I reserved and she said she didnt handle that and I'd have to call back on Monday. But I needed the truck Sunday so that was a pointless suggestion. I asked if the truck wasnt there at 4 if they would do anything to rectify the situation and she said no we wont do that. I said so much for customer service and she scoffed like I was being rude. I only asked her relevant questions. I then asked if she would be at the store when I arrived at 4 for pick up. She said no and I replied thank goodness (I did not want to interact with her face to face.) She responded by asking me if that was a threat to which I said no and she said she would mark me as hostile and hung up the phone. I called the number back and of course the same horrible agent answered the phone and all she said was you can pick your truck up on Preston highway, didnt even give the address, at 4pm tomorrow and hung up on me again. I went to the website and chat with an absent and she answered all my questions very politely and even got me the truck I wanted at noon like I originally requested and there were also 3 other trucks there just like the one I wanted. I dont k ow why the agent that called me had to be so rude and tried to change my time due to inventory when there were 4 trucks available less at noon like I requested. I will be contacting corporate about this woman. With all that being said The folks at Preston are great!

The young lady I worked with was a first class person She was very friendly, helpful, respectful. She did everything very well. She loaded and unloaded the trailer on and off of my truck. Would not let me help at all. I ran a business for over 50 years and this type of person is a rarity to find today.

I had a horrible move because of this trailer pickup. Firstly, I was told that it would be $40 to rent the trailer, which must have been a mistake because in the end it was ~$191. Secondly, when I tried to schedule my vehicle inspection, I was told that it could just be done in about 5 minutes when I picked up the trailer. Because I didn't go in beforehand for the inspection, I had no idea that my trailer wiring would be incompatible with your trailer. I then had to either wait half a day for them to have someone who can install the new wiring, or I could install it myself. I chose to install it myself, so I bought the new wiring kit from you all. After a few hours, I realized that the wiring kit I purchased wasn't the right one, so I went to the local AutoZone and bought the correct kit myself, and installed it. Because of this ~4 hour delay, I was way behind on packing, and got hit by some terrible rain before I was able to finish - something that never would have happened if my move went as planned. This in turn forced me to drive the first leg of my trip in the dark and in the rain, which was unpleasant but not such a big deal compared to the 4 hour packing delay, and the torrential downpour that I was caught in while packing. Based on this experience alone, I'm afraid that I won't be recommending UHaul to any friends, and I most likely will go to another business for my moving and storage needs in the future. Yor mobile checkin service could not verify my location. But I see the drop-off location did receive the truck and my receipt was sent, so that part, at least, all worked our.

The online process is horrible. When at the Preston location, I was told by the online 8-step process that I was at the wrong location. I was an hour late to my own moving event bc I was redirected to the location I preregistered a truck pick up at. When I went to that site, I was then redirected to where I was sent a text to go to. I couldn’t proceed through online no matter which pickup place I went to. It was complete madness. I will never use the online pick-up tool alone. It was a complete Mercy that the uhaul location I was told to come to by text was open on a Sunday.

The truck was a little dirty and the check engine light was on the whole time. Once inside, the employees were rude while helping us. Once thy stepped outside to look at the truck they were much nicer, but rude at first. We were also double charged and over charged based on estimations and statements after the rental. Poor experience.

I received the vehicle with less than a quarter tank of fuel. I mistakenly did not notice this until I was off down the freeway minutes later. However, I did take a photo of the matter. I realize I should have been more diligent on my end but their assessment of the vehicle being at a quarter tank was incorrect (have photo to prove it). Plus, it is not best practices to send moving vehicles out with that level of fuel. It was certainly an inconvenience and simply a disappointment. Overall staff was kind although there is often a line at this particular location. Thanks.

My over experience with U-haul was horrible. I had to go to 4 locations over a 6 hour period to try and pick up the rental truck and tow hauler. This stop was the 4th to get the tow hauler. My first stop was in Shepherdsville Ky at 11:30 a.m. to turn around and drive back to Louisville, KY to a truck that wasn't at this location either. I had to wait for a truck pickup until after 5:30 p.m. at a Louisville, KY location and then drove to this location for tow hauler. Then I had to drive back to Shepherdsville to actually start loading the truck. This was a terrible experience. The day was sun until I picked up the truck and then it was raining for loading time.
