I rented a 20 foot truck unaware that included the cab. I thought I was renting 20 ft moving space which was recommended by a moving company. I was not informed by uhaul that footage included cab.

The manager Mikey was great. The location had no drive thru . Very tight parking and maneuvering. Upon returning the hourly employee expected me to turn my truck and back the trailer in a tight spot. Pissed me off. I ended up stopping and dropping the trailer. I had to back out and carefully turn around. Mikey came out, they got a trailer dolly and moved it. Mikey had worked in the morning and came back in the evening. Great manager poor setup, and very busy place. In the morning there was a line 10 deep waiting to pick up equipment and only two employees available to assist customers.

Don't change anything. The staff were excetional. Very helpful and understanding about what a horrible time I had with the people on your 800 line. They always said they were concerned and wanted to help but I got a lot of misinformation and was quite upset by the time I reached the Lebanon store.

I had a very poor experience with U-Haul that was, fortunately, put straight by the Lebanon location. I was supposed to pick up my rental in White River Junction at 12:30. I was waiting for over 2 hours while there was "a problem with the system". This caused me no end of problems as I was renting the truck to help a friend move house. U-Haul has offered a $50 refund. Which with the extra miles I put on my trip and the inconvenience I was caused doesn't really cut it in my opinion. I spoke with several people at U-haul throuout this fiasco and was given answers such as 'Sorry, nothing I can do", "You'll just have to wait for the system to re-boot'. I understand that sometimes technical difficultuies arise, however when a company has already taken the funds from my account and im waiting for over 2 hours to take the truck that I've paid for, I think you can undestand my frustrations. I was droipped off by a friend in White River Junction and then had to call them back to come and get me to take me to a different location, i.e Lebanon. I will not be reccomending U-Haul to anyone and I dont think that I will ever use U-Haul personally.

When I picked up the trailer the manager was great and funny and made the experience amazing. When I returned the trailer the woman that returned it was rude. She acted like she hated her life and her job. She also was talking to a co-worker when I got there and was telling a story, instead of stopping to help me she finished her story and then waited a couple of minutes before helping me. I was the only customer in there. It was just a horrible experience.

The store manager was alone, on a Saturday evening at the end of the month. I worked for U-Haul in the 90’s for six years, managing several locations in NH. It’s sad to see some things have not changed, like store managers getting worked to death. I waited 40 minutes to pick up my rental. There were other customers who waited as long for service. Kudos to the manager, he did the best he could. When I returned my rental the next day, he told me he didn’t leave work until after 9:00 the previous evening. You’re a multi-billion dollar company, give the store managers the payroll to hire and retain employees. Maybe a little less “flash” on your in-store marketing and more money given to your employees would be a better business model. Lastly, the store manager (his name escapes me) should get a raise. He handled adversity calmly and professionally, all while looking exhausted and frustrated. I’ll go back to U-Haul West Leb, as long as he’s there.

We planned our entire move based on having our uhual rental truck. We made the reservation several weeks in advance and I was sure to call multiple times to confirm it. I called one last time the day before we were supposed to pick it up. They still confirmed my reservation, but told me they didn’t have a truck at their location for me to use. They didn’t even have a back up solution for me, other than waiting for a different day. I’ll never rely on uhual again.

Even though I preregistered online for quick pickup, I had to wait over a half hour because there was only one person handling the office. There was no place to actually pick up the vehicle quicker than waiting behind all the other customers who had not preregistered. Very bad service.
